Taki smiled at Rei and his explanation. Kia would be proud of them....
"That sounds like Mariah. So, how many people do we have, anyways? ANd i suppose you wouldn't happen to know hwen you're actually going to be starting anything."

Ralef nodded, satisfied with everything working. "Heh, Keiji said he'd be back this afternoon, i think that gives me a good 5 hours." he scratched his chin thinking. "I should have everything i need by then." He turned on his heel and walked back over to the papers he was studying earlier.

Rei shook his head. "I don't know any of that. I'm just the guy who actually gets the information." He explained, skirting around the issue of how he got his info. "I pass it on to Kev and then he tells the people who need to know." Rei shrugged. "Mariah is in on the big plans and stuff so you might want to talk to her if you want to know more. I know that our numbers are growing every day and that they are planning something soon before whatever's going down with Kai happens."
Fayina blinked. "How do you know Kai?" She asked, interested.
Rei blinked and blushed. "Sorry. I was going into my lecture mode." He apologised. "I shouldn't be trying to overload you both with information." He smiled and looked over at Fayina. "I have my connections." He told her mysteriously.
He sighed and lay down on Taki's bed, enjoying the softness of it. "So? What's been up with you?"

Taki nodded. He was deffinitely cornering Mariah later and questioning her.
Taki shrugged. "Oh, you know, the usual, get sent out on a mission, capture Kai, bring him back and subject him to torture while finding out i actually do have a conscience in the process."
He gave Rei a lopsidded grin. "It's an interesting life here, " he said sarcastically. "And are you enjoying lying all over my bed?" He raised his eyebrows, teasing Rei.

"You do have a conscience, Taki?" Rei asked, amused. "This is the first I've heard of it." He teased. "Does that mean you have a heart in there too? Maybe even some courage?"
"I'm sure if he doesn't he can just follow the yellow brick road." Fayina chimed in, making Rei smirk and look over at her. "How old are you?" He asked.
"I'm 17 today." She told him.
Rei raised his eyebrows and nodded. "Happy birthday then." He told her. "Does that mean you're one of those kids who do all of Biovolt's dirty work?" He asked.
Fayina nodded. "That would be me."
"That sucks." Rei commiserated. He then looked up at Taki. "I'm tired, so sue me." He complained.

"Watch it Rei, i might just do that," Taki smirked.
He sighed and rested his chin on his hand. He though for a moment before remembering what Rei said. He sat up and sent a glare over to the neko-jin. "I do so have a heart, thankyou very much." He turned back around and mumbled to himself.
((and i think now would be a good time to skip a few hours, get Kai away from Ralef and put those other 3 on the plane 3nodding unless you have more plans that it...))

A Few Hours later- give or take
Kai sighed in relief as the machine was finally turned off. He looked out of his tube in confusion. He could have sworn he was in a chair...
Kai saw on of the scariest images he had ever seen. Himself, in a chair with needles sticking out of him like he was a pin cushion. He hit the side of the tube, surprised at the new strength in his arms.
Does this mean I'm Sacha? He wondered as he looked down at his unfamiliar body, frowning.

Brooklyn smiled as he came within sight of the airport. It had taken some pretty creative lying to convince Garland that he was packing for a legitimate reason.
He still couldn't quite figure out how Garland had bought that he was packing heavy winter clothing for a trip to the beach.
~
Rei grinned as he walked through the halls. It was always good speaking to Taki. He had come to see the commander as his pseudo older brother. He had missed the calming effect that Taki produced on him and everyone that came within the Russian's vicinity.
He had even managed to skirt around the issue of what he actually did to help the resistance.
He knew that Taki wouldn't approve.

((*gets all fuzzy and proud like a parent* ah, Taki has a great effect on people...))
Taki leant on his door frame and looked over at Fayina. "I'm going to assume you want to stay here while i go and find Kai, hmm?"

Bryan looked up at the dark sky and groaned. God, how long until we get to the airport?
He and Tala had come together, and it wasn't that Bryan wasn't unhappy that the red head was talking to him without glaring but he really wouldn't shutup about some things.
"Now icing, that's a hard part of the cake. You have to get it just right..." Tala eplained.
"Perfectionist," Bryan muttered.
Tala rolled his eyes at the other Russian. "Hey, look we're nearly there."
Bryan looked up and saw the airport. Oh, thank god...

