Kazu found his way a lot through the forest; it was a lot easier than last time. Perhaps it was just by traveling through the forest before that Kazu had gotten experience. Kazu's mind was still on the new Kazekage; primarily because of the mission he had undertaken just before the man had taken over Tanto's postion. "...I wonder what the new Kazekage is up to," he muttered to himself as he passed through the dense forest. Kazu was following a dirt path that he had followed before; he was certain it led to the desert and then Kazu would certainly be homeward bound. After a small break of water and soldier pills, Kazu started to walk on the dirt path. As time passed, Kazu noticed something in the distance. Kazu ran excitedly as soon as he saw a slight glimmer in the distance. Indeed, as Kazu came to a stop, on the very edge of the forest, Kazu stood before the endless sea of sand that was the desert. Not wasting any time, Kazu ran off into it, headed for home.

Creeeeeeek Was the sound the door made as Seika slowly opened it, peeking her head out into the outside world. She squinted at the light and shielded her eyes for a moment. Apparently it was day time.

'Weeeeeellll this was a new one.' Seika thought with a small grunt as she stepped out of the safe house and started to inspect the area around her. She recognized the climate and assumed she was back in the Land of Lightning. Wait what? HOW?! The Otokage certainly knew how to mess with somebodies head. She decided to let this mystery go for now and focus on finding Yuzuki. This mission isn't going to be a walk in the park. We're talking about three items that belonged to the Raikage. Granted this was Yuzuki's mission, but it was her job to make sure she got the items.

Or go back to the Otokage and die.

Seika let a heavy sigh escape her lips and she pulled her mask down to her neck. She wasn't quite sure where to start looking for Yuzuki. Just as she started walking off, she heard a loud mewing noise. She flinched at the sound and recognized it as Ami's mew.

"Now you show up, you little s**t. You disappeared pretty quickly when it started raining." Seika complained as she glanced down in annoyance at her companion, setting a hand on her hip. Ami simply brushed off Seika's comment and began grooming herself. It was obvious that whatever Seika had to say was not important enough to interrupt her grooming session.

"She's not far, you know."
The cat muffled with a mouth full of fur as she continued to groom herself. Seika's eye twitched at the sight, but let it go after hearing the semi relieving news.

"Then lead the way, fuzz-bag. I'm on a tight schedule."
She grumbled in response and started tapping her foot against the soft soil. Why did her companion have to make everything so difficult?

I'm one Nightmare...
~*Yuzuki*~

Shadow clones. They were one of the major tools in most strategic minded ninja, it had a number of advantages that she was going to be able to capitalize on. The real trouble was making the copy into an actual clone, Yuzuki closed her eyes and concentrated her chakra, trying to figure out how to make those clones solid. She began to manipulate the chakra around herself she began to weave it into a regular clone, she kept her influence with her chakra for now, she tried to create something solid from inside a clone already. With her chakra she began to make her mimic a solid copy of itself… or at least try to. Being a genjutsuist, she was able to create some pretty good detail, and she was using that knowledge to weave a skeletal structure, organs, muscles and tendons, the outer shell was the same as her, being a clone and all. However, this was a pain in the a**, and it was going far too slow for her liking, she could do this for every single shadow clone that she wanted. It was not only improbable but it was rather unrealistic. She could be killed in the amount of time that it took in order for her to knit the internal organs and tissues of her clones so there was no way that she could use this technique in battle, at least not how she was doing it. She abandoned that practice and went to try and make something a little more… convenient for her on the use of the shadow clones. She closed her eyes and concentrated on what and how she was going to add solidity to her clones. She tried to divide her chakra in half at once. But this was not as easy as what many of the jounin seemed to make it. She continued to play with various ways that she could create her clones with some solidity so that she could use in more than one way and actually have them dangerous. She started to concentrate on dividing her chakra as evenly as she could and was willing to try and let the chakra itself shape into her form, she focused but didn’t get very far without her body resisting what she was trying to do. It was one of the body natural defences that would prevent the body from harming itself. Which meant that she was doing something very wrong when she was trying to make her shadow clones. After a short pondering she made the hand signs once more to make one of the most well known ninja tactics that she could think of.

