Jac coughed, trying not to laugh. He failed miserably. His hand held him up against the wall, briefly, before he regained himself. That was why he kept Nicolas around. The guy was funny as hell. He mentally reviewed his briefing. "Jake Prior, teacher. He openly had a non-magical weapon within the school grounds. Openly threatened to murder most of the school. Empty threat with two expert water instructors, but the students aren't always aware of such details. He is also rumored in the station to have illegal substances, but I can't say more than that." Ah yes, the Elemental Stones, they were not allowed around school, too much risk. Not illegal in the real world, but he needed to lie. It made him ill to lie to Nic.

Once Liriale was comfortable leaving Aura and Lilith to studying their collected specimens under the microscope alone, Liri snuck into the medical office to check up on Emma. Seeing that her patient and friend was awake, she asked gently, "How are you feeling?" as she stepped into the office and closed the door.

Leah walked over the her desk and withdrew a bag of sardines which caught Elfida's immediate attention. "Alright, I believe it was Phenia's and Chyna's turn to meet with Elfida." Phenia lifted herself away from Amir's shoulder and asked Chyna, "Would you like to feed Elfida?"

Amir sighed inwardly as Phenia turned her attentions to Chyna. She didn't know what she was playing at, but he knew Phenia was up to something. The two of them were very close, having grown up in the same sea side neighborhood in California and were surf buddies. Phenia had been there for Amir during his darkest hours, he knew she was over protective....could she...nah...of Tsuki?

Amir turned to look at Tsuki. He felt it before looking at her facial expression. Tsuki seemed really down in spirits. Amir felt a panging sensation in his chest. "Are you alright, Tsuki?" he asked tentatively.

At hearing Phenia ask her if she wanted to feed the Gryphon or not, her attention drew away from her notes and she perked up slightly. "You bet I do!" she said happily as she made her way over to the bag of sardines. "Though the only drawback is holding a stinky fish..." she said under her breath. She picked one up by the tail and stepped cautiously to the Gryphon, nervous and excited at the same time. She was scared itwould consider her hand as well as the fish, but from Leah's lessons she knew it wasn't plabable.

The fish dangled next to the Gryphon's beak, while Chyna's hand moved slowly, closer and closer, to Elfida's mouth. "Please don't think my hand looks tastey, El," she whispered as she neared Elfida's beak.

The Headmaster had ceased the action of getting up to greet the newcomer when Nicholas reassured him not to. He was surprised to have been surprised by the Dean's knowledge. He smiled and gave him a silent go-ahead: a simple nod. Once the Dean was out of sight, the soft, pleasant expression that had dwelled on the Headmaster's face was taken over by a grimmer one that had resulted from Jake's removal from campus. He felt regret from his actions, but he had no choice. Jake's actions were threatening, and though he would have never thought of Jake to do anything, the students were afraid, and that was something the Headmaster would never tolerate. He never wanted his students to fear coming to school. He wanted this place to be a safe haven and somewhere where they could go if they ever needed anything. Fear had no place inside a sanctuary.

Then there was the matter of his class. Everyone in his elective class would have to pick a new elective, but his beginner water class...that would be difficult replacing. Hopefully he could find someone new, but for now, he would have to substitute once more. How did he always end up subbing for them?

An announcement rang through the school in the Headmaster's voice: For those who were in Mr. Prior's physical education class, I regret to inform that you must pick a different elective starting tomorrow. For the rest of the day you may choose to do whatever you please.

Suddenly, someone entered the University, and the Headmaster smiled. He cleared off the items and got a fresh pot of tea. By the time he was done, there was a knock at his door.

Amir's voice, or rather, question, caused her to bring her paper to her chest, to cover it up, in alarm. In any other circumstance, she would have told him of her sorrows. However, now that it involved him and his girlfriend, she made a mental promise never to tell him.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine," she responded, unable to say his name. As she lied, she dared not to look up at him and instead blankly gazed at one spot in the mat. Her vacancy of thought would prevent her from realizing that this display would only alert his further.

Ben walked out of his office in his black hoodie and yawned. He looked sleepily up and down the halls before making his way down the steps and to the garden. He walked down the steps and stopped infront of the headmasters office before countinuing his way to the garden.

He stepped out into the cold breeze the ruffled his hair and blew through his hoddie. After standing in the sun for a few minutes he decided that he would get a seat on one of the benches and enjoy the peace and quiet. He walked over to the benches not really feeling anything nor paying attention to his surroundings. He sat down and rested his head against the back of the bench; he just sat there, thinking.