Ralef stood and smirked at his handy work. "So, how do you feel Kai?"
The other doctors milled around, opening the tube, pulling out the many wires and checking over papers.

Kai flinched as the wires were pulled out. "Ouch." He muttered. He continued to look at his other self in the chair. "Am I ok?" He asked, indicating to the chaired Kai. "I don't look ok." He remembered that he had to somehow stay strong in front of Ralef. At least Taki's coming for me. He frowned no he's coming for the other me he remembered, getting extremely confused.

Brooklyn reached the airport and walked inside the building, looking around for Tala and Bryan and also for the mysterious person who would help them.
At least he hoped she would help them.

Fayina nodded. "I don't want to see it." She said firmly. "I don't think I can." She told Taki quietly. "Is it ok if I just stay here while you pick up Kai?" She asked.

Rei's burst of happiness lasted about until he opened up the door of his rooms.
"Where've you been?" A voice asked from inside.
Rei turned on the light to reveal Balcov siting in on of the comfortable chairs in the room looking rather contemplative.
He gave Balcov a small smile. "Commander Keiji came back yesterday, remember? You told me? I wanted to go and say hi to him." He explained easily.

Taki nodded and closed his door gently. He turned around and made his way towards the labs.

The airport was almost completley deserted. A few stray passengers or workers floating around but that was it, making it very easy to spot the orange haired new comer.
A tall man in a dark suit walked over to Brooklyn. "I'm assuming you are one of the persons trying to rescue a friend from Russia?" he asked.
Tala and Bryan walked into the airport at that moment. Bryan spotted Brooklyn first and dragged the red head over to the two.
The man looked them over. "And i gues you're the other two. This way then" He turned and led them towards the doors to the tarmac.

Ralef looked over at the 'real' Kai. He turned back and waved his hand. "yes, yes. He's fine. Passed out an hour or so ago. i'm surprised he lasted that long."
"Who passed out now, Ralef?"
Ralef turned around and narrowed his eyes at the new comer. "Oh look, it's Keiji."
Taki sent him a glare back and walked over to Kai, he narrowed his eyes more. "I hope that Kai is only passed out and not injured in anyway, Doctor, otherwise i won't hesitate to carry out my threat."
Ralef subconsciously rubbed his throat. "He's alive Keiji."
"Good," Taki said and went to pick Kai up, slinging one of Kai's arms around his shoulder.
"How do you know i'm finished with him?" snapped Ralef.
"You are done with him, Ralef," Taki snapped back, getting into a comfortable position so that he could carry Kai all the way back to his room.

The Kai in Sacha's body frowned as Taki walked right past him. He had already figured out that something like that would happen but it didn't make it any less painful. Why did the other Kai get to be looked after but not him?
He bit his lip, determined not to say anything to Taki. He didn't want to not be recognised.
Maybe that plastic surgery won't be a bad thing
~
Brooklyn blinked as the man started talking to him. Where was the girl from earlier that day? He smiled briefly as Bryan and Tala showed up and looked back to the man, listening to what he had to say intently.
When he began to walk Brooklyn followed him, saying back to talk to his friends. "So you both got out ok?" He asked quietly. "Is Kisa with that lady?"

Balcov nodded. "I thought it might have been something like that." He said quietly. "How is he?"
Rei smiled and nodded. "He's great! I think that the mission you sent him on was good for him."
Boris nodded and stood up. "I'm glad. It wasn't doing anyone any good when he was just moping around here."
Rei smiled and nodded. "Would you like something to eat?", he asked, moving to the fridge Boris had had specially installed for him. "I've got some cookies in here." He said as he began to search for them.
Boris frowned. "You keep cookies in the fridge?" He asked.

Bryan nodded to Brooklyn but Tala jumped in before he could say anything. "And she's having a bucket load of fun with all the cats."
Bryan mock glared at Tala but shrugged. "Yer, what he said."
Tala mumbled to himself, "I can't believe you wouldn't let her near wolborg though..."
Bryan raised an eyebrow. "Can't believe? Tha things a head or so taller than me on it's hindlegs!"
"It's a he," Tala corrected him. Bryan rolled his eyes and followed the man silently after that. He lead them outside and over to a waiting plane nearby. He stopped at the bottom of the steps and waited for them.
"Quickly now, you're being waited for." He motioned up the stairs. "Oh and happy flying by the way." He gave them a half grin.

