((A'ight. Picking back up where Kiyamasho and I left off...))
"I've set myself up a bit of a stronghold," he told her, helping her down the tunnel, the Bermudian again unconcious from a sharp blow to the head with his foot.
It took only a few minutes for him to guide her back to his apartment base of operations. He wouldn't show her much, just the front room. Granted, there was only the bedroom and another mystery room left after that, but that was where all his important stuff was. What could be considered important.

((eh? nope. i don't hate you^^))
Kiandra nodded and instantly regretted doing so. The loss of blood caused her to feel lightheaded and the sudden head movement made the feeling worse. Groaning she whispered in Bermudian, " Ugh...I never thought i would die this way..." Wearily she said in english, "You've done well i suppose...I-" Kiandra's sentence was cut short by a loud roaring in her ears. The last thing she remembered before going unconscious was the surprised look on the man's face as she fell backwards.

Bane walked slowly down a street, watching people shying away from his filthy form, a single head phone cable trailing up from a pocket to his right ear. His grin was cold, showing all who were nearby, that if they thought him in the wrong, they would be making a mistake in trying to stop him from doing what he wished to do.
Suddenly he stopped, and glancing around, conjured a tiny being out of sparks in his palm. Glancing down at it he said,"Find the power... I want it dead."
With a squeak the small flaming imp ran off into the side streets, as Bane continued his slow walk, searching for someone useful to his aims.
((Ok so my intro post ain't great, but I couldn't really figure out where everyone was so I just kinda... did what I could >.<))

((Is Bane in Bermudia or with the humans?))
Mira sighed, her breath misted in the damp underground air. She had walked all the way to the paved tunnels... a sure sign she was getting closer to the center of Bermudia. Of course, she was still a long way off, if she really wanted to get to the center it would be at least another day of walking, and that would only be without any stops. She paused at the division between dirt and pavement, turning to look back the way she had came and sighing again. She should really be heading home. It was approaching 'nighttime', at which time the artificially sun-lit tunnels would be dimmed, and she didn't want to be anywhere near here when that happened.
She looked up and froze. Two figures were walking towards her. It wouldn't bother her in the least, if they weren't wearing the blue uniform of a Flighter and gazing at her with determined expressions. Her heart leapt into her throat. What did they want?
The human. Of course, she had been a witness, and they wanted information from her. She took a few steps back, knowing that this information was not usually gathered through ethical means. Mira turned and began to run, but found herself shoved against the tunnel wall by a pair of rough hands pinning her arms behind her back. A cry escaped her lips as her shoulders protested from the treatment.
"Bermudia has requested your assistance." he growled as she struggled in his steel grip. "You will come quietly or risk serious injury."

((Bermudia... Sorry for not saying so...))
Bane continued his walk, periodically stopping, to double check that his small flaming being was doing as he wished. Suddenly he felt it, a tingling in his hands, and with a savage grin, he said under his breath,"Destroy it."
Seconds later an explosion rocked the ground, and all power in the section of the city he was in, instantly shut off. Flicking his head from side to side, he spotted his target, an electronics store.
Glancing around at the panicing populace he ducked into the store, snatching anything and everything small enough to shove into his jacket, and then ran back out of the store, running down the street towards the edge of the city.

"You alright?" Paul asked, still crouched over Kiandra as she came around. "You're hurt pretty badly... and the power went out, what little there was." He had thoroughly washed the wound, bandaged the wound, using all the limited medical skill he had as a pilot. "You've been out for almost half an hour now."

Mira's fight with the man paused as the tunnel suddenly went dark. The man seemed stunned too, but his grip did not relax in the slightest. "...What did you do, 'tric-kie?" he asked sternly, using a shortened form of 'electrokinetic'.
She meant to say 'nothing', but his hand suddenly clutching around her neck didn't give her time to. Instead she opted for a frightened gurgle. "Turn the power back on. Now." He growled angrily.
Up until this point, Mira had chosen not to fight back with her powers. No matter how bad the situation was, using them would have not made things better. But this... this was just unfair. So, she quickly sent a stunning shock through her body up the man's arms. He didn't make a noise, but his grip on her neck intensified until almost the breaking point before he finally regained control over his muscles. He forced his arms away from her, jumping back in surprise and pain.
Mira wasted no time removing herself from the man's reach. She began to run blindly down the darkened path... only to smash into the tunnel wall, hard. It was impossible to tell where the walls were in the new blackness of the underground. Her breathing was loud and pained, she knew the man could probably hear her. She could hear him as well, the rustling of his clothing letting her know that he was in pursuit.
But where to go?

Bane had made it to the edge of the city, using a tiny spark to light his way as he ran, panting from the exertion of running so far so fast. Up ahead was the tunnels, and from there he could make it to the surface, and move onwards, after getting some food.
Suddenly he stopped, able to hear voices echoing down the tunnel towards him. Cursing under his breath, he slowly walked forwards, only to bump into a fighter. His own eyes went wide as the Fighter took a swing at him, knocking him against the wall.
"OUCH!", He shouted, dragging himself to his feet, just in time to get grabbed around the neck and slammed into the wall.
"I don't know who you are, but you are interfering.", The man said menacingly, not relaxing his grip in the slightest.
Panting, Banes vision began to cloud, as he tried to fight free from the mans grip, electronics spilling from his pockets, his single spark now five feet away from him on the ground.

