I quickly glanced from the doors to Bethany. "If you put it that way how could I refuse? Though I think I woud like to have a snack as well." I said with a wolfish grin. Glancing back towards the doors I noticed one had closed but the other had opened a little bit farther. "Come on their scent is getting closer." I said as I put myself between Bethany and the door.

I grinned reassuringly. "Don't worry if they even harm a hair on Bethany's hair...if they even get that far...Joshua will show them a side of him that I've only seen once." Even though I said that though I decided to meet up with him, after all it wouldn't do if he accidently scared Bethany while protecting her, I reasoned. Walking out the door I grabbed my hat and put it on.

[ack! so sorry I haven't posted this last week!]

Bethany grinned at Josh when he smiled at her, but when he put himself between her and the door, she knew something was up. This was confirmed by Liz and Sebastion coming up to the pair. "Um... anyone wanna go to my house for hot cocoa?" she asks nervously, her eyes darting from door to door.

At the mention of hot cocoa I smiled at Bethany. "That sounds like a wonderful idea." I said as I glanced at the doors. They had closed when Elizabeth and Sebastian showed up and I could just barely hear their grumbles of disappointment. Looking at Elizabeth I noticed she kept her distance from Bethany and I shook my head. "Sorry about earlier Miss Elizabeth it's just I tend to get protective of those I care about." I thought hoping Elizabeth would hear it.

As I walked to Joshua and Bethany I noticed doors closing and smiled. Hearing Bethany's offer I nearly laughed. "You must have figured out how to control him." I said as I remembred how Vivian would make him hot cocoa when she wanted something from him. "I agree with Joshua that does indeed sound like a wonderful idea."

Liz nods her head ever so slightly at Joshau's thoughts. SHe smiles as the door closed and the thoughts turned toward their failure to get Bethany. "Hot cocoa sounds like fun." Liz says smiling.

A light blush graced Bethany's cheeks as she giggled like a love-sick school-girl. Her fingers gently squeeze back as she leads them out of the manor and back to her house.

As they walk, she explains about the things they might need to know. "Um... if you /have/ to touch one of the outside door knobs, please wear gloves, my parents kind of insisted that they be made out fo some kind of silver.... or coated in silver... I don't remember which." she starts rambling, and the stops dead in her tracks. "Aw, crap. I just remembered. Anyoen here going to go up in ash and smoke if they come near a cross?" she asks, looking at them as if embarrassed to have forgotten this detail. "Cause... um... mom hired someone to stitch crosses on the back of the welcome mats at the front and back door. I'll have to take them up to the attic if it's going to hurt anyone." She seems to be talking to the group in general, but is looking mostly at the were-vamp.

Bethany looked relieved. "Ya, mom kinda freaked out when she heard that I was moving to this town... and when she couldn't talk me out of it, she wanted all the precautions in place." she said with a roll of the eyes as she pulled her keys out of her pocket and unlocked the front door to her house, forgetting all about her moped that was left back at Blood Manor. "Well, watch your step, I'm still sorting through all the boks to decide which ones to sell and which ones to keep..." she says, indicating towards the forest of literature that plagued her home. "I've got two extra rooms free, so if anyone else needs a place to sleep, let me know and I will get the books moved up to the attic, ok?" she offers before wandering down one trail towards the kitchen.

[I'll do a quick sketch of the layout later for everyone, I guess. LOL]

Liz smiles and walks into the house, "Its good protection against normal vampires." She raises her eyebrows at all the books in the house. "Wow. Are most of these about vampires, werewolves and other 'supernaturals'"