Taki half lifted, half dragged Kai out of the labs and into the hallway ignoring the glare Ralef was aiming at his back.
He looked over at Kai and frowned. Now would be a nice time to wake up...
~
Ralef snorted and turned back to other Kai. He raised an eyebrow at the other. "You can come out of there y'know."

Kai stepped out of his tube, deigning to say nothing to Ralef. He couldn't believe that what the madman had wanted to do really had worked. It felt so...wrong
~
Kai stirred as Taki began to walk with him. "Nrhn?" He asked as he struggled back into the world of consciousness. "Taki?" He asked, recognising his friend.
~
Brooklyn smiled back at the man. "Thanks." He said before he walked up the stairs quickly. He looked around the interior of the plane, trying to see if anyone apart from himself was in there. We're actually going to find Kai. He though, slightly weirded out.
~
Rei nodded and handed Boris a cookie. "It makes sure that the chocolate doesn't melt." He told the Russian matter of factly before biting into one of his own cookies. "That, and cold cookies taste that much nicer."

Tala bounded up the stairs after Brooklyn and peered over his shoulder. Bryan nodded to the man and followed the other two up. After he and Tala had walked inside the plane, another guy closed the door after them before working back into the c**k pit.
"Hello boys, isee you made it." The girl from earlier on walked up from the back of the plane, still with the sunglasses on. "Take a seat guys, we need to leave pretty quickly."
The planes engines started up.

Taki blinked and gave Kai a small smile. "Hey there, how're you feeling?" he asked quietly. "We should be at my room soon, i think you may want to sleep that off."
~
Ralef nodded at the other doctors and walked over to another door.
The blonde nurse walked up to the copied Kai and lead him after Ralef.

Sacha-Kai looked at the nurse and smiled in recognition. "Hi." He said quietly as he began to follow her after Ralef. At least some things are familiar He thought, sighing.

Kai nodded slowly as he allowed Taki to half carry him. He really didn't have the strength to walk anymore. "Do you know what happened to Sacha?" He asked, looking at Taki curiously. "The last thing I can remember if his is he was in that tube thing and had passed out."

Brooklyn smiled at the girl. "I had a feeling you'd be here." He said taking a seat and beckoning Bryan to come and sit with him. "Are you going to tell us about what's going on?" He asked, twisting around in his seat to face the girl. "Or at least who you are?"
Brooklyn's eyes widened as the plane started up. "You weren't kidding about leaving quickly." He said as he buckled up his seatbelt quickly

Boris took a bite of it and smirked. "They do to." He said eating the rest of his cookie in one bite."
"So how was your day?" Rei asked casually, giving Boris another cookie and moving to sit down on his bed.
Boris joined him and lay down, his legs still on the floor. "It was ok." He said shortly. "I just heard that the assimilation of #1096 was completed successfully." He smirked to himself. "That means that we're just that much closer to our goal."

The girl smirked. "We have a long way to go, and time is running out, unfortunately."
Bryan took the seat next to Brooklyn and twisted around to face the girl, eyeing her warily. The raised an eyebrow at him. "No need to give me that look Bryan, i'm not going to do anything."
Bryan blinked. "How...?"
"I spent a long time in a plane with your sister, i know who you are." She smirked, "I know a few of your secrets too..." Bryan narrowed his eyes at her and turned back around.
Tala sat accross the aisle from the girl and buckled up. "So are you going to tell us who you are now?" he asked.
The girl blinked over at him. "Oh, of course, i'm so forgettful." She pulled of her sunglasses, revealing aquamarine eyes. "Kiana Kiska, but you can just call me Kia. And the sunglasses are so no one recognises me, by the way. I do know its nearly midnight."

Taki stopped walking. "There is no Sacha, Kai," he said quietly before continuing to walk.
~
The nurse nodded at Sacha-Kai and continued to lead him after Ralef. "You'll start the plastic surgery proceedure tommorrow, lucky for you, you get to rest for now."