Mira looked to the ground as a small flicker of light approached her. She stared at it quizzically. What was that? She backed away as it came nearer to her. She didn't want anyone knowing where she was, and that little bit of light was going to expose her...
She heard more sounds around her, but they were coming from two different places now... which meant that someone else was in the tunnel with her, someone other than the Flighter... but was it just another one, come to aid their comrade?
"Ouch!" she heard a new voice exclaim.
"I don't know who you are, but you are interfering." she heard the man growl. She was somewhat relieved... whoever they were, they didn't want anything to do with her, not yet. All the while she tried to remain outside of the spark's path. It wasn't give up the pursuit, either. She wondered if the spark had come from the new arrival to the scene. One thing was for certain... that other person was in trouble now.
She thought quickly, finally approaching the spark and picking it up. Strangely enough, it didn't burn her hand; but simply hovered above it, keeping a warm, invisible barrier between it and her flesh. She held it above her head, allowing its light to illuminate the tunnel. Hurrying towards the noise, she finally arrived at its source: the Flighter, gripping a kid about her age. She blinked a few times, a little surprised, but she was still determined to follow through with her plan.
Holding out her other hand, she quickly sent another jolt of electricity towards the two of them, catching the Flighter square in the back. She didn't hold back this time, wanting to make sure this man wouldn't harm anyone without just reason again. She hoped that the current wouldn't travel to the other boy too much. Her intention was certainly not to hurt him.

Eyelids fluttering Kiandra slowly came too and for one confused moment didnt recognize the figure hovering over her. The darkness that enveloped them made it hard for her to understand what was happening. Frightened she pushed herself up and demanded in bermudian, "Who are you!?" Then a familiar voice asked a question in english. Relaxing Kiandra remembered where she was. Reaching up she fingered the area where her wound was. The area had been tightly bandaged.
"...And the power went out, what little there was."
Catching that last bit Kiandra frowned and replied in english, "There's no way that that is possible! Bermudian power wasn't made to just go out that way. Chaos would ensue. Unless... unless the Vulcon figured you are in the city and are trying to flush you out. I dont see any other reason for the power to just go." Her eyes now accustomed to the darkness, Kiandra studied the human man. Apparently he was trained not to show much emotion because he made no faces at her statement. Sighing she said flatly, "I forgot to thank you for fixing my arm. I guess I'm even more in your debt. I'm Kiandra by the way."

Bane felt the electricity pulse along his neck, and into the rings on his shoulders, the man before him shuddering from the shock. Grunting he pushed the mans hands off of him, and drew his knife.
"Goodbye, Fighter.", He said, ramming the knife into the mans temple, and ripping it back out, killing the man instantly.
Looking behind the collapsing dead man, he spotted Mira, and said,"I guess you are the one who shocked him? Thanks. I guess you saved my proverbial tail."

Mira realized what this kid was about to do a second before he did it. She quickly closed her eyes tight, gasping and stepping back in horror. She heard the sickening sound of his knife piercing flesh and her stomach reeled in disgust. He just... He just killed a Flighter... He just killed someone! A Flighter!
"You... killed him!" she said, her voice at a horrified pitch. She hadn't wanted him to die, she simply didn't want him to hurt her! It wasn't worth... that.... She didn't dare look at the man now. If she saw his blood, she would probably faint. The man was dead... Would he want to kill her, now? Just how psycho was this kid?
She didn't want to stick around to find out. "Stay away!" she shouted, shutting her eyes tight. Today was just not her day. Attacked by a human and a Flighter, then witnessing that same Flighter die...
She didn't open her eyes until her back was to the scene. Somewhere between that and running away, she dropped the spark. She ran blindly, holding her hands out to keep her from running into any more walls. Anything to get away...

Bane watched as Mira ran away, calling back his spark. Scowling, he quietly said,"Of course I killed him. It's kill or be killed."
Sighing he slowly began picking up his scattered objects, after cleaning his knife on the dead mans shirt. Glancing around with the assistance of the spark, he carefully began walking in the direction the girl had headed off in, his cold grey eyes catching every possible detail.

Mira stumbled blindly, having lost sight of the spark and its owner awhile ago. Come on, lights... Please, come back on... she felt like breaking down right then and there, but she knew she had to be stronger than that. She wondered if using her power would turn the lights back on. Now that her life wasn't in any immediate danger, it was a good idea to think about.
She sighed. If I use too much, I could cause more damage. And then I'd really have a reason for Flighters to come after me... She sighed and found a tunnel wall, putting her back to it and slumping to the ground, curling up in a ball. I'll just stay like this until the lights come back on. Nothing more can happen to me, right?
But her over-analytical mind kept bringing new problems to light. What if this is part of the problem with Bermudia? Is this just the beginning? Is everything going to fall apart now?
She blinked in surprise as a dim set of greenish lights came on. The emergency lights, she guessed. She had never actually seen them before... they had never really had a use out on the edges of Bermudia, where nothing exciting really happened. At least there is light now... She pushed herself to her feet, suddenly exhausted. Fighting for your life tended to wear you out, she guessed. I just want to go home...

"Don't look to me for the answer to all your questions. I'm not a native. Anyhow, we don't have power so we're running on candlelight," he added, gesturing at the candles burning behind him. "Don't bother thanking me, either. I never meant to hurt you. I just wasn't sure where I was or who was dangerous, so I had to presume that everything was against me." He scratched the back of his head, looking away from Kiandra for a moment, before looking back up. "The name's Paul."
