He would throw the cloak over his head, trying the jutsu as he was walking, even though it wasn't covering his entire body.
After the failure, he tried it two more times. Failing then too.

He would throw the cloak over his shoulder instead now, giving a yawn, his knees a little wobbly.

As he came up on the academy he would stop and let the cape fall off his shoulder, catching it with his right hand. Pulling it up, preparing to attempt the jutsu.

He finally got upto the academys doors and just stood there. Why was he going to go back in as a failure that couldn't even complete an academy jutsu. He felt sick to his stomach.

He would let out a small sigh and concentrate his chakra as he formed a seal. He was building a little chakra to try the jutsu again. But he burnt out a little bit too much chakra. He would have to stop and gasp for a moment. [Fail]
Obviously not happy with the results he would immediately try again squeezing his eyes closed as he did so, after a few seconds without any change he could feel, he knew he hadn't done it.. [Fail]
And with that he was almost done trying but would hold up the cloak over him one more time, having nothing happen he would drop it. [Fail]

He would stop for a moment and just turn to lean against the wall. Popping his knuckles he would think to himself as he got a little rest waiting to get started again.

Dropping it back in front of him he would yawn. He had failed this jutsu so many times that it was boring the hell out of him. Alas, he had to do it.

Rai after so many attempts was beginning to lose hope, so many techniques had taken him much much longer than the rest of the class, but he was just as deterimined to become a genin and with the exams closeing fast he had to hurry. Rai would take a deep breath and simply pul the blanket over his body in the main hall way channeling chakra threw it to try and conceal himself, however the elements had a different idea blowing the blanket out of his hands. Rai stood with a massive depressive aura looming over him perhaps he'd never become a genin.

Rest Rai would slide down the wall falling on to the floor looking across the hall way at the empty wall, he would begin to dwell on the idea of this seemingly easy technique but it some how caused so many problems for him.

He would just let the cloak sit over his head as he halfassedly attempted it again. He was expecting failure now. So it was sure to come to him.

After failing over and over again, it seemed as though he had no resolve left. But at that same time he would have that fire in his eyes. He knew there was something he had to do with this experience one day. He would try again, but it seemed as if all his effort was in vein, even still./size]

Rest- After failing once again Rai began to belive he didn't has what it takes to become a gennin, perhaps he'd be nothing more than a civilian. "....No." He coudln't allow himself to give up so easily he would take the cloth again and ready up use the technique agian.
He would now be risen to his feet, forming a few seals really fast to channel his chakra to one point. With his level of chakra control though it was kind of a chaotic appearance. He would try with his cloak falling around him, almost getting it. He would try again and again, until he was almost completely out of chakra, still to no avail.

He would just continue to push it. Making a little bit of a grunting sound, as he was pushing his chakra to its absolute limit after this long day. The cloak would seem to wrap around his body starting to hide his presence until he was completely masked from the world. it would seem he stayed that way, because the next time anyone would see him would be at home, in bed. He had completely ran himself dry on these last couple days. Now.. for some well earned rest.

This was it, the exam was over. Before he knew it, he was sure to be a gennin. He was almost positive on the fact. He knew he would need some way to train once this happened. He didn't know if he would get a jounin teacher, be expected to train on his own, or be sent on individual missions right away. But no matter the case, he knew he needed to prepare for it. As he made his way in to the academy doors again, his shirt would have a small red pool. Where his shirt had been soaking up the blood he had been losing from Hiei's kunai that make a small wound that was almost like a laceration in his left arm. But he payed no mind to that.
He was here to collect ninja scrolls. But just of some lower level ninjutsu. He would have filled his pack with scrolls on his side after only a short while. Not even paying attention if anyone had been watching, or if anyone was even around. He found three scrolls that were now safely stored away as he would make his way back out the door.
