bump 861 Y'all gonna do the Christmas event? It was working on and off yesterday. I haven't checked today. The event consists of "donating" gold and things from our inventory. It's a gold sink. I guess gaia thinks it's better for us to give than receive. Well, there are items in return... 1000g up front and later (I think) a green captain's cap and cape. That's all I know so far. The shops caroling wasn't working yesterday. Still isn't working as of 10 am EST. The developer ramoneguru has a FAQ thread that talks about problems and delays: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/xmas-09/xmas-2009-event-faq/t.57062833/

I'm tired of dumping my gold. I think Gaia tries to do that to slow down inflation (many items in the market have doubled since it's introduction) but none of those efforts work. Harvey, where's the December 17 poll?

Bump #862
I'm not gonna do the event, but a friend of mine wants to do it, so I'm taking advantage of it and getting rid of worthless items in my inventory. 3nodding
