Dominic slid into a halt when he felt the young woman leave his arms. He turned quickly and caught sight of her, giving a slight smile at he combat skills, impressive for a reporter. He walked over and looked down at her, crouching down next to her leg he examined it and pulled free the long piece of black cloth he wore about his neck. He took the blade and snapped it from the edge of the chain, chipping off the tip, then rubbing the blade against the ground to make it rough and hard to cut with. He wrapped the leg with part of the scarf then placed the metal splint against her leg and wrapped up the rest of her leg.
"You should be able to walk abit, but I think it best if I just carry you." He announced standing straight.
There was a loud bang, then a thud that seemed to travel after the impact. Dominic spun in place grunting in pain, he'd been shot by the other thug, who loomed at the edge of the street holding a small rifle. Still grasping his shoulder Dominic made a mad dash toward the man. The man fired once as Dominic lept high and swung from a hanging fire escape later.
Landing in a roll, another shot banged against the wall near to the dashing youth. The man fumbled to load the rifle and take aim, Dominic slid to the left and caught his good hand on the lamp-post parallel to the large man. Swinging about, horizontal to the ground he let go as he kicked. His heavy boots smashed into the thug, one in the gut the other square in the noise. As the thug landed Dominic in a standing position atop him, his feet beat back and forth in a quick two step, the sick crunch of bone sounding out. The young man dismounted by twisting his boot on his opponent's noise, then quickly made his way back to Fumi.

Fumi smiled softy has he gently mended her leg; his touch was full of care. Her smile quickly dissapeared when she heard the shot and the following thud of the bullet connecting then sinking into his shoulder. She let out a quick high pitched yelp. She was still on the ground as Dominic assualted the other guard. She rolled to her side and covered her head; she couldn't watch. She listened intently to the fight, uttering a shrill scream every time she heard a shot- for she fear that every shot was the one that would end both Dominic's and her own lives. Her body shook violently from a combination of fear and blood loss. Suddenly there was a calm and Fumi slowly losened her tence muscles. Quick foot steps echoed towards her and she flipped over ready to kick her way out of what ever evil came at her. "Dominic! You're alive! Please, please tell me you're alright?" She shouted with releaf and a smile. Fumi struggled to sit up and said, "I don't care where you take me, just get me out of here and some where safe." Tears ran down her eyes, she was exhausted, frightened, excited and relieved.
