Receiving the message from Lolita he smiled as he entered another dark hallway," As expected, Shade return. I had a feeling she would know you were there one way or another." he spoke to Shade. "Yes master" Shade obeyed and materialized into a small black human-like figure with its purple eyes and quickly exited the library shadow by shadow and back to Raistlin.

"You got me wrong there," his accent stuck out for a second. "I was lookin' at yer hair. I jus' can't help but be caught starin' at a girl wit locks like yers. Can ya blame me? It jus' looks so soft."
He almost immediately ran his fingers through his own hair, as if controlling an unusual urge.

"Well," he sighed. "I guess since it seems you're ignoring me I'll be headin back to my room now."
Nicodemus got up from the table and walked out of the library and rushed back to his room.

Raistlin saw the man zip by him as he was making his way back towards the library. There was something he had intended to researching, but never got around to it. Now that his shift was over he decided to fit a little time to do so. Although he was just told off not too long ago by Lo-lo he still pushed open the large doors and walked into the large clearing of the library. Looking around the library shelves and trying to remember where he had seen someone take the book from once before he came upon a familiar spot. Walking over that part of the shelf he started skimming over the books. Finally he came across it, Alchemy: The Basics. Pulling it from the shelf he took it under his arms and walked over to a nearby windowsill. The marble windowsill was more than enough to support his weight so Raistlin jumped up onto it and stood in a crouching position as he flipped over the covers and began reading.

Sighing, Lolita flicked her wrist, utilizing a few minorspells to clear the table of papers and her satchel. Or a repetitive speech charm....

Raistlin finished ready the book after a few hours had passed. He then let out a little sigh before closing his eyes. Then clapping his hands together and forming a few hand movements then placing his open hands onto the ground. As he made contact with the ground sparks flews from beneath his hands. Then as he slowly raised his palms a knife appeared from out of the ground. It was a basic knife with no special designs, but it was a knife that wasn't there before. Raistlin picked up the knife and threw it at a nearby wooded post and it stuck perfectly " There, I think I have a hold of the basics." he muttered to himself. Then dropping down he took the book back to the shelf and receiving another book, Alchemy: The Basics Volume 2. Then returned to his spot and began reading again.

It didn't take Raistlin as long to read this volume. Placing the book next to him he began making hand signs again. Then again as he did before he placed his open hands onto the ground and sparks began to shoot. Instead of anything forming this time the sparks shot across the room to a nearby gargoyle statue. As the sparks came to the statue they began shooting around it. Suddenly the statue blinked and jumped up off of the stand it was on an scurried over to Raistlin. With another hand sign then placing his hands on the gargoyles head it returned to a inanimate statue once again. " I am really beginning to enjoy this Alchemy stuff, but I think this is enough for today." Returning the book back he then headed back for the exit.

Daniel floated up through the floor into the middle of the library. Taking a look around, he noted how it looked exactly the same. "3 months and nothing different." He strolled around then took a look at the shelves. Figured it was time to get started. He looked around at the books on the shelves and looks for books on runes. Pulling a book off a shelf, he opened it and began reading.

Raistlin was interested in learning more of that Alchemy stuff so he returned to the library to further research its methods. "I wan't something a little more difficult than the basics this time." He said looking through the assortments of books lined up on the shelves. He moved through the different Alchemy books until he found one he liked. "Alchemy: the second step" Raistlin read the title out loud to himself. He walked out to the middle of the room where he took a seat and began reading the now open book.

Calli steps into the library and looks around quietly. "Hm... nice." She mutters to herself, wondering how it was she had never been in this room before in the entire time she had been here. Surely it hadn't been built in the short time she had been gone traveling. Then again, she was sure in such a large mansion there were plenty of rooms she hadn't seen yet. Calli smiles softly, happy to have found this room, then walks over to a shelf and starts browsing through the selection of books. The library was so large, she didn't even see Raistlin at first, though she did sense another person in the library somewhere.

Raistlin looked halfway through the book before setting the book, still open, on the floor and then putting his hands together and forming a hand sign then as he hit the floor with his palms sparks began to fly. As he raised his hands a huge statue formed in front of him. Then as Raistlin made more hand signs then placing his hands on the statue it began multiplying around Raistlin and coming to life. "Alright, I got that part." He said picking the book back up and reading again.

"Impressive." Calli comments as she steps out from behind a shelf, not too far from one of the moving statues. She'd sensed the magic at work and decided to come on over and check it out. She had to admit, she hadn't expected to such large statues being created right in the middle of the library, of all places. Calli studies one of the moving statues for a moment, then glances at Raistlin and smiles. "I see you're working as hard as ever. How goes the never ending training?" She asks brightly. Calli seemed to be much more lively, much happier since right before she'd left the Haven, as if a weight or two had been lifted from her shoulders since then.

"In a matter of fact, this has been the hardest I've trained myself in a long while. I stopped paying attention to my skills and more on my personal life. I just now got a urge to want to do some intense practice." He admitted shrugging his shoulders slightly before closing the book. Then by clapping his hands together and making hand signs again the placing them on the statues the ground looked to as if eaten the statues as they were once again swallowed back into it.

Calli watches the ground swallow up the statues again, impressed that not a single mark or small ripple was left behind, then nods. "Well, it doesn't show that you stopped for a while. Anyways, so how is life going for you right now?" She asks as she walks over to a table and leans back against it, clasping the edges with her hands as she looks at him curiously. She was interested to hear what had been going on around here while she'd been gone.

She asks as she walks over to a table and leans back against it, clasping the edges with her hands as she looks at him curiously. I feel weaker even if it don't show. Other than that, life is...how can I put it...life. This and that pretty much. Master Kenshin dissapeared for a while after he had just taught me a few more tricks that us yokai possess and other than that I've just been roaming the halls looking for enertainment." He shrugged at the first few sentences before looking back at her and finishing what he had been saying. When his was finished talking he leaned back in the chair and snapped his fingers. When he had done that a black shadowy figure appeared next to him. It looked to be a small, black, human-like creature with purple eyes. Raistlin held out the book," Please return this for me Shade." He asked the creature and it responded with an eerie high-pitch squeal," Yes, master Raistlin." It grabbed the book and slid into the shelves.
