"Well... she does have some nice curves."
Amara smiled and winked. It was true that now she was married she didn't look at anyone else in that manner, and for those people who have known her for longest, it is hardest for them to take in. Amara had been a flirt her whole life; sometimes to aid her in pursuation, sometimes in battle and sometimes just for her mere enjoyment... fact is, that flirty Amara was gone.
"Can i ask you a question, Ali? Before you came to the RDS, from when we lost contact, what did you do with yourself? Apart from train... and then kill your trainers."

Family, located old connections, established my own web of informations, went out on adventures and following rumors of artifacts and such. Eventually gathered a group of followers who increased in numbers and helped build this marvelous castle and city. Why do you ask?* Ali tilted his head to the side and arched an eyebrow, of course it could be just a questions. But even the simplest questions had roots somewhere.*

Amaras eyes widened slightly and she looked to the floor. Something was suddenly different. She looked as if she was scared of something, which was rarely the case... especially while she was stood in Alis castle. She pushed herself off the table on which she sat and wandered to his disk, quickly grabbing a pen and a piece of paper and jotting something down which was different to what she was saying.
"Ahh, i see... It was just a mere question... i'm curious, you never told me exactly. And these soldiers of yours, how strong are they?"
She said nervously, shoving the paper towards him after she had finished writing in a font that was barely readable.
'I'm being Blackmailed, don't tell me any more.'

Very strong* Ali arched an eyebrow at the note before he looked up at her in the same confused manner. So?, just kill the ones blackmailing. It wouldn't be simpler then that, however judging by her behavior it seemed like these blackmailers were some pretty nasty types. It brought a smile upon Ali's lips.* So...who is blackmailing and scaring you so that you are forced to write it down on a note even here in my domain?

Amara's eyes grew heavy and she began to quiver slightly. Oh god... they were coming. It was a shame that they chose to return in numbers, even when Ali had warned their type to stay away from him. They were stronger now, and they knew what they were up against. Having lost one of their most honared beings to the hand of Ali, they grew angry and instantly began to plot. Amara didn't know what they were, but she knew who they were related to, and that in itself made the hair on her arms stand on end. She could think of no better words to describe them in a way in which Ali would understand her.
"Imoens family."

* Ali simply began to chuckle before it turned into a roaring laughter, so that was the big danger. Nevertheless Ali moved his right hand outwards and prepeared to snap his fingers, just in case they arrived.* Big ******** deal

Amara shook her head, her expression becoming a little more worried than before.
"No Ali, they are stronger and far more reckless than before... you angered them, and they have found a way to get passed that shield you created. You may be able to defend yourself against them, but they are watching me right now, and thye know i ahve told you this. I have no way to defeat them, and as soon as i step foot out of this city, i will die."

Shame, been nice knowing you then.* Ali spoke while he spun his chair around towards the aquarium and waved his right hand in a lazy manner out from the side of the tall back, carefree.*

"What a surprise."
Amara said smply before shrugged and standing.
"I tried to warn you."
It was true, although he did not want to believe it. There were many of them, and they would just keep coming. Running a finger through her pale hair, Amara headed to the door.
"Tell Lucian that i loved him when he gets out of the chambers."
She took a deep breath and pushed the study door open, making her way down the long corridoor and down the stairs. It was then that she stopped, placing her hand on the metal handle of the castles main doors. She was walking to her death, unless she could figure out a way to avoid it in the next four seconds or so... the set Amara on edge a little.

* Ali didn't care how many they were, he had defeated one so now he could defeat them all. Hmph..figured a way to bypass that shield of his?. It was odd how Amara believed in such lies, that shield was flawless through and through. As for Amara herself, what was he supposed to do? Stuff her inside his office with Lucian for the rest of their lives?, Give them a home in the city of his? They were wood elves, cities were hardly an ideal place for them as that race prefer to live among nature. She was on her own...for now.*

Amara hesitated as she pushed the castles main doors open slowly. The sun shined upon her brightly, creating a line behind her and a shadow cast far back into the dark room behind her. She sighed and turned back to look up in the general direction of where she knew Ali was sitting, but for some reason, she shrugged and smiled.
"Goodbye."

With one deep breath, she left the castle and allowed the door to close shut by iteself behind her, causing a slightly louder bang than if she had closed it herself. She strolled through the city calmly, her eyes settling on its people and the troops that wandered off duty.

It was not long before Amara found herself at the city gates, guards throwing cold and cutting glares towards her as she stopped moving forwards, simply staring out into the field. If she was going to die there, she atleast wanted to know her surroundings. If she had a choice, which it was clear now that she didn't, she would have chosen to be killed and burried inside the forest, where the leaves could scatter over her grave and her spirit could wander and protect it still. A tear fell down her cheek, but no sign of sadness touched her expression.

Her steps continued outside of the castle, when, after no more than thirty seconds of being outside the gates, four of the spirit kind surrounded her. She smiled and another tear came which she could not stop no matter how hard she tried. She wasn't upset or even scared, it was more of the fact that she allowed herself to be taken by such foolish creatures, when she was expiriancing the happiest times of her life.

The spirits glared, untill the spoke as one.
"You have dissapointed us."
And then, they attacked as one. She managed to dodge two of their great halberds, but the other two sliced her stomach and back. Her leather armor block the blades slightly, preventing them from going so deep, but the pain struck her harshly. She unsheathed her daggers and threw both, one at the spirit to her left and one to the right, and, as she expected, they simply flew straight through the target and landed far away lodged into the ground. It was then that another two appeared, ramming two daggers each into her, on in her left kidney, one through her rib cage and into her left lung.

By the time she had realised where those two had been placed, she had decided she had no chance of survival, and simply allowed her body to grow limb and flal to the ground. The spirits left, leaving Amara drenched in a pool of her own blood with four daggers sticking out of her. She moved her head slightly, allowed her gaze to face far up into the clouds, a tear falling down the side of her face as she felt the life leaving her. With her last amount of energy, she forced a smile, so all who saw her knew, that she did not suffer.

* Ali remained unmoving for several minutes after he had felt Amara's presence completely vanish, Rising up to his feet afterwards and simply wandering over to the large window out towards the grand ocean and the docks of his city. It was strange, for a moment it seemed as if the day got a little brighter. In a way he was content, not for the fact a friend of his had died but that she did so on her own accords, her own way. Amara, The silly little vampire wood elf who took a mere human, that possessed nothing more then a handgun, a woman to back him up and determination, under her wings and thought him the very basics as well as granted him his first ounce of power. That was something he would always be grateful for.

While starring out towards the ocean, Ali slowly began to smile before he crossed his arms in front of his chest. Nodding somewhat for himself before he simply spoke.* Farewell friend, thanks.
