Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart "Yes," the crimsonette said answering the Keybearer's question. "Right!" Kairi nodded to Sora when he began running up the path, urging them forward. The Princess was no where near as athletic as Sora or Riku but always had managed to keep up with them in the past, and it was no different now. Sora and Mulan were ahead of her, but she wasn't too far behind. As they continued on it began getting colder. Breathing hard Kairi pulled up her hood and thought to herself "Well at least all this running will keep me warmer!"We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

(hey riku's twin, there's no way hikari could be heading for the entrance to the chamber. if you read that post with lakayna entering it; she fell into the chamber; meaning the exit is in the chamber's ceiling. therefore, hikari couldn't just simply 'walk' to it.)
Lakayna smiled. "No worries Namine," Lakayna replied with a friendly and warm smile, "If you need to get warm, then by all means; go ahead and get yourself warm." Lakayna then turned her head slightly to look at the rest of her friends there; Axel, Riku, and Hikari, having something she wanted to ask. "Anyone know why all those Heartless swarmed this place when I got here earlier?" she asked them all, truly unaware that it was Hikari who had sent them in the first place, even if the girl wasn't aware of it at first.

((Oops! Eh heh, well just ignore that part then. Sorry about that. sweatdrop ))
Axel shrugged at Lakayna's question. "Hey you got me. I can't really even control Dusks, let along Heartless," he said casually.
Hikari hesitated for a moment. Yes she was aware that she had sent the Heartless out after Lakayna. Even though she had lost control of her body, she still had her mind at all times incase someone tried to interrupt her, like how Riku and Naminé did. "I don't know," she said hesitantly, but her expression was stone faced as ever.

(eh, don't worry now. just wanted to point that out. ^_^ anyways, are you gonna have mushu think lakayna is his old friend lahitashi; lakayna's moher? with how mushu is, i bet that meeting is gonna be funny. he and mulan don't have a clue who lakayna is. oh yeah; and to otaku as well as riku's twin; don't tell mushu or mulan yet that lakayna is the dragon, please.)
Lakayna raised an eyebrow at Hikari'sanswer. The girl seemed a little...hesitant when she replied. But whatever, Lakayna didn't long. For now, the hoards of Heartless had vanished and the female dragon had a statue half in her possession. Still, in her mind she made a mental note to find out more about Hikari's past when she got the chance. Lakayna knew it would be painful, but with that foriegn darkness gone it would be much, much easier to handle. She turned her heard towards the ceiling, yawning a little. Her teeth became visible for a brief moment, before the yawn ended and she closed her mouth again. "I'm tired," she said to the others, "It's better just to stay in one place for now, till the others find us anyway. I have a feeling most of you are tired anyway. If you're cold, I can provide plenty of warmth." All they had to do was huddle up somewhere against Lakayna's body .

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé opened her eyes -- which had fluttered closed against her will -- and turned her head to look up at Riku as he'd spoken. She noticed the look on his face was sad, her and mouth turned down into a frown. She didn't dare ask him what was wrong in front of everyone, as she knew he liked to be strong. But she'd most definitely find out what was wrong later. "How can we get out? The way out is up, unless someone creates a corridor of darkness to get out out of here," the petite blonde replied to his earlier statement.. Thad had been the way she'd gotten in; through a portal. They'd have to get out the same way. "But Sora and the others will be expecting us to be at the cave..." Naminé trailed off in thought but her thoughts were hazy and were beginning to unravel.
Suddenly, Hikari tossed something towards Naminé who reached out and caught it out of reflex. It was a Hi-Potion. The girl fumbled with opening it but she soon did and downed the contents. Warmth spread throughout her entire body, healing her wound and giving her energy. Color went back to her face and she sighed from relief. She nodded her thanks to Hikari before Lakayna spoke in her mind in a kind voice, telling her that if she needed to get warm she was welcome too. Naminé smiled and ran a hand along Lakayna's scales as she remained silent. The Dragon asked if anyone knew why the Heartless had attacked her and Axel and Hikari both stated they didn't know.
Naminé's brilliant blue eyes flickered to the silver haired girl for a moment, knowing something had happened to her. She'd used the Darknes for something though the petite blonde couldn't prove it. She quickly looked away before standing up. "Lakayna's right. We do need rest and this place is better protected from the elements then the cave we were in earlier. If Axel could raise the temperature a bit, then we'd be just fine. But someone has to go greet Sora and the others and bring them back because they'll be expecting us at the cave. So I'll do it," the petite blonde stated, volunteering herself before anyone else had the time to say anything. Waving a hand, she created a portal of Darkness and it swirled in front of her, open and waiting. "I'll be back soon, with Sora and everyone else," she promised and stepped through it. The portal swirled for a few moments more before beginning to dissapear.
Naminé appeared in the cave they had taken refuge in earlier and she shivered from the sudden blast of coldness. Rubbing her hands against her arms she walked to the mouth of the cave and waited there, staring out at the vast, white land, waiting for Sora and Kairi to come running up with Mulan and Mushu.

