Edith hastily made her way to the infirmary, not really bothering to stop and say hi to a few fellow hunters that greeted her with their smiles and pleasantries since she was just as likely to probably bite them and suck their blood as she was to say hi in response. Once she'd made it to the infirmary, she didn't hesitate to have the now healed Gail fetch her a blood packet. As soon as Gail fetched and delivered the requested packet to her, Edith's inscisors swiftly elongated in order to puncture the packet and allow her the juicy reward inside. Upon hearing the packet punctured with her ever sensitive hearing, her tongue immediately moved to lap up the cool thick liquid. Man, this stuff tasted like metal and was completely gross but the new part of her craved it like nothing else, craved it as though it was a heroine addict's heroin. And just as some people preferred to have their drugs taken in certain ways, she preferred drinking her blood in certain ways. To be honest, she loved these blood packets, having something to puncture with her fangs before she drank in, however, what would make them better was if the texture of the packets were more akin to flesh and if the blood was warm ... That'd be ... wonderful.
Gail had been watching Edith as she was drinking from the packet and once Edith had completely drained the packet within a matter of seconds, she realized that she'd been behaving like some rabid blood-thirsty animal. Hell, that's exactly what she was, as much as she tried to deny the fact or tried to seem like she wasn't, at the end of the day she knew what she was and there was no way to change it. Gail didn't seem very disturbed by it, but it disturbed Edith that she'd been drinking the packet like that in front of Gail and she was quick to toss it away. "I'm sorry," Edith apologized to Gail, licking her lips to make sure no blood was trailing down them, "Gail, I didn't mean for you to ... well, watch or see that." She felt terrible for letting Gail see how hungry she was and, of course, Gail was probably concerned about her not drinking enough blood to keep herself satisfied, however, Edith managed. It had been, what, over six months and she still wasn't accustomed to this new way of living, having to drink blood, not being able to go out in the sun. It sucked a**, it sucked total a** and she hadn't even chosen this, either.
Quite suddenly, after having been chided by Gail for practically starving herself to the point that she was ready to lash out at people, Edith stuck her tongue out at the medic. She listened to Gail as her how Tokeru was and it was then that she remembered that Gail had actually been attacked by Tokeru because she'd gone off for a walk and he'd freaked out. "Tokeru's doing much better, he's calmed down a little bit, however, he's still not exactly himself but he's trying. I'm so sorry about what had happened, I had no idea that he'd freak out when he woke up. Well, I did, but I thought ... I just needed some time alone to think things through and I was a little upset. I should have been there and then you would have been much more safe." Yeah, Edith blamed herself for Gail getting hurt by Tokeru because she knew that she should have known better than to leave Tokeru alone by himself. She trusted Tokeru, but he'd been hurt and he'd needed her and instead she'd walked out on him because she'd been selfish and thinking of herself. Gail held no grudges, of course and Edith smiled to the medic and voiced a quiet thanks.

Tokeru had followed his angel, but stopped short when she entered the infirmary. He wanted to apologize, but Gail would probably panic when she saw him again, so he stopped short outside the door.
He waited for his love to come back out, he had spent so long without her that he never wanted to be without her again. So he waited.

Edith smiled warmly and softly at the fact that Tokeru was following her around like he was a lost puppy and it didn't bother her one bit. She could hear Tokeru's thoughts better than anyone else's and sense what he was experiencing emotional-wise and she knew that he was concerned that Gail would be terrified of him. Unlike Tokeru, Edith begged to differ, sure, Tokeru could earn himself lots of points in the scary department but Gail was a tough woman and had more than likely dealt with scary before. As her lips slightly curved to reveal a petite smile, Edith turned to look at the door of the infirmary where Tokeru was lingering. "Tokeru," she called him softly, beckoning him to come in with a wave of her arm, "Gail's fine, she knows that you weren't yourself, Angel. You'd never hurt Gail intentionally and both of us know that and I hope you know it too. Just come kiss and make up so you don't have to skulk around outside the door, you're more likely to scare her that way as opposed to just coming in." Yeah, she told him to kiss and make up with her as a joke to see his reaction and she hoped that he still had his humor about him. Tokeru's humor and ability to make her laugh had been a big part in her falling for him.
Quite honestly, Meredith could say the same, that she didn't want to be without her other half again. She knew that he'd suffered and what killed her more than anything else about his suffering was that she hadn't been there to help ease it. Eden wanted to be there for him now and assure that he didn't have to suffer alone without her. If he was suffering, she'd be there alongside him either suffering with him or helping him to get through his suffering. That was precisely her reason for wanting him to come into the infirmary, that, and she wanted him to face Gail again and not hide from her forever. Hiding from and avoiding stuff just made the fear worse and the longer it took to face it, the harder and harder it got for everyone. There was no reason that Tokeru couldn't be in the infirmary talking with them so she was going to insist that he come in. Besides, this could be a chance to redeem himself and show Gail that he hadn't been himself and that he'd never harm her intentionally. 'Just come on in, Angel, you'll be fine, Gail will be fine. She knows you're here now and she's not panicking, I can hear her thoughts and feel a little bit of what she's feeling. She's not scared of you so come here and stop being a scaredy cat.'