Mr. Talodarrius Salderon had just arrived in New York at 12:30P.M. A couplehours later he was at the school. Talo wore a pair of worn jean, gym shoes, and a T-shirt that said, “Italy,” and a very large duffle bag. He knocked at the door first, but no receiving an answer he just decided to head on in. If anyone had seen him the probably would have thought he was a student. Talo was in no way worried about this. He looked around the place a bit and briskly walked to the double doors that said, “Headmaster,” on them. He gave them a hard knock and said, “Hello? Headmaster?...” He adjusted the duffle bag on his shoulder, “It’s Talodarrius Salderon. You hired me?”

At the mention of his name, the Headmaster opened the doors with a smile. He would have opened the doors on the first sound of the knock, but it had taken more than a second to walk to the doors.

"Welcome, Mr. Salderon! Please, step inside my room," he said, gesturing inside his office with an opened hand. Once they were both inside, a new pot of tea and two cups were there. He had removed the items from Nicholas's meeting while Talodarrius had been walking inside the University.

"Please, sit," he asked, only sitting down after the other had done so. He poured Talodarrius's tea, then his own.

"Do you have any questions before you start? Your classroom, 3D, is on the third floor,"
he informed the new teacher before taking a sip of his tea. He was glad to have found a new teacher so soon. The beginner water class would not have to suffer through another substitute session.

Talo smiled and walked into the office with his bags in hand. He tossed it down and took a seat. Then he graceously accepted the headmasters tea. "Thank you, Sir." Talo said. He took a few sips of his tea.

Talo then listened to what the headmaster had to say before nodding and saying. "Well, I don't have any questions other than where is my room?"

"Inside your classroom there will be a mark only you can identify and be able to activate. One activated, it will open up a passageway where you may stay, if you so choose," the Headmaster said, knowing that Talodarrius fully intended to live at the school. "Second period is almost over, so you may feel free to spend the rest of the day doing whatever you please," he added with a smile. There was no point to starting a class this late, so he shouldn't have to worry about teaching right away. He would rather have the teacher prepared.

Emma gave Liriale a small smile. "Better...kinda. I've got a bad feeling, what happened, everyone feels tense." Her voice was coarse, and her eyes red. The light hurt, yet she knew she needed to be awake. Someone was here...but she couldn't place the feeling. Why did they feel so familiar?

Liriale smiled at Emma, though her smile faltered when Emma asked what had happened. She was about to answer when the door opened and to Liri's chagrin, Nic came prancing in.

Moments ago...

Nic smile never faltered. He was genuinely ecstatic to see his friend. But at the same time his mind raced through the list of all the possible red tape and illegal items that have happened. Nic's mind mulled over the Elemental Stones. Hopefully nothing else would happen while Jac was here. That was the last thing they needed. "Well, seems like you have that fiasco down right. I'll lead you to the Headmaster's office...." Nic was showing Jac the way to the Headmaster's office when he noticed that there was a meeting in progress. Must be for the new Professors...."Well, change of plan! How about I show you around!...Let's start at the second floor! I have someone I want you to meet!" Nic said in a happy tone as he steered Jac up the stair and opened the door that led to the medical office.

Jac was chuckling, while he followed Nicolas. Nicolas was his usual exburhent self. He followed him into the room, and grinned over at Liriale, "So you must be the one Nicolas kept talking about..." He bowed a bit to her. His grin never faltering. "If he likes you as much as he seems too, he'll never betray your heart." Not that Nicolas would've liked him to say any of this, but who cares? Emma squeaked, silently. Oh no, no...he can't be here of all places. She pulled the covers over her head.

Liri's mouth fell open as Jac's words took meaning in her head. Blushing like a tomato, Liri pushed Jac's words aside. So Nic had been talking about her, huh!? She was about to reach over the the IV stand and use it as a bat against Nic's head when she noticed Emma hide under the covers. Is she alright?!? "Emma?" Liri asked hesitantly.

Jac grinned over at Nicolas, mischief twinkling in his eyes. Then he heard her name...He looked over as Emma peeked out of the covers. She squeaked and hid back under the covers. "Go away, Jacques. You're not supposed to be here." Jacques gave her a look. Emma was his fiance, and she was here.
"Emma, come here," Jac replied.
"I can't move, jerk. Go away."
"Jerk? You left me at the altar..."
Emma retreated again, she didn't want to see him.
