Jake nodded a little. "So...umm, Sanvi..." he began.
"You lived with Kisa, didn't you?" Sanvi asked. Jake nodded a little. "Yeah," he said.
"And what of Hanyuu?" she asked next. Jake looked down, almost sadly. "She ran off. I'm afraid...I don't know what happened to her. I haven't seen her since she left." Sanvi looked down as well, sadly.
There was a small rustle behind them, and an arrow appeared out of the trees, pointed at the group. It was hard to tell its exact target. Neither Jake nor Sanvi seemed to realize this.
((btw, I think I've decided that the whole deal with Hanyuu at least never happened way back when...))

Faith didn't notice.
It was Garin's attention that was caught by this. He moved swiftly, in between Sanvi and the attacker.

"What the...?!" Sanvi said when Garin stepped in front of her.
The arrow flew towards Garin and Sanvi but would have missed by a bit.

Garin batted the arrow away, receiving a small wound for his effort. He then leapt forward at their attacker.

"Garin!" Sanvi yelped.
The attacker was a young girl. She had long silvery-brown hair, pale skin, and wore an old, torn, dress. She had a roughly-made bow and arrows and drew an old dagger when Garin attacked her.

The girl didn't put up much of a fight. She couldn't seem to make up her mind between fighting or running.

Once that was done, Garin grabbed both of her wrists and held them behind her. He glanced to see if the others had followed him.

Sanvi was just kind of standing there, a little in shock.
Jake was standing protectively in front of Faith.
The girl struggled a little. She tried to get her wrists free from Garin's hold on them.
