Oh-kay. How do I put this so it doesn't sound whiny? Well, I had this dream that was sort of a nightmare...[tl;dr] and it was about this thread, and it sort of magnified some of my frustrations and anxieties, and...since I seem to have no choice, you guys can quote me now. I originally made a rule against it because of my need to completely erase any posts that caused problems, but now nobody responds to my posts at all, and I've been told that's the reason, even though I've tried (and clearly failed) to clarify that it was just for situations of potential controversy, and while I still hold the belief that it means nobody actually gives a s**t, seeing as it should be pretty easy to just type "@Kestin:", apparently most people don't see it that way, and when I get maybe one response to maybe one in fifteen posts in this thread...it really convinces me I'm barely tolerated around here, and to see if the effect will change...[/tl;dr] I hereby change the rule. Quote away. Just...don't be surprised if I ever ask you to delete something I said that may have offended or upset someone. sweatdrop Since that seems to be happening very rarely anyway, I figured the emotional issues the rule was causing me weren't worth it.

I don't often respond to your posts because there's no advice I can offer, or because you'd be convinced that I'm wrong or misinformed regardless of what I say. XD That doesn't mean I dislike you. Quite the opposite, in fact. Y'know, you're too hard on yourself. D: When you think that others are gonna hate you, you begin acting with that in mind... And soon enough, others pick up on that off-putting disposition that you develop, whether you know it or not... In order to break that circle, you've gotta start being more positive, especially about yourself. ;3;
