Darky-Hitori: Thank you! <3 I adore your dress!
Hakutobi Matsumoto: I made it! ...with a lot of my Mommy's help XD It's based off of a bodyline dress I saw on Cosmates though ^^ I still need to get a petticoat for my dress, my Mom thinks she can make one as soon as I buy the stuff... -_-

Haha..xD;; But, I'm getting a new sewing machine for my birthday [Which is in a few days. April 8th. <3] and Maybe someday I'll be as good as you. <3 The blue looks really good on you, by the way.

Hakutobi Matsumoto Darky, Ohmigawd! I love that skirt, I've been wanting it in red with black lace for the longest time EVER. Is their quality really nice? Or so-so? -Might order from them after birthday money comes in.- <3 Well, they do two different types of material (which I have now forgotten the names of), and I decided to go for the cheaper and apparently not-so-good quality (the better quality is only a tiny bit higher in price) and I think the quality is really nice. It's not, like.. OHMYGODWOW. But it is very decent quality and totally worth it, it's a gorgeous outfit, very comfortable, fits perfectly and has a nice light-and-airy feel.

It's supposed to be double sided lace but the bottom keeps flipping up x.x My Mom sews wonderfully, without her I really wouldn't have finished. I'm always so grateful that she can sew when I sew stuff, because my stuff would be pretty pathetic without her help. ((and I should give my onee-chan credit too, she ripped stitches out for me when I did stuff wrong ^^; )) Thanks! My Dad said that I looked good in blue too ((and that I should never wear yellow again also...)) Happy early birthday! :3 Have fun with the sewing machine!

Darky: I was thinking about getting the nicer, thicker Poplin fabric, just to be on the safe side. And thanks. I'll most likely end up buying from them for my first Loli outfit. I cant' afford much else. <3
Nanie Chama: Lucky you with your mother and her magic sewing skillz. xD I'm sure a little bit of starch would fix the collar. I used starch to stiffen the brim of my mini-top hat I made. [Second one, actually. The first was given to friend..it was gorgeous..;---;]
Yellow is hard to wear when you have light skin. Darker skin tones usually look best in yellows and bright oranges. Maybe light pinks. [I look kinda weird in pink since I'm so pale..I could glow in the dark I'm so pale! XD]
But yeah, that dress is sooo pretty. And thanks <33. I have some really pretty fabric and I'm planning on making a Vintage Loli skirt and alice bow. n_n I don't know where to get a good pattern for it..

Is it hard? I want a mini-top hat! You're so lucky! I've got really light skin too. I've been told I look good in pink... but for a long time I was a tomboy and so I swore I would never wear pink... ^^; Though, I may have to start wearing it ^^

If you can find spray on starch, that's your best bet. n_n If you can only find the iron stuff, I'm not sure how difficult that'd be. Ooh, I was thinking about making an ebay shop or something when I become more expirianced in making them. Right now they're kinda crappy with some thin cardboard hidden on the inside for even more stiffness..but They're cute. n_n;; Perhaps when I get better and maybe sell some..I could make you one? They wouldn't be expensive. Hell, I could send you one for free. xD; I'm just that nice.
I was a really big tomboy-y 'Gothish' person too, but I always had a thing for frilly things, victorian-esque stuff and..Hello Kitty. Thats kind of why I like Loli. I can kind of keep my 'Gothness' while being frilly and cute~ >w< I don't wear pink much, but when I do, people says it looks nice with my dark hair. [I recently dyed it black again, since every blonde is now brunette at my school. I would have gone red, but I don't look good with red hair.. D: So blac kwas my best bet. XD;]

Being the horrid lolita I am I'm thinking "If she wants to sew dresses, I'll wear what she makes and not sew my own" XD You SHOULD sell them! Work on them and sell them ^^ What's wrong with cardboard inside? I mean, you need it to keep the shape, right? I hated frilly things, though my onee-chan and imouto-chan started to get me into Hello Kitty stuff. I have a few awesome Hello Kitty shirts upstairs in my room ^^ And then suddenly I saw lolita while in the cosplay forum in some's siggy and was like "I want to be like that!" My Mom would NEVER let me die my hair ((though I told her on New Year's that when I'm in college in 2 years I am going to get streaks bleached in and then make those either pink or purple, she had another gulp of champaine after that)). You're so lucky! I bet you look good with black hair! ^^ Seems like brunette is the "in" color everywhere, I see everyone blond going brunette lately...

Maybe I'd buy something? xD Once I improve, I'll think about it. I've also thought about making some cute headdresses and other things.
Frilly was something I was content with as long as I didn't look like I just got spit up by a large, lacey cupcake. D: If..you get what I mean. XD Ooh? College? Wow. I'm going into high school after this year. Yaaay~ninth grade. xD I'll be a freshman, and a freakily dressed freshman if that. My mom lets me dye my hair, but most of the time shes like 'I'm not a hair stylist! I'm a photographer!' People say I look like I have natural black hair. I guess I just look good with dark hair with my fair complexion or whatever. xD;

Hehe... At my school, since I started dressing Lolita to school, this one guy who is very fashion-involved started wearing petticoats under skirts. He also got a hairstyle akin to my hime-cut hair. Even though I don't know him, it made me smile. And then, after that, a few other people got their hair cut... blunt across bangs and blunt side bangs. Even though they have no idea where the hairstyle came from, I'm glad to see Lolita beginning to infect my school's fashion sense.. *laughs* Also, my AP Environment teacher once commented on an outfit of mine. She then told me it reminded her of an outfit she'd seen in the Style section of the newspaper. So, when I went home, I opened the paper to see the photograph, and there was this model in the coolest white Aristocrat/Lolita-looking outfit! heart

There are a few strangely dressed kids in high school here, but most of them are in the 'emo scene' thing. =[ Wow, a guy? Thats cool. I'm getting my hair cut soon. Its just..theres just too much of it! >.< It's gonna be shoulder length, razor layered, but I'm going to get Hime-style side bangs. It's gonna contrast..xD;
No one even knows about Lolita around here.. Except Michael. He's a guy that works at the library..in my town. And he's into Lolita. Looks a lot like a girl. xD <3 Anyway. I didn't know that I knew him! Rather, My older sister and her friend knew him and hung out with him. I fell over, out of my chair and onto the floor when I heard that. Wow..ranty. xD;

I do not own anything Lolita as of yet, so I guess that this picture is the best that I can do currently. It is a terrible picture, but for some reason I like it.

Try not to be too scared. I have plucked my eyebrows into shape since then, so I do not look as bad as I did.