Yuzuki once more tried to divide her chakra in half to create the clone that she was going for, she started to slowly pull her chakra from her body and then give it form once more. As the chakra was pulled and shaped, the form of another Yuzuki started to pull itself freakishly from Yuzuki’s original shape. While the chakra was given a human resemblance it gave off the appearance of her flesh pulling and stretching to make the new being that was being moulded. As through she was literally pulling another clone of herself from her own flesh and blood. Certainly not the case but if she could see it, the image would amuse her. There was a wet suckling sound and a slight growling as the clone pulled itself into existence. As the clone freed her arm a slick looking substance trailed behind it before it stretched itself thin and pulled apart, the arm absorbed the residual chakra. A leg pulled itself from Yuzuki’s body and the clones head became its own separate entity. She looked like a Siamese twin from hell as the clone and Yuzuki continued to separate from itself, the chakra weaved and knitted a continuation of the clothes that mimicked what Yuzuki was wearing. The clones sclera was black, her iris’ were the colour that the original possessed. The more that the clone separated from the original the more the sclera of her eyes took on the whiteness that it was supposed to be. The clones hair was white at first, but once more started to take on the originals colouration the more it separated from her. Eventually the clone fully pulled herself into existence, thought the inexperienced process was exhausting for the both of them and the clone pretty well collapsed on the ground and fought for breath, the original Yuzuki wasn’t that well off either and she let gravity take its course and found her way into a sitting position. Sweat beaded from her brow and she closed her eyes. There was an easier way, there had to be… nobody she saw use this was as out of breath as she was now and it was a little frustrating knowing that she was once again falling behind her peers. Yuzuki hissed through her teeth and reflected on what she was doing wrong so that she could correct it. Granted, she had successfully created a clone, and it was operational -out of breath- but operational. She appeared solid, she cast a shadow and displaced the grass under her. What was she doing wrong? Was it that she just needed to do it faster? Or was it something else? She wished that she had someone to actually ask advice on this. Maybe if she played her cards right she could ask Chiyu for some pointers on it, he used it enough when he actually had to do some work. She closed her eyes and meditated on what she did while she was collecting her breath, her clone was resting against the tree and trying to hold her form together. Lets see… she needed to work on the speed and proper division of her clone. Once she got those done she was sure that she could create the clones with little difficulty, she could try for one more clone and probably her clone could create one more of itself as well. It would be a strain but she could do so. She closed her eyes and leaned her head against the tree, she would take breather for a moment and then try again.

...you won't wake up from.

Ami or...Neko-chan had been leading Seika around for a pretty long time and it seemed like they'd been going in circles. "Ami, do you even know where you're going?" Seika asked with a raised brow and crossed her arms impatiently as she strode along.

Ami responded with a small twitch of her tail and continued on without saying a word. Ah, the silent treatment.

After a few moments of awkward silence the feline finally paused and sat on it's haunches. It's slit eyes looked on in a certain direction, indicating that Yuzuki was very close. Just over the brush, in fact.

Seika nodded to her companion and stepped over it's ridiculously small figure. A few moments of lurking in the direction the cat directed her to, and Yuzuki was in her sight. 'Finally.' Though Seika didn't approach her. No....she leaned lightly against a rather large tree and waited patiently for Yuzuki to notice she was stalking watching her. Wouldn't want to disturb her training, now would we?

Traveling back wasn't so bad. What sucked about it was traveling alone. She knew her way back just from knowing where she had been, but she felt... Somewhat uneasy heading back knowing she had much to report to her kage... Oh boy... At least it was good news, though... That they'd at least be doing something about it if they just delayed waging war and such... She could already hear her brothers laughing at her misfortune. Never in her life had they been so compassionate, so sympathetic, that they would go out of their way just to comfort her or say 'sorry'. The Madaraki way of it was to just 'come to terms' with one's own issue and let it root another problem in the near future. Sure, they were pretty nice folks and everything, but they weren't really much for talking out personal problems...

