"Oh goodie. Now Sarge wants us to be in one big group to draw enemy fire and get rid of us in one single attack. All because he doesn't think highly of strategic advances to the rear," Theta mumbled to himself, tossing away his blast cannon.

Zeta nodded. "I'm inclined to agree with the Captain. It'll be easier to keep warm and safe if we're in a group. Plus, the coloration of our armor makes us hard for enemies to spot against the snow anyhow."

"Doc must be colorblind..." Theta mumbled to himself. "I look like snow and maybe a yellow patch, but flyboy and robo-kid aren't necessarily standard colors... and Sarge is a patch of green on an icecube. Blend in, huh? Figures..."
Theta plodded along, leaving the blast cannon in the snow. It was useless, for the outdoors. But if some barve wanted to carry extra weight around that he wouldn't use, it was fine by Theta. All the more likely to have someone else catch the blasterbolt...

"How far away did they land us anyhow? Five klicks? Ten klicks? Heck, that's too generous. Probably figured that twenty klicks would be a nice walk." Theta rambled on inside his helmet, not really asking a question to anyone. It was audible, but only if you wanted to listen.

"That's quite handy," Zeta muttered to Sigma audibly, shuddering a bit. He turned to Theta, "If you didn't put your cold-weather gear on like the rest of us, don't complain if you don't blend in. White backpacks, masks, insulation, and kamas are hard to distinguish from the snow."
