I'm going this year, but I'm still out on the cosplay. I have something in mind, but I'm going to run it past my mom first because she's the only one allowed near the sewing machine.
I've taken years of sewing lessons and I only produce bad things. Bad. Bad. Things. gonk
My default is my Dante dress.

I'm actually wearing two costumes!
first I'm wearing a suit of armor, ((Alphonse Elric my father is in metal working and is making me some near replica stuff))
but underneath, I'm going to be wearing an Armstrong costume, so when people want me to take off my armor I can be like "SHASHA!!!" It seems like fun in my head...
My girlfriend is going as Ed... so we will match... err half the time...

Kakuzu's only a couple inches taller than I am. I'd love to cosplay him just to wear the mask. xd Of course, I'm also really pale and don't have red/green eyes. gonk
I'm thinking Kotoko from Chobits. You get a lot of wiggle room with chibis, plus she's obviously a girl and my mom wanted to do something kimono-like. xd
EDIT: I looked up the exact measurements--Kakuzu's exactly as tall as I am. xd
