Ryu smirks some yet nods "perhapes, but still, it would be good to befriend her, never know when you might need her help."
Kumouri hadn't in fact been watching adi most of the night. He does look to Adi when being addressed and says "no nothing."

Raven finished quietly talking with Aideen, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder as she left and moved away to busy herself with her family.
Aideen looked up at Lyoko and flashed a not so happy grin before walkingtowards the door her hand resting on her stomach.
"She doesn't know does she?" Came the telepathic voice in Ryu's head as she paused at the door frame her back turned to hide her pale face.
"You should come clean as it won't back fire on you later. Please excuse me though."
Aideen disappeared outside and found a quiet corner to get fresh air and calm her unruly stomach.

Ryu heard the mental message and gave a nod, secrets could not be kept now. He looks to Lyoko and gently takes her hand. "Come I would speak privately with you." He'd then lead her to a side room, leaving the guests to enjoy themselves. once alone with Lyoko he says to her "No doubt kitsuna has told you of Aideen and I having been close once. Well truth is we had been close enough to mate once. But with dragons, the female can choose when the eggs can be fertilized and so now it seems is when she has choosen to do so. There will be another child of mine, bore by her. i am sorry I'd not told you sooner, i was worried if I had, you'd not wish to marry me, and I say this now because i wish not to keep anything from you." He moves to one knee and bows his head to Lyoko "forgive me for not speaking of this sooner."
Kumouri looks to Raven as she nearsand smiled to her. "Did you and aideen have a nice chat?"

She was stunned into silence. She looked down at him on his knee and finally had something to say. "I... I need to be alone." She went through another door, not wanting to pass their guests again. She wandered through the house until she came to an exit. She was in the back so she made her way to the garden. Kari wanderd up next to her and laid down next to her once she was sitting. she didn't say anything, she just stared at the ground in thought.

Ryu sighed and cursed himself. he could only hope that she would take the fact that he married her as a sign that he truely loved her. He stood and waited for several minutes before basically taking the same path as her. He was soon standing near the garden, but still some distance from her. he didn't near because he didn't want to risk doing ot saying something to ruin things. he simply watched her.

Kari pawed at her leg, begging ehr to say something. "Maybe I shuold've focused on marying into the coven... If he mated with her he shou;d've married her instead of me." Tears escaped her eyes and dripped down her face. "And why does she have to decide now!? Why couldn't she go find another dragon to mate with instead of trying to make my marraige fall apart now!"

"It doesn't have to fall apart if you don't let it." he calls to her. He then moves over to her and says "I love you, not her. yes she's an old friend, but that is how it will remain." If allowed he has a seat by her. "Lyoko, when all was said and done, i chose you, because I love you. please do not doubt this."

Ryu sighed and said "i didn't think she would impose this upon me, telling you this. But we are married now and it is not right to keep secrets." he wraps his arm around her, if permitted and says "I don't wish to lose you Lyoko for i do turely love you, for better or worse, through good times and bad. that was in the vowes we spoke not but an hour ago. please do not let this tear us apart, not after we'd given our vowes to be for eachother and only eachother."

Ryu pulls her into a hug, holding her close, his head resting on her shoulder. "I don't know if such can be done now. but please my dear Lyoko, don't leave me. You have brought me happiness beyond that of mere lustful nights in bed. I love you and only you" She might feel a tear of two hit the back of her neck as he holds her.

Ryu looks ot her and says "I know she won't give them up, our kind is a dying race so any female baring children will want to raise them. But if I tell her she must go and is not welcome here, will you promise to stay with me?"

Ryu nods and says "then it will be done my dear, I shall see to it personally." If allowed he kisses her on the lips, a loving and reassureing kiss to let her know she is the only one for him.
