 Suki"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, DOKU!" A nurse from somewhere down the hall yelled back at the Eevee.
"Zori's too light-footed to get caught by any heavy-hitting nitwit." That 'heavy hitting nitwit' just so happened to be Teacher, who was actually faster than Zori, due to being a Legendary, but the Eevee didn't have to know that.

 Doku"B-B-But something might happen!" The Eevee exclaimed.
"She could get hurt, or worse, because I wasn't there to protect her!"
There were tears forming in the corners of Dku's eyes.
He was aware that Zori was a better fighter than he, but he was in love with her.
It was his duty to protect her, whether she needed it or not.

SukiSuki sighed, feeling helpless.
"If you go out there injured like you are now, she could get hurt trying to help YOU, Doku. It's safer for both of you if you just stay put..." The Mismagius admitted, feeling a pang of guilt at being so blunt with the worried Eevee.
"That, and if you try to leave, we'll chain you to the bed like we once did with Zori." A Blissey called over from another room.
Suki had to laugh. "I remember that! Zori was in hospital with a head injury, and she snuck out to go to battle with everyone else. Not only did she nearly get herself killed because of that injury, but they wouldn't let her leave for another week because of it." Suki explained to Doku.

DokuDoku bried his facein his paws.
Zori was out there, fighting so he'd be safe
"If she gets hurt... It'll be my fault..." he whimpered weakly.

Suki"Just know that she's not alone, Doku." Suki soothed, drawing the Eevee onto her lap, and stroking his fur to comfort him.
"The whole of the guild is out there. Another team saved Frost and I; if Zori needs help, she'll get it. I know she will."
The Mismagius paused, feeling a little bit dizzy from blood loss.
"Just focus on getting better so you can help her in the next fight."

DokuDoku cried softly in Suki's lap.
Next fight?
Who's to say there was a next fight for Zori?
The thought of it made him want to die himself...

SukiSuki stroked the distressed Eevee's fur.
"She'll come home to you. I promise." She murmured softly, cradling him to lull him into a more calm, quiet state.
Sure, it was probably a little bit of a strange idea, but it worked all the time for soothing Gary and Zori. Why not try it with Doku?

DokuDoku curled up as he was cradled by Suki.
When he was with Zori, he was as mature as he could get.
When Zori wasn't around, he was basically a child.

 Zori & Suki & FrostSuki still sat with Doku in her lap a good while later, with Frost lying asleep on the cool floor next to them. None of the three had been cleared to leave yet, so they were waiting for one of the nurses to give them the sign to go.
While they'd been waiting, however, a rather weary Leafeon limped in. She wasn't hurt, but her muscles were sore from fighting for so long. She spotted the familiar form of her partner, and moved toward the Mismagius. Her heart lightened considerably when she realized that Frost and Doku were with her, and she sped up a little, eager to see them.
"Suki, Doku, Frost!" She called out, forgetting that Doku wouldn't recognize her in her new form.
Suki's eyes shot open, and she smiled. Frost watched her, wagging his tail in greeting.

DokuDoku's ears flicked up when he heard his name called.
He lifted his head and turned to face the Leafeon.
Was that...?
"ZORI!" He cried, jumping to his feet and speeding at the female, tackling her and sobbing.
"I thought I was gonna' lose you!"

Orion appeared with a comical pop, like a Buneary being pulled from a magician's hat.
The Espeon flicked his gray tails and trotted to the office area to deliver Solaris's message to the mortician Weavile.
Behind him a small Raichu was carrying a large electric rodent on his back, the larger Pokemon seemed far to heavy for him and he slumped to the ground in tears.
He didnt know where Lucy had gone, but he wanted to see Siggy.
He'd lost his dad, if he lost the Typhlosion too he'd just die.

 VitoThe gray Weavile in question was running around the hospital, shouting orders.
The age lines on his face were more prominent now, and the fact that he had to stop and cough between sentences just added to his look of old age.
"No, take the damn Luxray to room seven! SEVEN! And somebody find out who 'Spira' is and contact them, maybe they'll be able to get this damn Absol to stop muttering things when we're trying to take care of him!"
He ended up in the lobby and turned his head.
Upon seeing the older Espeon, he nodded, and then he saw young Jazz.
When he laid eyes on the dead Raichu, he let out a depresses sigh and squeezed his forehead.
"Son of a b***h... He was too young..." He growled softly.
"LLOYD!"

Lloyd---Orion--Jazz---Spira
"I came to inform you that due to the war your hospital will be quite crowded, but I'm sure you've realized that by now." Orion stated just as Lloyd turned the corner.
"I'm coming, I'm coming! What is it Vito, I've got an emergency to de-...oh Arceus ********. Jasper." He raised a claw to his mouth and then noticed the Raichu sitting near the caped one sobbing his little heart out.
Lloyd wasnt good with kids at all.
"I'm here! What happened!?"
A blue blur flashed onto the scene, Spira with a look of concern across her face.
It wasnt always the most pleasant experience when a psychic nurse tells you a friend was in the hospital.
The Lucario moved to threaten someone for information but Lloyd was quick to stop her.
"Down the hall, room four."
With a nod she was off to the appointed room at top speed.

 Vito---&--- SpikeVito frowned at Orion.
"Yeah, now ya' tell me," He said gruffly before turning to Lloyd.
"I want you to take Jasper down to the morgue. Then take Jazz there to the room Lucy brought that Typhlosion," He ordered.
The older Weavile leaned in closer to Lloyd's ear and spoke in a whisper.
"Don't let the kid inside until Lucy's finished with the kid."
He gave Lloyd a quick kiss on the cheek and watched as Spira stormed off to where Spike was being held.
Spike's injuries weren't that bad, but the nurses still needed him to hold still so they could bandage his face.
Being a cyborg, anesthetic had to effect on him, so they couldn't numb him or anything.
The Absol was knocked out, but he was still struggling in his sleep.
"S-Spir... ra..." He was muttering.

Zori & Suki & FrostZori crouched, nuzzling Doku lovingly. "For a minute there, I was worried about the same thing." She admitted quietly. She was relieved to see him up and moving again. She purred heartily, rasping her tongue over his ears. She couldn't as easily press herself against him, as she was now more than twice his size, but she still loved him just as much, if not more.
From the edge of the room, Suki floated over, squirming into the affectionate tangle of limbs to hug her partner. Suki held her partner's face for a moment, smiling. "You've grown a lot, Zo." She finally admitted to the Leafeon, and the Grass-type only smiled in response.
Suki backed away slightly to let Doku and Zori have their space.
Frost staggered up behind the Mismagius, looking rather drunken from the amount of anesthetics in his system.
