The homes in the neighborhood were all dark and quiet. Everyone was waking up, after all.
That's right, I hadn't gotten any sleep last night. Ace sighed. "Well, I wonder who I must persuade to let me stay in their home.
He paced the crooked path, looking to his left and right occasionally to observe the homes. Normally, Ace didn't trust his intuition, but he set his mistrust aside for the moment. He needed to find a home that seemed to house trustworthy people. However, this was Wonderland. Not a single sane person resided in this world.
"Hmm, yes...," he mumbled, "Cheshire Cat once told me that 'we're all a little mad here'...Where is that cat when you need him?"

Tao just laughed. 'Silly, silly boy.',he thought with a chuckle.
"Well, let's get you something to drink. You're dehydrated.",he said lifting Matt's arm over his shoulder and standing.

"You better ask him yourself" Nobody said continuing to drink his tea, Marcie shuddered "I guess I will when he feels a little better" She answered and headed upstairs to deliver Matt's tea "should I come back later then?" Nobody asked "Well is not like he could possibly get even more upset really" Marcie responded opening the bathrooms door and noticing Tao in there, she smiled and gave and acknowledged his presence with a small curtesy.

"Here is your tea, Matt dear, I also got you some hangover drink, it tastes awful but it will help" Marcie said placing the trait in the sink.

Nobody peeked his head from the frame and looked at matt's state "Is he alive?" he asked to no one in particular eyeing Matt with a little concern.

Tao nodded his head at Marcie with a smile, then at Matt,"Eh, he wont last much longer. Oh~ Poor poor Mathew! He was a kind gentleman!",he said playfully, acting all dramatic. Marcie might scold him, but the feline didn't care.

Marcie chuckled, it was cruel on her side to find the situation amusing but she just couldn't help it, Matt seemed to be unconscious at the time "Help me carry him to bed please Tao"
Nobody didn't appreciate the sarcasm and just stared at Tao, who was that guy any way?

Tao twitched his ear and smiled,"Of course.",he said adjusting Matt and lifting the teen into his arms easily. "Lead the way.",he said tilting his head, the felines tail flicking left and right casually.

Lead the way? It was her room's bathroom, there was not much of a way to lead, she scurried through the door non the less and in to her room where the big bed with blue and brown mattress was still un arranged, they had risen not so long ago after all, " Just place him there" Marcie commanded pointing at her bed.

Tao yawned, still tired, but slap happy as always; and followed the hare. Once in the room, he set Matt on the bed and covered him up. Tao couldn't help himself, but he changed into his purple and pink feline form and walked around Marcie's legs in a circular motion, rubbing his head affectionately as he did so and sat out in the hall.

What was up with that cat? He usually wasn't that much of a house kitty, love really changed people "Thank you" Marcie mutered in the general direction of the cat and returned to the batroom to get the trail again
Nobody found Tao quiet interesting, a person that can transform in to a cat? well, that was not something he got to see everyday so he followed the cat-man to the hall partly because of his curiosity, partly because he didn't want to bother matt in such a state "Who are you?" He asked bluntly once he reached the hall.

Tao looked up at Nobody, walked around the boy in a circle; as if to examine him. "Why, I'm Cheshire the Cat! But most call me Tao.",he said flashing his rather large smile at the young boy. "Now who might you be? If you are someone, that is.",he said tilting his furry face.
