with out wanting it, the demon inside the swrd took him over. he tryed to keep it, out, but it was by far way stronger than him. when the demon over took him it looked around, seeing everything, he say a familar face. Aubry. one of hsi old freinds. but to the demon, old freinds needed a proper greeting. the 800 yearold demon lept. once he moved a human couldnt see him. he disapeared, than reapeaerd next to Aubry, relly fast, before she could draw the wip. instead of killing her, like a proper welcome, he knocked her back into the wall. the only reson he didnt kill her is because when the were fighting together, he had feeling for her. now most of them were gone, cause her dad and 3 other demons impriznd him in his own blade. he looked at her like you would a frerind you havnt seen in a while, but also like a person whoo hurt you.

"You!" aubry yelped. her eyes glowed purple. "well," she said like she was in a trance "if you are going to be a demon to fight, so will i!" and with a burst of purple, she changed to her demon form. her eyes glowed purple, and she shot purple flames out of her hands. she then brought out her sword, and went straight for the demon.

the demon laughed. he was in the boys body, and he still had power. as she lunged the demon turnd and deflected her blade then hitting her in the shoulder with the pomel of the katana. "its me! Durand Hailfire!" the fallen angel!", the one your dad traped in a blade. the blade they tryede to hide, the blade this boy found!' the demon Lord gave off an erie laugh, then all of a sudden she got a hit on him, she sliced his arm, clipped it, and at the same time the boy broke through to his origanal mind, the demon was sucked back into the blade, and the boy colasped on the ground. he wasnt exausted, just in disbalife that the demon didnt kill, like usual.

Aubry turned back into her normal form, clutching her shoulder. and then walking over to the colasped boy. she turned to the girl. and said weakly,
"get a teacher, fast." and with that, she too colapsed onto the floor.

Xantos knew what would happen if his uncle found out that he was in a fight so he told the girl that everything was ok, and thety were just having fun, he picked up the girl, then limped bach to his room, arm blleding and all, once he got her in his room, he laid her on the bed, then went back to the hallway and cleand up the blood, he told the other girl if she wanted to she could come with him to his room, or go back to her room.
once Xantos got back into his room, he tryed to tend to her shoulder as much as he could, and any other visable wounds. he then collasped in the corner, exausted, then he slept. he slept more soundly than ever in his life.

Aubry was neither asleep or awake. she finally woke up. wincing in pain. she looked at her shoulder. someone had attemted to heal it. she sat up slowly, knewing that if she moved too quickly, she would black out. she looked in the corner, and saw the boy sleeping. she then just layed back down, and fell asleep.

Durand said to Xantos as they walked through the blackness.".......................................................

...............Xantos then woke up from his dream........still seeing Aubry on the bed, he then went back to dreaming.................................................

Riane backed away quickly, wanting to get away from who she thought would be her good friends, but at this point, it seemed that she could have no friends. She ran as fast as she could to the front lawn and sat down by herself and cried. She didn't care who saw her anymore, she would never have any friends so it didn't matter to her.

Aubry woke up to Xantos muttering in his sleep. she got up, feeling pain in her shoulder almost at once. and walked over, and woke him up.
"hey, i wanted to thank you... you got most of the poison out. if you had let me go to the hospital, they would have found out what i am... so i wanted to thank you..." she smiled painfully. and walked back to her dorm, and got the rest of the poison out of her shoulder. she was thinking of how to destroy that demon sword. it must have taken over him already... she thought

Xantos woke up, startled by his own dreams.he walked over to hte window where it is easy for him to think. he now kneew, it was not him to have freinds, and whoever controols everything, is making sure he dosnt have freinds. then he saw the girl run into the middle of the lawn, in the night. he then shimmyed down a ple that ran next to his window, (he was only a couple levels up so it was alright. he ran over to her, and for once he knew what to say. for the first tim eever, he said the word he told himself that he would never say. "Im sorry." "i didnt want that to happen.", i didnt want you to get hurt." its my fault, for the want to fight.", im not asking you to forgive me, just know im sorry."
xantos started to walk away when he felt anger, and sadness, anger for not being good enough for a freind.........

Aubry then remembered about the other girl and her dagger.it had all started as a fun fight... she thought bitterly. she went in the hallway, and found her dagger. she then started to look for her. she then caught sight of her walking in her dorm. she walked up, and knocked.

Riane heard the knock and walked to her door. "What's up?" Riane said, acting a bit guarded after seeing that it was Aubry.
