((?!?!?!?!? Sorry for taking so long to respond, my computer shut dowm for some unknown, but undoubtably stupid reason.))
Hailey chuckled, then got up and walked to her computer. She remembered her last boyfriend, Ryan, who had only dated her because he was a 'cat person' as he claimed, and the laugh died in her throat. She didn't like thinking about boyfriends and girlfriends.
"He probably doesn't feel the same way. Have you tried out the internet on these computers yet?" she choked out, in what she thought was a normal sounding voice.

"No not really." Karu said. He walked to his bed and held out his hand. He created an ice ball with out so much as a thought. He sat down and tossed the ball from one hand to the other. He sneeked a glance at what she was doing and smiled. "Parents abused you didn't they?"

Hailey sneered. "That depends on whether or not you know who Albert and Diana Wyley are. Because if you do then you won't believe me. Crap," she finished, having found not only was the internet slow, but she couldn't disown her parents.
The internet could be fixed.
Her parents couldn't.

Karu sighed. "Trying to disown i see." He sat back and pulled his mothers pendant from under his shirt. It was jade. "I never got a chance to say goodbye." He started to tear up.

Since all of America knew she was here now, she decided to go back upstairs to her dorm room. She pulled out her laptop, and realized, of course, there was an email from her father, she opened it. He was not happy at all. Star replied back saying she was just grabbing a bite to eat..and it was all the worker.....not her...

Kioko finally got bored and walked out of the room. "I'm so exhausted..." she mumbled to herself as she walked down the hallway back to her room.
"This isn't like me..." She said to herself weakly as she walked into her room.

Kitsune 0.0 Anna smiled a bit and looked at the monkey. "Yes. I thought he would understand I wanted silence but I doubt it." She sighed. "I would love to throw him into a portal, but I wouldn't know what would happen to him." Anna's eyes brightened. "Oh! Sorry. Um, I can open portals into other worlds....that's what I ment. Sorry." Anna sometimes forgot that other people didn't know about portals.
Anna looked at the shadow around his feet. It was really intresting to see. She had known that other people had powers but she hadn't expected this really.
"Oh, hello, I'm Annamika, but please call me Anna." She stood up to shake his hand. (Don't worry, I won't do the girl tripping thing. So old!) She grinned a bit more and took his hand. "Nice to meet you...er...Shade." She laughed a bit. it was funny although she didn't want to tell him that.
Anna then looked at the T.V. It was on low volume and she saw something intersting. She looked at him. "Um...do you mind?" She said. She pointed toward the remote, saying she wanted to turn up the volume.((Gah, Stupid bad post.))
He smiled when she took his hand, and nodded in response. She was friendly enough at least, even if she had wanted some quiet to read. But it didn't really seem to matter much, with the monkey Jeremy doubted she'd be getting much quiet for now.
"Yeah, nice to meet you too. And uh...heh, yeah I guess the whole name thing is kinda funny huh? Especially with what I do and all. The whole shadow deal is kind of why they called me that. It kind of fits and I've gotten used to it anyway."
Shade moved back to his spot and sat, looking to the tv when Anna indicated the tv. "Not at all" he would reply, his attention being drawn to the tv for a moment.
