(Sparrow, you cant take medical as an element until Chuunin if you take Suiton as your Primary element. Besides, even if it was your primary element, you wouldn't be able to learn it past B rank. I would wait until Jounin to take it, or to take the Extra Element bonus for Ninjutsu users)

xxxxYamatano simply sighed at the comment on his choice to become an Oinin. While Kaizen had followed in the footsepts of LT sensei and Lord Mizukage, Yamtano had chosen to become an operative of shadows, serving Kiri by punishing those who would betray it. "Perhaps one day, LT-sensei. After all, these daggers cant hold up against everything."

As he spoke those words, Yamatano gained sudden realization as to how LT COULD help him progress as an Oinin. During the battle against the Zombies, Yamatano had constantly had to unsheathe his dagger and sheath it again when he had to perform Ninjutsu. He knew of an Oinin weapon which would end that hardship for him, but would the Oinin corps officially allow him, a Junior Oinin, to wield one? Probably not, but seeing as LT sensei lived in a smithy.....he thought he could work something out. "Actually, if you have a moment later, I might want to talk to you about buying something from your family's business to help me progress in that area. As for now, need any help?" Yamatano said, not wanting to reveal too much to the new students, lest they get any ideas of their own.

Downer walked by the door and fluidly unhooked his staff from his side. He held it in front of him and bowed. "Is this what you were looking for?" He asked, tiredly. He wasn't exactly prone to violence, be he'd much rather be getting stronger by learning more about fighting and justu. He smoothly slipped it back into his sash. "May we continue?"

Damien walked back over to the wall and leaned again with his arms folded. "Yeah, I understand. Can we just make this go by a little faster. We 'are' the bloody mist, as you said. Its strange that there is such a stress on manners here. Thats all." When LT spoke of the papers, Downer just chuckled. He unhooked his staff again. Within Storm, water swirled slowly. "As far as my element, there's no need for the paper. I don't know why, but I can control the water in here." He held the staff in his outstretched and it lifted up slowly. It began to rotate slowly in the air. "Its like I can sort of, 'feel' the water. I meant to ask the Mizukage about it." He snatched the staff out of the air. "So that would be my element."

Mizu no Waruasobi (Trick of Water)
Description: A very simple technique which involves a simple flick of one's hands and a muster of sweat in the fingers. A precise flick comes from of the hands or even a shake can be made as if trying to get something off one's hands. The water streaks from the hand of the user and towards the enemy's eye. This unexpected irritation can blur their vision.

Mizu Kagami no Jutsu (Water Mirror Technique)
Description: A simple jutsu that allows the user to turn a quantity of water as small as a drop and as large as a small puddle into a mirrored surface. This can allow the user to see behind himself, and around corners with careful application of the technique.

Uo Tsuba (Fish Spit)
Description: A simple jet of water shot from the mouth. It can hit with enough force to stun you if it hits properly. It can be done up to 5 times in succession, or one jet can be shot. To give an example of its power, Mist academy students usually use this technique to play a game much like tag.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique)
Description: Creates one or multiple identical copies of the original out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin then a regular Bunshin, water clones are capable of attacking, except each clone is roughly 1/10 the power of the original. The water clone can perform one jutsu that the user also knows once. It must be a water elemental jutsu. One solid hit will destroy the clone.

Mizu Soujuu (Water Manipulation)
Description: Any Mist Shinobi that uses ninjutsu should likely have this technique. This involves learning basic manipulation of the properties of water. Boiling, freezing, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Freezing is mostly limited to small amounts of water, and boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) A Kage level jutsu always requires a water source, even if the Mist-nin in question creates it first.


((Im not sure the math is right on this for learning jutsu, but i believe it is 3 for learning a basic jutsu, but since you all are learning at a home turf ( mist) training ground (academy) I think its 3 - 2 = 1, but since you are beinging taught, its also another -1, but i think you still have to do at least 1))

Damien caught the annoyed glance that LT shot him, but he ignored it. He was just trying to make things go by faster. His gaze finally sharpened when jutsu were being written on the wall, however he began to realize the signs were some he'd already gone through with a white eyed shinobi. The only things he'd never seen were the water flick and mirror move. So he figured he'd try that. He gathered a very small amount of chakra in his fingers, searching for sweat there. He found none, so he dipped his finger in the water and spread the moisture from one finger to the rest. "Mizu no Waruasobi" He murmured almost silently. He flicked a few fingers to the side and the water shot off, flying a couple of feet before falling in the water again. He didn't even look for approval from teachers, because even though the jutsu was new, he felt as if he'd done it plenty of times already.




((@ gregar: He knows he's better than the children at water jutsu, but he doesn't know why. He also knows that he can manipulate water to a degree, but once again, doesn't know why. He doesn't actually 'know' that he can do all jutsu of his rank, just that he's been able to easily learn all the water jutsu that he's seen so far.

btw, you don't 'have' to slide stuff like that into your posts. I've been here long enough to know the limitations of an untrained academy student ninja.))
