I hate people... Especially the rude and thoughtless people... Just thought I would throw that out there. I'm sure a bunch of you agree.

I hate the ones who crush your dreams, because they're "stupid"...and the ones who discount your opinion because you're "too young/inexperienced/silly" to form one. I look about 7 years younger than I really am, so I get people thinking I'm a vapid teenager a lot >.<;

I do love arthopods though biggrin Entomology was always my favourite aspect of zoology...I love them from the tip of thier head (or cephalothorax), to the tip of their abdomen smile
I'm especially fascinated by parasitic arthropods...like that paralysis tick that lives over there **points at Australia**

Actually I just love animals in general, whatever their morphology, or living arrangements (yes, even cestodes and nematodes have a place in my heart...though not literally >.> wink .

I hate people who follow the crowd. And I hate people who prey on the ignorant.

And I really hate people who censor information. Not the "for national security" type information. I mean the type of people who give me weird looks when I read "Deadly Doses: A Writer's Guide to Poisons." Because all they see is "poisons" they assume that I'm going to poison someone. Hello! "WRITER'S GUIDE" I'm a writer. Not someone who spikes the coolaid! stressed

Oh that sounds like an interesting book =^_^=

The media really pisses me off with all the censoring and manipulating they do... They make certain people out to be bad guys and the good guys are the ones who people are spitting on. Like our military. All they have done is serve the country you live in and protect you. Yes this war does seem uncalled for, but let them stop fighting and let the war come on to our soil. Then what would those people be doing? Cowering in fear praying for someone to save them...

That book does sound interesting!
Agreed, I can't stand the media. I just love (being sarcastic here) how if they don't have any real news they come up with random stories. I remember one summer when I was living in NC, they came up with this news story of how swimming in the ocean is dangerous because of sharks. Not like we had a shark attack or anything, in fact it was extremely rare where I lived to have attacks, it was just the media stirring up trouble.
Okay so that is kindof a poor example, but still!

Actually, that's a pretty standard example of how the media pulls strings. "Nothing's happening around here, so let's create a shark-hate sensation, and maybe some dumb fisherman will try to wrangle a bull shark and loose his hand. Then we'll really have news." Every time I see a movie where a reporter says "The world has a right to know ___________" I want to scream back, "NO, THEY DON'T!"

I get American news from the CBC, World news from the BBC, and local news from the gossips across the courtyard.

And by the way, "Deadly Doses" is a great reference book. It mostly deals with single-dose poisons that work in under 48 hours, not binary or progressive poisons, but it's still interesting. It talks about chemicals found in the home, natural bug and reptile poisons, drugs, and the old standards like arsenic, cyanide, and strychnine.

Lame. They're probably going to make you back up against a curb using only your side view mirror to see what your doing.

Actually, last time the instructor set up cones and we practiced the actual maneuverability test. Well, the left turn part, at least. Today's the right-turn part.

I guess you're taking that Drivers Ed class you have to pay for?
PostPosted: Wed Aug 04, 2010 5:14 pm

卍 一は全、

Yes and no. I don't have to go to any of the classes (benefit of being 18.), but I paid for 8 hrs of driving with an instructor. Today was hours 5 and 6.
And now I'm pretty much perfect at maneuverability.

And do you know what spiders fear? House centipedes. They eat spiders, ants, silverfish, etc..

There used to be a house centipede that lived under my TV stand; every night he'd run from one end of the room to the the other. I haven't seen him in months though.... [/rambling]

*EDIT* Saw one 10 minutes ago. It ran under my bed.... eek

I can't remember the price.... (Actually, my grandfather paid for it)
We had to pay in advance.... sweatdrop The driving school doesn't have fixed prices for adults... and I'm not sure if we chose the teen option (which is $400).

Right. I don't have my license. 3nodding That's why I'm taking these lessons. I practiced maneuverability for an hour and a half today. ninja
