Begun the fall of Sakray, has.
Virgo's Goodbye I have been running this over my head and I've made the decision to quit.
Currently, I have too many things going on in my life to be the GM I once
used to be and I refuse to be called a "useless" GM.
The second reason is soon I will move out of my home and I won't have my own computer where I'm going at least for a while. Meaning I could access forums and irc from webclients but no in-game RO for me.
the third and final reason, ever since der left, a lot of decisions were put into Cole's (GM-Toryeva) hands and so far he's shown no support to help on Sakray. He's neglected reports that staff like Julia, CherryBlossom, and I have been feeding him for the past 2 weeks. I can't take control due to my situation and so I'm stuck with him. I REFUSE to let the downfall of Sakray be put into my hands and so I will pull out just when I should.
However, there are more reasons as to why I there was that animosity from der and I (since I know people had heard) to Cole. Feel free to look at these logs and you decide what to make of them.

Luckily I save records of a LOT of events and so I was lucky enough to save this.
This pissed both der and I when we first heard. However, at the time we had full control of Sakray and so we moved on without him. We ran it and increased the population again. But ever since that day we found out, there was that feud between the two and it continued up until der's departure. Both of us have been working so hard ever since we got hired and for us to get this kind of "support" from other staff members is not just ridiculous, it's bullshit.
I don't know the future of Sakray since I won't be around to witness it
(assumes Cole will ban him as soon as he finds out I let the truth out)
but I would hope it would continue. However, I personally can no longer work with people who abuse their power and who are personally assholes :< (FYI: If you don't agree with Cole, he automatically dislikes you so meh)
Other staff members have been let known of this situation and some have left. I never intended anything bad to happen to Sakray or Main but with the integrity of the entire community at hand, I can't stand to watch the lies.
I don't know where I'll end up in the future but you are all welcomed to hang out and idle on my IRC channel (#Virgo). I'm assuming (although it would be nice if I DIDN'T get banned from projectro channels :P) but I'm sure I will never be no pRO channels again so that is why I put my IRC channel. I will also probably take somewhat of a break from GMing but I would hope to make myself useful for a cause later.
It's been great being here and I still and will forever have much love for the true Sakray. The sakray built by Ravegrunt. The sakray built by der. And finally, the Sakray that could have been.

Phoe, safety wall would be hugely useful if you're gonna continue availing yourself to my mad crazy pulling skills... both for you and for me.
To everyone: Zero and I are going to be looking into some possible other servers to migrate to should Sakray continue its slide... I've gotten a few possible leads to servers like how Sakray used to be that I'll be looking into. Several are from things I heard from users I respect on Sakray...
But one thing is for certain, I don't want to go to a server with higher rates than Sakray. I think anything more accelerated than this is an utter mockery. I'd like something where I need to work to get stuff, and possibly have more events and even a storyline should I desire to get into something like that. Hell, Tae Kwon classes would be nice too.

Yeah. I was thinking that too. I'm better at leveling with Firewall though, so maybe I'll run firewall until I get to the 80s or so.

I've found a few (just grabbing 'em from the rankings right now) that are somewhat similar to Sakray. I'mma download the setup files and install these servers to find out what they're like also:

Yeah, I like things in the range of Sak. A lot slower and I'd probably get bored/frustrated and quit, but a lot faster and it'd just be silly. sweatdrop
Although I'd much prefer to stick it out if things don't get really bad. crying I really don't know how much I'd want to start over from scratch.

Same here, that's the main reason I picked some of the servers I did, almost identical to Sakray's rates. I'mma stick around (and I know the others will/might) Sakray just to see if it'll go down or not, ya know?

1 and 4 sound the best to me, with 2 mot sounding half bad... and I know that I and Atemu have been kinda interested in the TK classes. Hell, both even have decent sounding lowrate servers, something I like to do now and then just to keep myself relatively honest.
I really don't like the sound of 3... class fusion and mithril just sound kinda cheesy.
The amusing thing is that several of these seem to be fairly small servers... a dedicated effort on our part could possibly lead to our presence making an impact on the server itself...
Send me info about 1,2,and 4... maybe we can mess about on a few of them this week to get an idea how they are.

I'll go there too and I'll get Marni to when she gets her computer back. In the next few weeks though, no RO at all for me. I'm just gonna stick to Gaia cause I have a few tests and a midterm. x.x Good luck on those, Shouj. Kick some a** in the name of the Iron Fist. We'll keep you advised as to what we're up to. Maybe a better server will get you a bit more fired up about RO than you've been since we came back to it...
