"Bugger!" Brillux commented sitting next to Eric. Looking at him he gave the warrior a smirk. "Well lad, it looks like we'll have to put the fires out eh? Get our plump friends to help us out while I go see about rescuein' some of the people trapped inside!" the skeleton clammerd and jumped off the horse. Without saying much he ran into town, as quick as his boney legs could take him.

Yuri had fallen asleep during the ride, after all of that traveling he was tired. The samuri hated to admit to such things, and figured May would tease him later for it. When the cart came to a halt he slowly began to wake up. Noticing that his pregnant partner must have slipped into the shadows he stood up and looked out the window when the word Fire was mentioned.

He knew where his girlfriend was, probably scouting the town to get a better handle on the situation. She would report back whenever she would be done. After all, she was a ninja and she vanished often around Yuri so much that he didn't notice anymore.

The warlock kind of had a point, though Cress didn't want to admit it. When the wagon stopped and Eric screamed about the fire the Cleric looked at his wife. "Honey, I have to go about seeing to the injured. Unless you'd like to come help me? One of your summons or two might come in handy Sheena." he politely said kissing her cheek.

Looking over to his cousin he nodded at her. "Firie, do you mind helping me with healing? With our combined light magic we'll get the job done alot faster!" he asked her with a kind smile.

Cress never panicked, and always kept his calm. The Cleric knew that he would be needed in this town, so his wife's pie and wedding would have to wait until the fire was put out and the injured were seen to. He hoped she would understand.

It would be inevitable that many or most of the women would be bigger by the time the fire was put out, but it couldn't be helped. Rubbing her tummy Cress gave her a nod. "That sounds like a good idea hon. I'll give you a tummy and tail massage later for a job well done." he flirted kissing her lips before pulling gently away from the Lamia's snuggling coils.

Leaving the caravan he frowned at the damage. Those poor townsfolk! He would be busy for a while that was for sure!

((( You can help with the town fire. I just time and location skipped everyone back into town, which is kinda still burning down. )))

"s**t..." Roxanne muttered, taking in the destruction as she followed Cress out of the carriage as swiftly as she could. This couldn't have been an accident... she thought. "Somebody targeted the locations that could help us..." She added, watching as the roof of a nearby magic shop collapsed in on itself with a plume of smoke and ash.

"Careful with the uses of your magic, now theres no telling when we might get this reversed." Roxanne advised the other disembarking women, "We don't want ourselves swelling up to the point that we can't move."

Mina nodded and followed Michiyo. "Yeah, I'll find the source faster than they could start the fire." She smiled, happy that her skills could be put to use. She waddled her way to the already burned areas. "Be careful, these buildings aren't structurally sound, they could fall at any moment." Mina said, carefully pressing on the side of one of the buildings and holding her belly protectively. "And some of them probably still have embers so they could catch fire again if there's anything left to burn. And if they collapse, well, I might as well throw hot wax on you."

Brillux was using his weapon to break open debrie that had fallen in the way, to make exits for people. Nothing really bothered him, it was just his armor was starting to melt a little from the heat. Pah! They don't make good armor these days! Back when the man was alive armor used to last, and protect the person wearing it, through much of everything possible. The only thing it didn't protect well was when the person died..

As the skeleton burst into one of the houses, he spotted a child cowering in the corner. The little girl was afraid of the skeleton, but had sprained her ankle so she couldn't move. Cowering she thought she was dead, but instead found herself being hauled up by the undead. With all of his might, he managed to get the girl out of the building before it collasped on itself.

Cress was busy healing the wounded. As a Cleric this was his job, from severe burns to small cuts, he would use his magic on some, and use very good medical skills on the more severe cases. After all magic didn't cure everything!

Like Brillux, Yuri was helping people out of the houses, by slicing old, and sometimes making new, passageways to safety. He would even work together with the skeleton at times. Worried abit for May he hoped she was alright, that ninja was clumsy sometimes.

Yuri was a bit stunned to see her appear so suddenly, but releaved as well. As the young boy and his mother thanked the ninja they ran for safety. Yuri turned to her and shook his head with surprise. "I seems that your sudden shift in weight and pregnancy hasn't slowed you down any." he stated before giving her a hug. "I'm am glad you are safe too, please stay by my side though. I don't want anything bad to happen to you or our little ones." he said kissing her forehead.

Taking the ninja by the hand the samuri began to lead them both to a safer place, while looking for more people to help at the same time. "I do not know, but what, or whom, ever caused this is rather skilled. Not all of the city is burning, just the places where normal trade goods are met. Don't you find that a bit odd May?" he asked giving her a serious look.