She then looked down at her feet and sighed; she looked forward to training when she got home. Perhaps putting that book she got from... Th-That garage sale to good use. She wanted to learn more attacks with her hair aside from just turning her hair into fists and feet... Maybe she could grow her hair as a sheild next time and harden it... That'd be cool...

She wondered if that book had something like that...

"... You are all I longed for, all I worship and adore~!"

I'm one Nightmare...
~*Yuzuki*~

While catching her second wind Yuzuki was trying to thing of the best way to finish up her clone technique, she acknowledged in her mind that Seika was there, but she made no movements to let her knew that she knew of the girls presence. She wanted to finish this first before the girl approached her about news and… why she was there in the first place and the girl was being nice enough to allow her to do so. Yuzuki closed her eyes for a moment and gathered her thoughts, calming the frustration in her chakra that was creeping into her once more. Odd how her chakra was calm in battle, but easily stirred outside of it. Yuzuki eventually stood up with her eyes still closed, she could try this in at a different angle and hopefully figure out what she was doing wrong to exhaust herself so much and how to not let her energy be sapped like that. Yuzuki took a few breaths before making her hand signs once more to gather and focus her chakra into what was needed to create another Yuzuki. This time, instead of directly linking it to her body like she did the pervious one, she extended the chakra to her shadow, letting that be her anchoring medium in order to get the result that she wanted. Dividing her remaining chakra evenly she poured the spiritual energy into her shadow that was at her feet. The shadow defied physics and divided itself off to make another length of shadow that moved to defy the light, still attached to the base of Yuzuki’s feet, there was a shifting and rippling of the shadow before a hand burst threw the oddly tar-like shadow, the pale, moonlight arm dripped with at thick blackish substance, its fingers flexing before the arm bent to and the palm landed heavily down on the ground, the chakra infused shadow creating small tentacles that started to grab and caress the hand of the new clone that was pulling itself into existence. A shoulder soon formed and then the crown of a head immerged, the ghostly skin continued on as small trickles of darkness rolled off and arching back as the final hand levelled off and helped pull itself out of the withering darkness of the shadow that it was being born from. The birthing Yuzuki clone looked up at Seika with black sclera and Yuzuki’s mismatched pattern of eyes. As more of itself was being pulled up and out of the shadow the darkness from where it was from crawled up and around her body, gently grabbing and caressing her exposed flesh before the clone could expose anything too much to the peaking girl in the bushes. The clone finally pulled itself out of the shadow and found it’s feet with eerie slowness, and though it was so confident in itself that Seika’s presence mattered little to her. Once out of the shadow, the extension of the originals shadow became the new clones, and the skin and coloration crawled up her body and wove itself into its existence. The clone shook her head from side to side to further free her hair and let it flow around her. She looked over at Seika and placed a hand on her hip, shifting her weight to one leg to create and alluring pose to the little stalker that was in the brushes.