Mulan l l Protector Of China l l l l Protector Of China l l
Mulan turned to Kairi as the girl informed them that there'd been a fight but everyone was alright. And that Lakayna -- whoever that was -- had retrieved half of the statue so that would help them with finding the other half. But how had the redhead known that? She'd stated that someone by the name of Naminé had told her. But how? Magic? Mulan cast a curious and appraising glance at Kairi. There seemed to be much more to the redhead then met the eye. At Kairi's words, Sora suddenly upped the pace, taking off at a run.
Mulan dashed after him, her own endurance quite high as she'd been in wars and plenty of fights. That and the fact that she trained every day helped as well. As she ran by Mushu, she snatched him up gently and placed him on her shoulder, knowing he couldn't really run as fast as the group did. The female warrior knew he may complain but that was better than leaving him behind. Mulan and Sora led the way, while Kairi was a bit behind them but not too far at all. In what seemed to be no time, they were in the vast snowy lands of the mountain. Slowing her pace, as they stepped onto the snow, Mulan asked aloud, "Where is it we're meeting them?"

(well, at least riku's shirt is still there. namine could use that to try and stay somewhat warm.)
Lakayna lay her head down and closed her eyes. Though the curaga spell Namine had used on her had helped quite a bit, it would take much more than that to restore the dragoness's energy. She closed her eyes, hoping Namine would be alright on her own. Lakayna knew the girl was tough, but even as a Nobody with power to manipulate peoples memories, she was still human enough and to getting cold. Stay warm Namine, until you return with the others, Lakayna thought silently as she fell asleep, awaiting her friend's return. Unconciously, warmth from Lakayna's inner fire spread out around her. It enveloped those within the chamber in a comforting warmth, so they wouldn't freeze to death even within the heart of the snow-capped mountain.

Axel looked at the cave, folding his arms. "Not that I don't want to warm this place up, but I don't want to end up turning this mountain top into a lake," he said. He then watched Namine as she went through a portal and disappeared. With a sigh, he headed over to lakayna and sat down near her head, resting against her shoulder and lightly patted her neck with his hand, then folding his arms and fell into a light sleep.
Hikari had gone to the other end of the cave and sat down on the floor. Even though she was wearing her coat, the cold was starting to sink into her bones, but she did what she could to hide it. Her mind was reeling from Lakayna's questioning and her quick, but slightly hesitant denial of knowledge of the Heartless appearing when they did. She knew her skills were starting to slip, and feared the worst if she were to fall asleep. After Namine had disappeared, she wrapped her arms around her legs, hugging them close to her as she let her forehead rest on her knees, thinking about what to do next.
"We're supposed to meet them at that cave just beyond the destroyed village, where we saw Shan-Yu last time," Sora panted as the snow crunched under his feet. A rush of relief came to his face at the sight of the blonde Nobody, waving his hand frantically over his head as they approached. "Hey! Namine! Over here!" he yelled, soon meeting up with her. "Sorry we took so long. We had a hard time finding Mulan's farm," he said, then looking over her shoulder. "Where's everyone else?"

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
The petite blonde shivered as a gust of icy, artic wind blew across the mountain top. Her thin school shirt really did nothing to keep her warm and her legs had to be frozen by now. Something blew across the ground and towards Naminé and the teen reached out and caught it. The fabric fluttered between her hands as the girl looked down at it. Riku's shirt. A faint smile played upon her lips as she put it over hers and the extra layer of cloth actually did help some. She shuddered lightly against another gust of wind and hoped that Sora would show up soon.
Moments later, she got her wish. Across the snowy grounds three figures appeared, racing her way. One of them in the lead, his brown spiky hair in it's usual, adorable dissary, raised his hand and shouted out her name. Naminé couldn't stop the bright smile that spread across her face and she waved back. Within minutes, Sora, Kairi and a beautiful young chinese woman approached her, pulling to a stop in front of her. He apologized for taking so long and the girl shook her head. "Don't worry about it. Everything's alright, everyone's fine." She replied, giving him a kind smile. He then asked where everyone was, his deep blue eyes looking past her to see into the empty cave.
"Oh, there someone place else. Someplace more sheltered and protected," the petite blonde said in reply to his question. "The only way we can get there is through a portal." As she'd spoken, the girl waved a hand and a portal appeared a little bit to the side of her. She gestured for the others to step through first as she moved out of their way. "When you step through, you'll meet up with everyone. I'll follow behind you so I can make sure nothing else happens to slip in." Naminé gave her friends a reassuring smile and waited for them to go through the portal.

