Perhaps keep a dream diary? Either online or in a little journal book. Write down anything that particularly stands out about your dreams. If you choose to interpret them is a different story, but I do enjoy reading sometimes of why I might be dreaming of something.
Just research 'dream meanings' or 'dream dictionary' in a search engine and this should help.
I'm wondering if violent sexual dreams are common in pregnant women? I have actually had a few of these, and about three alone last night. Rather scary as you might imagine.
Update!
I went for my meeting at the hospital yesterday. Basically filled out family history and talked about 'beginning the pregnancy' which I found a little comical, because I'm so far along. And there was only one other lady attending the meeting. So the nurse kept telling her what she was to expect and then turning to me and asking if I had experienced it.
xd
I have my meeting with the doctor for all the body exams on Friday. Can anyone tell me what I might be looking forward to with the first visit? Also note, I have never had a pap smear. I'm 24. I'm pretty nervous.

Apologies for the doube post, but I just had my ultrasound today and... IT'S A BOY! I'm all giddy and nervous. And now I have a week of bed rest because I apparently don't have enough fluid in there for the poor little bugger. Wish me luck. heart

Did they say how long you need to be on bedrest?

Hopefully just one week. I get another scan next week to see if my amniotic fluid has increased. If not, they decide what to do with me from there. I also have a slight urinary tract infection, so I'm on meds for that.

I hate being in bed though. Watching the day go by and having no one to talk to really sucks.

I'm not the only one pregnant, why do I feel like I'm the only one posting news here.
xd
Anyway, appointment yesterday I was upgraded to 'modified' bed rest, regular naps and 'lay down' periods. I was also told that drinking all the water that the other doctor told me to do was actually bad for me, as I was flushing out my electrolytes.
stressed
So I've been told I need to drink things such as Gatorade along with water. And he put on my form 'unspecified high risk pregnancy' because of my low amniotic fluid and weak cervix. So they've got me going in for yet another ultrasound in two weeks.

Good luck RaiRai. I know I'd be having a fit with that kind of bedrest, even the modified variety.

That's neat that the amniotic fluid can increase on its own if you let it. I wonder if it would have done that for me? We were about to wheel me over for my second-day ultrasound to see if it'd gone up when they decided to do the emergency C-section, so we never checked!
If you're needing drinks with electrolytes, I really like Propel, especially the Melon flavored. Or at least I did before I got pregnant, but I stopped drinking it when I was at the morning sickness stage and I haven't picked that back up again yet..
And it's weird how little appetite I have after a C-section (almost 3 weeks postpartum now.) Does that happen for anybody else who's had one? I almost never feel hungry, and when I eat, I have to force myself to finish about half of what I used to eat, and then I can't eat anymore.

Mystic, I had a c-section with my son and I didn't have any differences in appetite. I remember that day I wasn't hungry at all but within a day or two my appetite was back to normal.

I haven't had a c-section, but I haven't had much of an appetite since Logan was born. There's a few times where I've gotten really dizzy, and it turned out that I just hadn't had enough to eat on those days. I'd make myself eat something and would usually feel better. I haven't been very hungry though.

Congrats Valkyrie!!! heart
Well I had quite a scare at my doctors appt. Wednesday. When my midwife went to find the baby's heartbeat she couldn't. She had a student with her and she even tried! So we had to have an ultrasound done. In the end everything turned out okay. The baby was moving like crazy (legs and arms flailing everywhere) and they found a heartbeat then. I guess my uterus is tilting toward the back making it hard to find the heartbeat with the doppler thing. Susan (the midwife) didn't seem to worried after she found the heartbeat and saw movement but she has me scheduled for another ultrasound June 7th just to make sure. I know when they couldn't find that heartbeat I was scared to death! But thankfully the peanut seems to be okay!

Congrats to you, Valkyrie!

And that would scare me too, Syll. I still get scared when watching them scan, looking at all the bubbles and bits coming in and out of focus and wondering if everything looks right. Not that I'd know because half the time I can't make a single blood thing out on that screen.

Thanks, Syllandra and RaiRai! I've been waiting for this for a long time. Syllandra, that must have given you quite a scare. I'm glad to hear they were able to find the heartbeat on ultrasound!

LOL RaiRai, I know what you mean! If it weren't for the tech pointing everything out I would have little to no clue what the heck I am looking at!