The other copy of Yuzuki that was first created by her had stood up at this point and was making her own hand signs, she too ignored Seika and concentrated on perfecting the jutsu, it was something that the original was still slightly winded with after performing, she was still functional but it was something that was still needing some slight tweaking, so the first spawned clone took some charge. She liked the idea of the shadow, the original seemed to be onto something there. The clone channelled her chakra into her shadow as well as she made the hand signs in order to get one more clone out of the equation, her own shadow flickered for a moment before a second shadow came and divided off from her original one. The darkness of the shadow broke off from the first clone-spawn band pool not far off, from the inky depths of the puddle that formed a crowing of blue hair exactly like Yuzuki’s started to levitate out. As this clone came out she had her full colouration of the original Yuzuki that they were reproducing. The theory was that if it was brought out all at once, colouration and all, that it would use up less energy that actually focusing on one majority of the ‘sculpture’ then focusing on the finer details afterwards. This way was doing everything at once and not worrying about adding on later, she assumed that this was the missing link that made things so tiring for the creator. As more of the Yuzuki clone was raised from her inky submerging, there was less difference between her and the original that she was based off of, every strand of hair, every thread of her clothing was right where it should be and as the clone came to a stop, her arms uncrossing from over her chest she opened her eyes to reveal the same ruthless glint that was in them. While the other Yuzuki’s had their own levels of bloodlust and insanity within their eyes, this one was more… complete. The original and the first spawn gave a satisfied look at the newest of the shadow clones, but the one clone that had its sights on Seika didn’t move, the face under her mask betrayed no emotion as it was trying to decide if this girl was here to be a hindrance or a threat to them. The other three seemed to join together and put their heads together to learn the final secret that they had been lacking in order to create a perfect copy of the original and still make it quick. Once Yuzuki was satisfied with the result she closed her eyes and let herself lean against the tree to give herself a rest.
"I know that the Otokage is still unsure of my intention and my capabilities... but I was hoping to get the benefit of the doubt and at least have a chance to prove myself to him alone... unless your hear for another reason, Seika-chan? Maybe you can't get enough of me and requested to come along so that we might have some... alone time together, hmm?"
There was some dark chuckling from two of the other clones while the second of Yuzuki's original clones that she herself created looked as though she was amused and pleased with the idea. "Care to join me while I try and figure out how to learn Fire style Jutsu?"

...you won't wake up from.

Boring... So bored... She even began to play with her hair as she walked through the forest with a bland expression on her face. As much as she wanted to take a nap, this place was... Rather uncomfortable for her. She then looked down at her feet and sighed as she massaged her neck and let out a groan; she didn't want to nap when she got home. She wanted to train... But traveling was exhausting, especially when your weren't dressed for it.

She could always climb a tree and jump her way over there, but then again, Shiso was afraid of heights; being high up made her sick to her stomach, and the thought of falling frightened her to no end. Shiso then looked at her elbow blades and began spinning them around expertly, side to side, up and down, all in a rhythmatic motion as she breathed evenly with the swish of the blades and smiled, "If you're thinkin' youuu're too cool to boogie~! Boy oh boy, have I got news for youuuu~! Everybody here tonight must boogie! Lemme tell you, you are no exception to the rule!"

Singing made things a little bit better for Shiso as she continued to move her elbow blades horizontally and vertically in bird-like movements, "Get on up on the flooor~! 'Cause we're gonna boogie oogie oogie 'till you JUST can't boogie no more~! Boogie! Boogie no more~! You can't boogie no more! Boogie! Boogie no more..." sang Shiso as she began to dance and do front aerials while moving her hips and legs to the rhythm of the song in her head, "Listen to the music~!"

Seika's eyebrow quirked as Yuzuki spoke to her. It wasn't hard to tell that she was pissed about this whole scenario. Yuzuki's words were just an extra kick in the face. Now, more than ever....she wanted to break somebodies neck. Maybe she'd lay a few hands on one of Yuzuki's shadow clones... "Unfortunately I'm stuck with you until you obtain those three items." Seika said blandly with a shrug. As if trying to sweep her words aside.

Yuzuki's advances really seemed to bother Seika. Even if it was just a game, it was awkward and irritating to her. She once believed in something like love, friendship and kindness but that was beat out of her. All it took was one audience with the Otokage. Ah...memories.

Letting out a long sigh, she calmly reached down and pulled a few papers from the lip of her boot and tossed them on the ground over where Yuzuki was leaning. It seems Seika was going to take her up on the offer. Though she wasn't going to say it herself.

"Fire is an element of power. It's easier to learn for those who feel strongly about something. In your case, think of the person you hate the most or something that just grinds your gears. Think about setting them on fire.." Seika explained and made a small pointing gesture towards the stack of chakra papers that lie on the ground. "You'll know when you have the element down when that paper turns to ash...just keep focusing your chakra into those papers." It was very odd for Seika of all people, to volunteer her own help or even her own advise. Then again...Yuzuki was practically a fellow Sound nin. Seika would want to enable her to finish this mission with little problems, even if it means helping her with the small things.