Tokeru smiled, and gingerly stepped through the door, and walked over to his love. "Til Astridr" he said softly, kissing her lightly on the cheek.
"Apologies Gail, have pained, death saved, work on me, had done deeds. Thanks dove."
He hated the fact he seemed not to be able to speak normally any more, but it helped that his fiancé knew exactly how he felt and what he thought. No words were needed between them.

Edith would have had next to no idea what the hell Tokeru was calling her except for the fact that she could hear his mind and his mind knew the reason behind those words and what they meant. She smiled tenderly as Tokeru pecked her on the cheek and quickly pecked him back, nabbing his hand as he went to stand beside her. Eden looked over to him with a somewhat mischievous smile and softly tugged at his hand for no reason at all. "Goddess, huh?" she decided to repeat half of the meaning with a smile, "Yeah, like a goddess of destruction. You know, it'd be quite useful to have the powers of a goddess of desctruction since that'd make it much easier to just waste people." She chuckled softly as looked back to her Angel to see his facial response, though now that she was touching him, she knew how he was feeling and could already guess the response. No, that wasn't her reason for holding his hand, she wanted to hold his hand simply to let him know that she was there. Yes, it was much easier to sense his emotions when having actual contact with him, but that was the case with anyone and it was the same with reading their mind.
"See?" Edith insisted once Tokeru had come in and decided to apologize to Gail for what he did, "Don't you feel a lot better now after saying sorry and knowing that Gail isn't angry at you so that you don't need to hide from her?" She gave him a gentle reassuring nudge that was controlled, though it was a little harder than she'd intended and it caused him to stumble a single step to keep from falling. Yeah, she still hadn't gotten used to her new-found strength and she sometimes underestimated her abilities and sent people sprawling. She'd misjudged her strength in this instance just a tiny bit since he'd only been forced to take a step that'd been pretty harmless. "Oops," she said sincerely with a crooked smile that showed her slight embarrassment. "s**t, I really need to start getting used to that or I'm going to end up crushing my niece without meaning to and then William and Lydia are going to hate me." It actually was a fear of hers and thus far she'd refused to hold her niece and had somewhat avoided her in fear that she might be too rough with her and harm her, after all, it was hard holding back and remaining on a human level.
Yeah, it was sometimes difficult to decipher just exactly what Tokeru was talking about, however, she generally had an idea and didn't need to use her mind so much though it was useful at times when she didn't understand. However, right now she knew that he was apologizing to Gail for paining her and he was talking about death somehow saving her and working on him. She didn't quite understand that part but it was more meant for Gail to understand so she hopefully understood what Tokeru was meaning while Eden was kind of in the dark. "You're welcome, Angel," she thanked him with a gracious smile. Words weren't needed between them but they were definitely preferred in Meredith's case. She loved talking to Tokeru and hearing him respond to her. She loved everything about him. She could hear that Tokeru was frustrated that he coudln't speak normally and Edith gently patted his shoulder to help alleviate his frustration. 'Don't get discouraged, Angel, we'll figure this out, okay?' She then gave him a gentle kiss and squeeze of the hand.

Tokeru held her hand distractedly. He didn't know what to do. Edith wanted him back to normal, and he knew that it would never happen. He would never be the same way he was. He was broken, broken through six months of brutal interrogation and experimentation. His body, mind and his soul had been changed, never to be the same again, but he would try, try for his beloved, try for his betrothed.
He shook his head, shaking away the mist that was flowing through his head. "Thanks" he said simply, knowing that to say anything else would simply ruin the entire moment.

