Ringo and Kana let out a flurry of arrows and bullets at Nyx.
Nyx closed his eyes and took all the hits and fell to the ground heavily. "Good. Its hard to dodge in midair, and my wings do not allow me to fly. Even if they did, your ranged attacks would have pierced them and made them useless." He raised a hand at the group. "Inferno!" A giant wave of fire shot out at them.

Devon summoned Serion. "Ice Pillar." He ordered. The hydra hissed, a spikes of ice erupted from the ground in front of the group.

The fire and ice were destroyed from the hit.
Nyx struggled to its knees, making it only a foot taller than Kai and Devon. "Very resourceful, using offense as defense." He stiffened, then jumped again as Yamato appeared behind him and slashed.

Kana and Ringo giggled. "We've got you now!" They let out another barrage, knocking Nyx back down.
Nyx's wings glowed and turned light purple. As Nyx rose, it spoke.

Kai lifted his hand and pressed the button. "Comon Devon, they taught us about this one last night. Instinct. That must be the priestess!" He looked at the reading. "Right on target! Devon, your Ice attacks won't do anything. Hmm...Ringo, switch with Teddie, Teddie, same thing, Ice won't work."