Seika's life depended on it.

User Image A expected Kazin quickly caught up with the head strong ninja. He was still grinning as they bolted through the forest. Like always, Kazin was a little higher up than the rest, as he wanted to be able to spot anyone before they got too close. He wasn't really a sensor ninja, but his Byakugan had really helped him out in quite a few situations. As soon as he got within earshot, he spoke to both of the genin.

"You know it's reckless to go off on your own during a time of unrest." Kazin gave them a caring, smile to show that he wasn't lecturing, just being informal. He dashed ahead a little bit to extend his range in front of them, and kept a steady pace.

One thing that Kazin was curious about was what Aigyou was capable of. He knew she was obviously a Taijutsu specialist, but he wasn't sure of where she stood in a group of ninja like themselves. From what he could tell so far, for the exception of Script, the three of them were all Tai. Kazin gave another chuckle, and kept his eyes straight ahead.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 14, 2011 8:06 am

Kurou's friendly gesture really hit home with Script. 'Maybe this is exactly what I needed.' He thought as he sped through the forest beside of Kurou. "Yeah, but where is the fun in that?!" Script called up to Kazin. As Script moved through the trees Haruki clung to his hair for dear life.

Script laughed as Haruki spoke, "Script! I'm gonna fall! GET ME TO THE POUCH!!!!" Script laughed and stopped for a second on the next branch to let Haruki scurry down into his tool pouch. Haruki poked his head up out of the pouch and pointed forward, "Onward to the leaf!" He squeaked. Script shook his head as he laughed at his amazing best friend and hurried back up to the rest of the squad.

Whil watching Kazin take the lead and give his friendly warning, Kurou smirked. He hadn't meant to run so far off into the woods. He had only wanted to get Script motivated but became a little too excited himself.

"Me and dad used to travel around by ourselves in the woods throughout the ninja countries. I'll be alright Kazin-sempai." He winked at the young leader. Kurou was glossing over things a bit but more wanted some friendly banter. "Though I must admit, we never traveled through the trees quite like this. I'm used to the trade routes."

He glanced back at his younger teammate who was catching up to them. "Hey Script, you ever been outside the Cloud Village before?"

Yuzuki took up the paper that was at her feet and took a few for later, she wanted to get this over with so that she could get a move on and set off on her own goals. She looked at Seika and tossed her the remaining chakra paper. She had a frown on her face as she tried to get things moving in her mind. She was going through the ideas and stratagies in her mind but there was so many things that could go wrong. Yuzuki looked over at Seika and stood up with a stretch. "I don't know how much support your suppose to give me or not, but I think that I may have an few ideas of how to get those items from the Raikage... granted there are a lot of things that could go wrong and there is a huge unknown for me if we have to go toe to toe with him. But we should be going and try and arrive there soon so that we can get this over with." She got herself into a tree and her clones followed suit. Her eyes narrowed and she looked down at Seika. "I have a few ideas: We can set up a number of explosion tags in the residental and hospital area, make the bombtags complicated and tedious when trying to remove them so that Jounin and Chunin are too occupied with that to give chase. We'll trade him the civilians lives for the three items we need. We could also sneak into his place and try and find those items as he sleeps, relying on stealth and my Dead Silence Jutsu. I have a genjutsu binding technique we could rely on as well... but I'm not sure what the Raikages capabilities are... so I have no idea what will slow him down or what won't." Yuzuki sighed and started off once Seika caught up with her.

Seika followed without saying a word. She too was going over her Yuzuki's plan in her head. Sadly there was no easy way to do this. It had to be done though...or else.

