It's wonderful to be here, so far this guild is everything I thought it would be and more! heart
Anyway my name is Reiko, I'm 20 years old and from New York City. I fell in love with Dir en Grey in late 1999 after hearing the song Garden. I downloaded it by accident while trying to find something else and naturally, my clumsiness led to the best mistake in the world! I fell in love instantly with this amazing Japanese band. Out of all the songs they have I would have to list my top three as Drain Away, [Kr]Cube, and Yokan. Kaoru is my favorite member (yay Leader-sama!), followed by Kyo, Toshiya, Shinya and Die respectively. (Though I love them all, it's so hard to pick favorites!)
Thanks again for the welcome and I look forward to really getting to know everyone here!

I was first introduced into Japanese music
through my family [ Japanese ]
my grammy watched many pop singers when I was little
and I grew into that
soon after came Gackt and so on as I watched anime
to discover more and more.

Okay now. Before I start, I just want to get down on my knees and say that I'm sorry I have been M.I.A. for a LONG while. What with college cracking down on me, my recent involvement in the college playS (The Rocky Horror Picture Show AND Bullshot Crummond), and my job, I have had NO time to be on here AT ALL. I am plain AMAZED that I'm still a mod here, but if some good graces are in my favor, hey, that's cool. I am going to welcome two new members, and I advise you do so, too!

I'm Driver_Elle, but everyone in Gaia just calls me "Elle", and I also have some people calling me 'Driver' (but that kinda sounds weird to me)... so basically, call me whatever you want! Nick-names are great, just don't go too crazy ok?
O and I guess I should say how I got into Dir en grey now, since this is a guild for them! X'333

Let me see... jrock has always been really big in my circle of friends so it didn't take long for me to grow obssessed with those beautiful people and their off the hook music.
Malice Mizer was awsome, thanks to the dolly Mana, then of course who could resist Gackt when he went solo?!?!

I owe it to my tasteful friend for introducing me to Dir en grey and once I heard dear Kyo's voice, I knew I had found the best band!

About moi: I'm Anna, form Ireland,I'm 16 & I play bass
What got you into Dir en grey: I saw the min a magazine & decided it'd be a good idea to look them up *one of the best ideas I've ever had lol*
What you like about them: Their music is so different to what I'd usually listen to. There isn't anything I don't like about this band, & the bass lines in particular are incredible.
Favorite songs: There's so many to chose from, but if I had to chose I'd go with Cage, Kiri to Mayu & Ash (along with so many others)
Albums: Hard to say
Member: It's so hard to chose a favoutite member, concidering they're all so great in their own way, but I'd have to go with Toshiya. He has to be probably the best bassist I've ever heard

About me : Carl Justin, 18 years of age, I'm from the Philippines. I play the keyboards.
What got you into Deg : 3 years ago, my friend show to me a pv of them, the pv was Yokan, i started to like their music since then, although they changed their music a bit. I even love their music much more right now.
What you like about them : Their music, their style and Kyo's kurai lyrics. he surely is a gifted lyricist.
Favorite Songs : Yokan (of course razz ), Umbrella, Kodoku ni shisu yue ni kodoku, Filth, Mazohyst of Decadence, Higeki wa mabuta wo kudaroshita yasashiki utsu.
Albums : It's very hard to decide, Gauze or WTD, rofl
Member : Kyo. need i say more? biggrin