Mulan l l Protector Of China l l l l Protector Of China l l
Mulan was right beside Sora as their small group raced through the Mountain pass. The Keyblader then told answered her question as they continued to run, the icy snow crunching underneath their feet. He told her that they were meeting everyone in the cave where they'd last seen Shan-Yu. "You mean the one set in the mountain behind the village?" The female warrior queried, her thoughts turning back to the past when she and Sora had fought alongside in that cave. Her hand wandered to her sword and she gripped the handle, the cool metal giving her comfort and lending confidence.
Sora didn't answer her question, nor did he need too. He led the group straight past the old village and Mulan pulled to a stop moments after Sora as they came to the cave. There, standing in the mouth of it, was a pretty, little delicate looking girl. Her blonde hair was blowing about in the cool wind and she shivered every now and then. Mulan remained quiet, wondering if this was the girl that Kairi had been taking about. Namine. The redhead and the blonde looked very much a like, as if the two were sisters. Mulan's dark eyes shifted from one girl to another, then to Sora. She heard what the blonde had said and before her very eyes, a portal seemingly made of solid darkness appeared before them.
The female warrior drew her sword in a lightning quick movement, her stance shifting into one that was more defensive. It wasn't that she thought anything bad was happen, it was just her reflex. The last time she'd seen darkness like that, it had taken shape into the form of strange creatures with strange powers thad she had fought against. Yet after staring at it for a few moments and listening to the blonde's words, she realized that no creatures were going to come popping out of it anytime soon. Mulan sheathed her sword and looked about the group. "Shall you go first or shall I?" She asked, looking at Sora.

(obviously everyone is ignoring the warmth lakayna blanketed over those still in the chamber.)
Lakayna, though asleep, was still aware of what was happening around her. The warmth she blanketed about those around her, wouldn't seep into the walls of the cavern and warm the ground above. It wouldn't melt the snow, so the mountain's snow was safe from turning into a heated lake. As long as they accepted the warmth, those within were in no danger of freezing at all.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Mulan had cast a curious and appraising glance at Kairi, which the red head had seen out of the corner of her eye. The crimsonette turned away, wondering what was wrong. She then suddenly realized how strange it must have been to Mulan how she had gotten the news of how their friends were doing. The Princess wasn't sure how she'd go about explaining to the female warrior who Naminé was and about the special bond she had with her. Kairi was very glad that the Chinese woman didn't question her. Once they were surrounded by snow Mulan asked where they would be meeting the others, and Sora answered her. And just as he told her, the very cave he had just said came into view. And to Kairi's delight a small petite blonde was waiting there for them. The Keybearer called out to her and waved as they all ran over to her. "Hey Naminé!" Kairi managed to stop shivering long enough to give her Nobody a smile, "See? I told you we'd be here soon." Sora apologized for their lateness and asked where everyone else was. The crimsonette looked around and saw that Naminé was the only one there. Where was everyone else? The Memory Witch reassured them though saying that they were fine and in a place more sheltered and protected, which could only be reached by portal. As she said that she summoned a portal beside her and gestured to them to go through. Kairi took a step forward but stopped in surprise when Mulan quickly drew out her sword. The red head then understood why. In the past portals of Darkness usually meant something bad. But after a moment Mulan saw that no harm would come from it, and stuck her sword back into its sheath. Once Kairi saw everything was okay she stepped forward again and walked through the portal. A second later she emerged into a large chamber and saw Lakayna, Axel, Riku, and Hikari before her. Kairi let out a sigh of relieve, glad to see that the others were okay and glad to find that the chamber seemed to be enveloped in a pleasant warm. The Princess looked at Lakayna and smiled. She was sure this wonderful warm was coming from the dragon girl, and she thanked her for it. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

Lakayna heard four pairs of footsteps echoing on the stone floor as Kairi, Sora, Mulan and Mushu, and Namine all stepped through a Dark Portal; causing Lakayna to awaken and look at the group. The portal vanished behind Namine as Lakayna lifed her head, still lying on the floor. "Glad to see you three made it back, and you even brought Mushu and Mulan," Lakayna said with a smile.
(hey guys, don't introduce lakayna to mulan or mushu please. let mushu think that lakayna is actually lahitashi; who was lakayna's mother.)

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart "Glad to see you guys are all okay. Naminé told me about you're little fight. And good job finding half of the statue!" Kairi answered Lakayna when she lifted her head and spoke. She walked over the dragon and patted her snout then looked up at her with a smile and said, "Yep we brought back Mushu and Mulan like we said we would. Now maybe we can find out how to turn you back into a human more quickly."((Don't worry I won't say anything ^_^)) We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

(oh yeah. and mushu knows that lahitashi had a human form even though she was a full dragon; if that wasn't clear at all earlier.)
Lakayna laughed a little, having lowered her head to Kairi's level so the girl was able to pet her snout. "Thanks," she replied to Kairi, "I wasn't expecting it to be so difficult to get the statue half, but I think it'll be worth it in the end; once the pieces are put back together."