"I'd recommend the second option for now. Though if you can get me into the village, I'll set up the bombs for you. We can use it as an alternative, perhaps? All I know is for now we might want to find out where the items are before jumping to things. At least I would think....you're the one who knows the important details. Just tell me what you need." Seika was really trying to make this work. She knew her way around the Cloud village, though that wasn't what bugged her. It was the people that lived there. Tsukiko and Tatsuya...she hated them both.

Nothing mattered to her, except Shuniji and the Otokage. They were her world in a nutshell. That's why she was here...

Seika made a quick hand sign and summoned a shadow clone to her side. This mission was risky, but Seika wasn't going to put herself in a bad situation if she didn't have to. Though really...was there anything safe about stealing from the Raikage? Not at all.

The Shadow clone turned into a small replica of her own cat and hopped up on Yuzuki's shoulder. Er....or her clones. Even Seika wasn't sure which one was the real one. Then there was a voice that sounded within Yuzuki's head. It was Seika's."I can contact you via telepathy as long as I'm touching you in some way. So there's no need for words once we're in." God help her if she took that out of context.

The real Seika began to slow her pace as they came closer to the gates. There was a strange feeling that riddled her heart, more like a word...faint but effective enough to make her heart sink.

"Seika.."

Then came that sour feeling in her mouth. Something that clenched onto her rotten heart, a feeling much akin to heartache. It felt as if one had just delivered devastating news about a loved one. What was this?

"Please... just look at me."

Shuniji? 'Why do you sound so sad...?' A thought that now troubled Seika deeply.

Something wasn't right. Though she was clueless as to what it was. There was just...that god awful feeling. It was just like that instance with Tsukiko and Tatsuya. She was flooded with subliminal messages, feelings almost. If they were powerful enough, they'd reach her in the most spontaneous manner. Of course...this only worked with people like Shuniji or Kaichou, the Otokage even. If it was somebody she shared a sort of bond with, linked to in some way.

She could feel them.

Yuzuki said nothing about the hidden innuendo as her twisted mind wrapped around that touching bit... she may not have said anything but a wicked little grin that spread across her face may have given away a little more than what she was not willing to say out loud. The cat was passed off to the real Yuzuki. She placed it on her her shoulder, giving her a little scratch under her chin. "Alright, we'll try the sneak attack first and see how that goes. I think that the bombs would be more... successful, he is a rather sentamental fool from what I understand." Yuzuki looked over her shoulder at the world infront of her. Her eyes narrowed somewhat, she was rolling things around in her head. 'If I did have to face him... my shadow clones would be my greatest advantage. I could bind him in my new genjutsu, and that should open him up enought to at least get a shot in... if I have my other two clones come and attack with me then we should be able to bring him to his knees... He will woe the day that he forced me into a cage and chain me... granted... I need to make sure that the Otokage won't be the same story in a different book. We'll have to see. If I am to bring forth my new world I need to be free.'
On the way she began to train once more. Yuzuki looked down at the paper that was tossed at her from Seika and pulled it over to her so that she could have a better look at what was going on with this paper, she had no idea how this was going to help her learn how to start fires with her chakra. She gave her new Sound-mate the benefit of the doubt and took out one of the package. She took out one of the sheets and held it in between her index and middle figure, let see… she was suppose to channel her chakra into the paper and then concentrate on the image and thoughts of fire and destruction. Picture someone she hated burning… was she only allowed one? She had a ton of people on a s**t-list and none of them were any lesser than the other in her eyes. The Raikage? How about that Mutt that she was forced to work under despite her voiced distain? But first she was interested to see if she would be able to actually push chakra into this paper and have it react, she never used this before, nor had she ever heard of this technique so this was all fairly new to her. She closed her eyes and concentrated her chakra flow into the paper that graced her presence, she followed Seika’s advice and thought of the force that was the governing flow of the fire element. Power. It was what she wanted the most, the power and the thirst for the ability to eclipse the world with her shadow and plunge everything into the madness of war. It was what humankind wanted and desired, and she was going to give it to them, she was going to obtain the power to butcher nations and put everything to the flame. Yes… she was going to burn this world for the sake of future, and from its ashes a newer, stronger humanity will claw its way up into the light of day once more. She could see it now. When she got those items that she was sent for she would come back to the village where stupidity and sloth were embedded in tradition. She would cast her shadow there first, with fire and brimstone she would free the world of that cesspool and cleanse it utterly from the existence of the world. She hoped that she would be able to dance with the Raikage among the ashes and burnt corpses of those whom he once ruled under. How glorious it would be for her, wrapping her body in the heat and sweat as the fires licked and danced around them, their heat intensifying the smells of decay and death that would pollute the air. She could envision him, lashed under her genjutus’ and watch him wither in pain and agony as his flesh slowly melted off his body. The beautiful caress of the chemical reaction as it caused the blisters to form on his slick flesh and burst in a symphony of cruelty and savage grace. Oh how those flames would dance, free to come and go as they pleased, no force able to stop them once they reached that critical point where its strength was at its peak.