She wished that she could have her old Tokeru back, however, even if he was changed, she wasn't about to abandon him just because he'd been screwed over and traumatized. It killed her to know that she'd made him feel that he had to change himself for her and she wouldn't allow it. If he wasn't able to change, she would accept him as he was, it wasn't as though he was harming her or anything. He was just a little different, as if it'd been years in which she hadn't seen him as opposed to a month and boy had those years changed him, or rather, months. 'Hey, hey, hey. No need to change yourself, Angel, you're fine as you are. You're still my Angel, aren't you? You remember me, you love me, you're still the same Angel to me so don't go about changing yourself because I stray sometimes because I get too used to something.' There was no way that she was going to make him think that he had to change himself for her, it was nice to know that he wanted to try for her but she didn't want him to feel he had to. 'I'll always love you, no matter what, Angel. There's nothing you need to change, it's nice to know you're willing, but you don't need to.'
Meredith could feel Tokeru's negativity, how bad he felt and since she was so close to him, she too, felt herself feeling discouraged for him. 'You don't ruin the moment, Angel. Even if I don't understand you, I can hear what you're thinking or I can feel the meaning behind your words. My powers are getting stronger and they're actually becoming a little useful as opposed to a headache.' She smiled at him to let him know that everything was fine, that he didn't need to feel discouraged. Eden wanted with everything she had, for him to be happy as he'd once been. That was the one thing that she wanted him to change about himself, nothing else. 'Don't frown, Angel, it's not becoming of you. That's what you have to change. You have to show me a smile that you actually mean. And you have to let me know if there's any way that I'm able to help you through this all. You don't have to change, I just want you to be happy and not regret so much.' She gave him a meaningful hug just before her HIN device began beeping and she looked up the message.
Eden groaned as she decided to take the device and look up what'd been sent to her. She read the message over and apparently one of the hunters had picked up something going down at the docks. On top of that, there was blood there and the hunter was worried. Well, at least the guy had been smart enough to not go in there alone and get beaten up, killed or caught. She had to at least give him some credit for that. However, as a former hunter and shadow-stalker, it was her duty to make sure that people were safe and that nothing too serious was going down. Yeah, she was aware that there were daywalkers out and that they were near friggin' invincible, however, she wasn't about to back down just because somebody told her a story she hadn't seen for herself yet. Yeah, maybe she was stupid not to listen to people's accounts, but she had to see for herself and she was a vampire too, she wouldn't be too horribly outpowered. "I'm taking this message. Apparently something's a happening at the docks and no one else seems to have answered the call so I'm going to head down there."

Tokeru followed behind her quietly. She hadn't said he could follow her, but she hadn't told him not to either, beside she needed someone to watch over her and provide backup from the shadows, who better to do so than him. No one.
He made a short stop at the armory before following after her immediately.

Markus groaned, and looked at the dull lights of the infirmary, he got off of the small patient bed, and looked around the room. He saw a shadow lurking in the corner, and sighed. "Come out from their, let us get this over with. Spare me the 'Your Soul is Mine' crap and just get right too the me killing you." He smiled emptily, and yawned decadently.

Eden entered the infirmary to see some vampire she'd never seen before searching the premises and telling someone to come out though the only people that were there besides him were the doctors themselves, Gail and Elliott. "Who are you talking to?" Edith asked the vampire as she entered the infirmary. "Don't tell me you're going crazy from being in this place I mean it is white and makes you feel like you're in a psycho-ward but that's no reason to go psycho. Gail and Elliott are good doctors, the best if you ask me. Or perhaps you're talking to those walls because you're bored. If you are, I've been there and done that and I feel sympathy for you." She then perked up a little as if suddenly remembering something, "Oh yeah. I don't believe I've ever seen you around here before. What's your name Mister Vampire? You might be one of those 'mysterious' guys that don't wish to disclose personal info about themselves but I figured it was worth a try. And I'm Eden if you're wondering."

Apparently the guy wasn't planning on talking to her anytime soon so Eden decided that she was going to ditch. The guy could be a jerk if he wanted to but she wasn't going to stick around if that's how he was going to be. The least he could do was say hi and give her the time of day if she'd bothered to give him the time of day but apparently not. "Or don't tell me your name and just stand there ignoring me, that works too. Well, I'm off. If you're not going to talk I guess it's useless just standing around here waiting for you to say something when you apparently aren't going to say anything to me. Catch ya later." With that Edith exited the infirmary after saying hi to Gail and Elliott and picking up a blood packet and draining it on her way out.

Amnity panted as she walked into the infirmary, she clutched her bitten arm. She doesn't know how much time she has before the infection spreads. The wounded hunter leaned against the white walls for support.

Kerrigan walked into the infirmary, making a beeline for the fridge where Gail kept the medical packets of blood. Ignoring the woman as she opened the door to the fridge, she grabbed about 5 of them before disappearing into a side room and closing the door.
Almost frantically, she punctured her fangs into the first one, sucking it dry in a matter of seconds. Immediately she could feel the nourishment rushing through her. Puncturing her fangs through the second one, it too was gone in a matter of seconds. Within minutes she had drained all the packets she had brought with her, slumping back onto the bed in the room for a moment. It felt like she had not fed in months, even if it had been only about a week.
After a moment of resting, she felt more revitalized than ever. Even if her body was mentally exhausted, she was at least nourished enough to where she would be able to find Krii without wanting to kill someone. Walking out of the room, she gave Gail a small smile before exiting once more towards Uncles. If anyone had answers, it would be him.
