Anezka stepped carefully as she took a few strides from the ferry, gathering herself and regaining her "land-legs". She stretched a bit, then began taking in the new surroundings.
Leshya'e picked up her skirt and tucked it into her belt, giving her more freedom to move, then readied Alexander for the ferry departure. As she latched him back up to the wagon tongue, One of the many dockmasters approached her and laid out the many license options for her.
Taking a moment to think about it, she reached into her money pouch, "I'll take the Specialty Item and Gambling Licenses and..." Pausing to glance at her daughter, she added, "And the Magical Liability Insurance."

That's 170 out of 300.

Oqaia X-Men Lover DeArca was stunned that so many licenses were needed to do things on this island and it seemed that purchasing them would deplete him of all his money. Oh well, if one needs access to things, he must make the sacrifice for it. Luckily the money Axel had created was well needed for a case like this. "Excuse me sir. Could I perhaps buy the follorwing?" Specialty License - 45 Personal Insurance - 80 Total - 125 (My Banya Fortune should cover the first license ans the rest should cover the second...I think?) "And could you tell me where I can camp out my wagon, please? The dockmaster before DeArca stamped out the license form and the insurance sheet and handed them over. "The wagon can not be camped on the beach, but you and your caravan can go up the boardwalk for mooring." DeArca figured that would probably make sense. And he doubted Marco would like staying on the beach for too long. "Alright then! We'll go with our caravan....I should've thought about Hotel Licenses though...hmm" He put a hand to his chin as he got on his wagon. The sound of a man's offer in a game of chance had caught his attention as DeArca saw Tamlin and Caroline approach a grounded blanket and he wanted to see as well. Walking over, he overheard the booth man telling that the game was free and DeArca smiled. "I want to play too? This sounds pretty fun" He said.

"Come on, Kale." The fox perks to his mother's voice and notices her striding off of the ferry, waving him to follow her. He bows quickly to the three merchants and tells them, "I have to go, that's my ma," before scampering away.
When she reaches the liscence tables, Marissa consideres them carefully. "Which ones do you think we need, Kale?" she muses. Kale doesn't really understand their purposes but looks closely at them anyway, eventually pointing out two that seem inviting. Marissa smirks. "Good choice. So be it, then," she says, and reaches into her purse.Quote: Specialty Items License- 45 couplets Gambling License- 50 couplets 95 out of 315 = 220

Hinoicarri Tamlin's ears pricked up at the word free and prize. she looked over at Zak
"well free with a chance of earning something good sound like a good way to start the visit at this here isle. I'm gonna go try my luck at this game hun, you are welcome to join me or try your luck else where."
With that she bounded off towards the booth promising games and riddles.
"free you say! ill try my luck, and just what is this large win you speak of?" Zak is not much for games of wit but he figured for skill there might be a very large hammer and a board with a bell on top of it, like the one that came to his home town a while back with the traveling circus. it had bears you could win in various sizes depending on how high you hit this little peg. that game was fun. his youngest brothers still used that bear as a bed back home. that and this gypsy girl was going over there. Might as well follow. he thought. and padded silently up behind her to watch how the game went.

Oqaia The dockmaster was a flirty folk, and smiled widely at Altaira. ...Junior Dockmaster. He stamped the temporary sale license and handed it over... directly to the 'source'. The dark haired gypsy blinked and looked up as the license was offered to her, her quill pen leaving a plot as she paused. She plopped it back into the traveller's inkwell and took the papers. She also kept a hand on the bobcat, who looked less than pleased this flirt had approached his mother and stopped the stroking. "Thankyou. My brother is the one with our money." Altaira offered a small smile, oblivious to the flirting.

Menelie [lulz blanketman] Caroline nods her thanks to the harbormaster and directs poor, seasick Cornelius up the docks toward terra firma. She looks at the little blue circles in her hand. She tucks them into a hidden pocket in her skirt. She hears the voices of the two men and her attention is...piqued. She decides on the game of chance. She likes chance. "I'll have a go," she announces to Blanket Man. "How am I t'be playin'?"Ro watches her mother for a bit, staying with Cornelius. She'd investigate the riddling man in the booth once Mother had won or lost. Come back. Whatever. She keeps an eye on the redheaded gypsy currently speaking with Booth Man.((I lovvveee your avy, btw. ^_^) Blanket Man grinned a wide grin, then blinked his eyes back into the back of his head, where his visions lived. "Why little love, here's a riddle for you. Where is Hedriken?"

That's 170 out of 300. "Here you are," the man said, stamping and sealing, and then handed over the evidences of her purchases. "And here are your two free chits for the gambling casinos." They were small, wooden, and smoothed into knots dyed with a blue dye. The booth man and the blanket man beckoned, as if to ask the fair lady to step up and try her luck.

After a short discussion with Leax, Lorelei decided to puchase only the temporary sale and specialty items licenses. Anything else was overkill, even with Lorelei's couplet count. That was still 95 couplets! If they would need a hotel and hostel license, they could buy that later.
Shifting Vanna to her hip, Lorelei made her way into the port, listening to the sounds and holding on tight to Leax's hands. It smelled familiar; not quite like Tempranillo, but close enough.
"Where should we go first?" she asked, softly.
Taniel purchased the same two licenses as Lorelei and Leax, under the same wisdom. He also purchased the personal and property safety insurance, just to be safe - he still had his supplies, after all, in his wagon. That came to 175 couplets, but he reasoned that he could accept the cost.
That done and wagon moored, he looked about the docks, wondering where he should stop first. He had a mind to go in search of supplies, but maybe that could come later, if he could just find somebody to wander with.

"ah well then that makes it much easier, might as well have one of us win somewhat off this, I'll go with odds my kind sir" she placed her fingers over the odds mark and winked at Zak, "mayhap we can work together after this to improve our standings while on the island"