Yes… how they danced in the darkness of the twilight of the day. It was an element that devoured at its own pace, not rushed like so many of the other things in life, yet the fire itself seemed to know that it’s time was limited so it made the most of things. She could picture it, from a high vantage point overlooking the world beneath her, she could see the raging fire that would someday touch everything. She focused on what the fire needed in order to survive, a fuel source, a thermal heat source, and oxygen. She could picture these three things creating the reaction that was needed in order to make the element function and come to life. She focused the chakra into the paper and was met with the sound of a tearing sound… which was not what she was after at all, she was hoping for no sound at all, spare the snapping and popping of the paper. When she opened her eyes she frown when she discovered that the paper was torn instead of burnt, she channelled more chakra into the paper and shredded it out of frustration, pulling out another piece she tried again, this time however she decided to keep her eyes open so that she didn’t run into a tree. She was hoping to learn this before the village but that was looking doubtful. Still, in her minds eye she pictured the Raikage burning once more, she focused that point of rage and anger, the mere thought of his arrogance at using her like some sort of petty tool when she was capable of so much more still gnawed viciously at her guts. She took that feeling and applied it to her chakra and began to focus it once more into the paper in between her fingers, the thoughts and expressions of those who always talked down to her and told her that she would never amount to anything was running through her head, adding proverbial and hopefully soon to be literal fuel to the fire. She could almost feel the heat of her chakra flow throughout her body and consume her from the inside. She knew that feeling well, it was hatred, hatred so intense that it bordered both on the brink of insanity and the beautiful at once. It crawled up her arm and towards the paper that was in her hand. Her eyes narrowed and she glared through her eyebrows at the scenery around her, she focused, channelled and turned that wrath inwards so that she could stoke that feeling and intensify it so that it reached the boiling point and become that flame that she was wanted and waiting for. Yuzuki snapped her arm out to the side and poured those feelings into her chakra and into the paper, the paper itself burst into flames. She tossed it aside as she kept going, a malicious smile grew under her mask… now that she had this power she was going to make this world burn, so like the phoenix, humanity would rise from the ashes into a brand new world.

When they got to the gates she looked over at Seika, she had stopped and was looking over in the direction that the land of Fire was. Yuzuki paused and looked over her shoulder at Seika, turning to face her a little bit more. Her eyes burrowed into the bridge of her nose a little. "What is it, Seika? What's wrong?"
She wasn't going to bring Seika along if she didn't feel one hundred percent. She was distracted with something and that could make things far more difficult on the misson. It could jepodise the mission if emotions got in the way. She would rather chance this alone if her partner was not all together. Not that it bothered her, she was use to it, being the loner that she was. "..."
Yuzuki decided to feel this one out before she went any further and let Seika decide if she was coming or not, she was sure that she could handle this if Seika wanted to be... else where. She wouldn't say anything to the Otokage if that was what she wanted. She was going to need allies when all was said and done, and she couldn't care less who they are as long as she was competient. She reached up and gave the Seika clone a scratch behind the ears as she waited for Seika's answer and see if she needed anything.

...you won't wake up from.
