Suzette had a nervous smile since Alexis was getting a bit suspicious.
"So, do you know where the cafeteria is? I'm starving like hell", Kareena asked Suzette, while opening the door for everyone to see her. Kareena looked at Suzette's reaction.
"What? Am I not supposed to come in here?", she asked lazily.
"No!", she muttered to her.
"Gosh, well fine then", Kareena said loudly.

"Oh", Kareena switched her gaze from Suzette to Alexis.
"Ah, there's someone resting here. Sorry about that," she apologized. "By the way, did something happen to all of you?", she asked Suzette.
"It's really none of your conce-",
"Yes, it is. I heard students chattering on about some fighting that happened. Yet, by the looks of it, it's more serious than just plain old rough-housing. What did you get yourself into? Tell me", she demanded.

Alexis just stared at the woman.
"Yeah, a fight happened," she said. She remembered Aaron in the other room. He was probably still talking to Dad by the sounds of it. Alexis yawned and looked at Suzette. Her gaze said, 'Sorry, really, but, who is she?'

"Nice to meet you", Kareena said to Alexis.

Alexis eyed Kareena.
"Um...nice to meet you too..." she said. "I'm Alexis." She moved her bangs to the side, out of her face.

"Does this school let you make personal phone calls? None of the schools I taught in let me use the phone freely", Kareena asked Suzette.
"Er......yeah, just go to the main office", Suzette said. "But ju-" Yet, before anyone realized it, Kareena already made her way towards the office. The room went silent.
What's going to happen now? Suzette thought to herself as she sat down. Is everything going to go back to normal now that my mother is back? No, it will never be....

"what happened" Alice asked raising her eyebrows. This women was Suzette's mother but she didn't seem very happy to see her.

"Oh, nothing. I'm just fine", Suzette replied to Alexis, while smiling. Yet, it was true that she wasn't completely ecstatic that she reunited with her mother. Since her father died, and how traumatic wars can be, Suzette wasn't sure if Kareena was the same person anymore.

Alexis yawned.
"Good," she said, although she wasn't entirely sure that Suzette was 'fine'. She closed her eyes and said, "How long does she plan on staying? Parents aren't allowed on campus for extended amounts of time."

"Maybe for a week or so, then she can go back to our house. My aunt is staying there since the time she left for Ishbal to take care of me, so she will keep her company too", she replied. "Yet, it just depends how much she can bond with me again, but I don't think it'll be too hard."

Alexis chuckled. She could hear Alice's hug..or whatever it was. She settled into the bed and accidentally drifted into sleep.
