Oh dear. Crash was confident enough that he could perform a hostage rescue. Nathan twirled in position, throwing the fire-knife in his hand out into the non-fatal burst he had practiced before, and with the same twirl placed himself between Anna and Crash. He probably should've pushed her to the side, but it didn't occur to him.

When he arrived, there was a huge crowd outside the door. He pushed through to find that the room was crowded as well, although the main fight floor was clear.
In the clearing was a little girl, wearing oil-stained overalls and looking around with huge eyes.

Anatoly walked to the edge of the main ring, bowed and stepped on.

Just before Crash would have slammed into Nathan, he suddenly dipped, sliding to Nathan's right, and spun like a top, his leg shooting at the backs of Nathan's at incredible speeds.
The girl looked at him with huge eyes as the crowd went wild.

The girl pointed a tiny finger at Ice 1. The crowd burst into derisive laughter at Anatoly.
As Nathan went into the air, Crash spun, pushing Anna back lightly, then turned back and caught Nathan just before he hit the ground.
Then he threw him at Blaine.

Anatoly nodded, stripping Skulltap with the finger he'd had on it. "I expected as much." He placed it in his pocket.
He slowly traced the Ice 1 Mysticker, making the armor and knuckles he'd used against Stark. "Ready when you are," he declared, sliding into a fighting stance.

The girl simply stood, looking at Anatoly, her arms drooping at her sides.
The crowd began to whistle at Anatoly. Clearly, they were on Kitt's side.

Anatoly began to shuffle forward, his finger on the Ice mysticker, ready to fire ice spikes on a moment's notice.

After a few feet, his breathing was ever so slightly labored. It felt to him as though he was walking uphill. Other than that, nothing.

Anatoly assumed this was what Toolbox was doing.
He had a solution for that.
He completed his swipe of the Ice 1.
He generated three spikes in front of him, launching them at her. He moved forward slowly, so as not to labor himself at all.
