"Eh, for sleeping in on class. And for coming to school late," he replied, scratching the back of his head a bit. "...Well, that's what the teachers say. They just hate me," he added grinning a bit as he picked up the fallen rock. He quickly placed it on his head. "I'm gonna name you Rocky!" he declared quietly to his new pet rock.

"You're not the only one, I think all the teachers are trying to figure a way to get me expelled. Not that they're succeeding mind you," Tabitha said, grinning at him. "Anyway, what's your name? I don't think I caught it."
She watched amusedly as he picked up the rock and placed it on his head.
He reminds me of my little sister, 'cept she used leaves and plants instead of rocks...

"Zachary. Everyone just calls me Zach though," he replied grinning as he tried to balance the rock on his head. He failed as it promptly fell off his head. He automatically pouted before picking up the rock again.

"Well, you can just call me Tabby. Tabitha's a mouthful." Tabitha glanced at the darkening sky, glancing at her watch. "As nice as it was meeting you boys, I have to get going. My mother's coming home soon and I have to get started on making dinner. I'll see you guys at school tomorrow!" With that she turned around, waving goodbye and jogging back towards her house.
(I'm sorry, but my cousin just invited me to go swimming and I can't refuse! I'll probably be on later tonight though. Again, sorry!^^)

"Bye Tabby!" Zach yelled, waving. He slowly put his arm down to his side as soon as she had left his vision. Rock in hand, Zach quietly sat down under a nearby oak tree. He sighed. 'Might as well find some shade... It looks like it's gonna rain,' he thought to himself frowning slightly. He blinked. "Hey, Yukio, aren't you going home now?" he questioned, tilting his head to the side a bit.

Zach stared at Yukio a bit peeved he didn't answer. "Hey, Yukio!" he exclaimed from his position underneath the tree's leaves. "Aren't you going to head on home now?" he questioned again, petting "Rocky" on it's head.

"Yukio!" Zach exclaimed for about the third time this day. "Hey, Yukio! Aren't you going home now?" he questioned tiredly. Why wouldn't Yukio just answer him? He frowned as there was no sign of any response. "Oi! Yukio answer me or else... Or else... Or else I'll hug you!" he threatened standing up from his position underneath the tree.

Tabitha walked back towards her house, musing over the two boys. Well, I can always talk to them some more at school. They seem nice enough. With that, she turned on the street where her house was located, humming a half-remembered tune.

Yukio walked into the school. The second day was starting. He walked through the halls hoping to find at least one of the people he'd met the day before. He headed to the cafeteria to get a soda.

Zach yelped and stumbled out of bed as soon as his alarm clock rang. He groaned before taking a quick glance at the clock. He stared, horrified. "Oh sh*t. I'm gonna be late again!" he yelled before quickly changing into a fresh pair of clothes. As soon as he was done, Zach dashed out of his house, forgetting to bring his navy blue school bag with him.

Tabitha sat in the cafeteria, her homeroom wasn't open yet and she'd rather sit in the cafeteris than sit on the floor, nodding her head to the beat of her ipod. She had saved up her money for almost a year before getting it. When her mother had gotten home last night, Tabitha had received a scolding, but it had been half hearted at best. By the time she got to the school this morning, the teachers had resigned themselves to her absence the day before and just gave her her information and a detention. Grinning, she raised her head to look at the entrance to the cafeteria, getting up and waving her hand at the one of the guys she had met yesterday. "Hey! You! The guy with the dark hair! Over here!"

"Crap, crap, crap, crap! I'm gonna be late!" Zach chanted to himself as he dashed across the street. Luckily he hadn't ran during a green light like last time. 'It was just one time!' he thought to himself, frowning at the memory. 'How was I supposed to know that it was a green light? It looked red to me!' he exclaimed in his head as he quickly jumped over a nearby fire hydrant. He hoped that this was the right way to school...

Yukio saw Tabby sitting at a table. He waved to her, got a soda, and then made his way over there. He sat across the table from her. "Good morning. How are you today?" he asked, then made a face. Wow, that sounded formal. He smiled sheepishly at her, a light blush touching his cheeks. "Sorry. It sounded like better greeting in my head."
