Kei skipped about in the moonlight, outside the castle. Lord knew why she was doing it... someone had to. Certainly she didn't. Long white tresses floated behind her as she skipped in circles around a particularly lovely rose bush. "Ring around the roses..." If nothing else, the Brin was entertaining herself with her actions. Ignore the fact she was in the Liebies territory. What did she care though? She was having fun, singing her little song and communicating with a nearby mailbox. "Ashes, ashes We all fall down! Mr. Mailbox, how many licks does it take to the center of the earth? Oh don't be silly, owls don't talk!" Kei finally sat before the mailbox, obviously in a heated debate as to wether or not people should know what are in hot dogs. "Well sure, you should know what you eat, but wether or not you want to is the question." Kei sat silent, staring at the mailbox with a look of advid attention. "... Touche." She sighed, and stood in a fluid movement. She looked sideways at the box, then finally kicked it. "Smarty-pants." Kei sat once more and finally laid back, staring up at the moon. She squinted slightly. "I wouldn't say that looks like a man... it looks like a huge hole in a hunk of furry swiss cheese." She sighed. "I'm hungry... perhaps a little bloodbag will stumble along. I do want to try that bendy-straw experiment, but father just had to be adamant about not playing with food."

The truth is you could slit my throat and with my one last dying breath...As Alysha exited the castle, she saw a girl in the moonlight, dancing around in a circle. She tilted her head, curious about the girl. She seemed to be debating with...a mailbox, it seemed. She walked over curiously. "Hello?" she said, not wanting to intrude on the conversation, which seemed to have ended merely moments before.
This girl was not Leibes, which made Alysha wonder what she was doing there in the first place, though she could care less she was there. ...I'd apologize for bleeding on your shirt.

Lillian half listened to what he said, deciding his theatrics were just a bit too much for her. She pushed herself away from the wall slightly her hand snaking out from under her cloak for just a moment before disappearing again. "I guess we do agree on one thing, after all," she comments moving to walk around him.
Soon enough she would have to call together a group of men to begin the clean up now that the sun had finally bathed the land in her light. Even with the mere chance of darkness she didn't want to leave anymore of their men open for possible attack. They had already suffered a pretty good loss in that single battle. She sighs, more a rush of air, then giving off any sound.
She suddenly stops and turns to look at the vampire. Even if she didn't want to ask the question, she knew he would know the answer. It seem to her that he in fact knew a lot more than he was willing to tell. "Will they come by day as well?" She finally asks her green eyes lifting to meet his silver-blue.

Kei blinked, then looked to the side at the newcomer. "Oh, it's a liar." The genuine look of surprise on her face was almost amusing. It was as if she didn't expect to come across a Liebies right in front of their castle. She sat up slowly, then stood. Kei walked in an easy, unthreatening manner around Alysha. She seemed to be sizing her up or something. Finally, she nodded. "Yes, yes..." What she was agreeing to was unclear. Except, she was looking up Alysha's body very carefully. She finally spoke after stopping behind Alysha. "How old are you? You must be somewhat older than me because-" With these words, her hands surged forward and grabbed Alysha's breasts. "Look how huge these are! There's no way someone younger could be sporting ones bigger than mine." She lifted them slightly, as if trying to decide the weight. "It would really piss me off if you are younger!" She finally let go and peeked around at Alysha's face. "Does a name go with the gallons?"
((Just for the record: this is not meant to be perverted. It's Kei being Kei... completely insane XD))

I find hope and it gives me rest...Alysha looked over at the other girl, unfazed at the grabbing of her breasts. "No name that I have ever known," she said. She didn't take notice of her other comments. She seemed as touched as she herself was. "I do not know your age to compare it to my own. My name is Alysha, if you care to know," she said, spinning in a slow circle. She wanted to move, it didn't matter how she did, and spinning was fun. It gave one a different perspective of the world. She watched the clouds move as she spun, and watched the castle come into view and out of view as she twirled absently, waiting to see if the other girl would answer. ...I find hope in a beating chest.

Kei put her hands on her hips, and tilted her head to the side. She watched Alysha twirl, then began to twirl as well. The world began to spin, but she couldn't see the big deal. She stopped, and watched the Liebie before her looking up at the sky. She looked up too, but she didn't see anything there except a couple of clouds. "Sure they look like marshmellows, but they can't be that interesting..." Kei watched Alysha some more, then lost interest. She stopped, suddenly fixing a glare on a nearby streetlamp. "Oh, really?" She stepped forward, closer to the streetlamp. "Uh huh? Sure... interesting..." She nodded, then finally kicked at it. "Well ******** YOU, Mr. Light! You don't know what I've seen! You don't know the truth!" She proceeded to beat the hell out of the streetlamp.

"Gunhei, you cannot think such a thing!"
Liefon's voice rose high and echoed through the corridors. But it was a mere growl, arms thrown up into the air as his eyes flashed crimson. Liefon was more than angry now; he was furious, frustrated, and going to the brink of a blind rage. The way Gunehi's smoothe voice spoke, the way he contemplated things, already making plans to go after the wolf-like creatures. It was unfuriating. How could he want to break his clan up like that? But even as Liefon stated his words with anger, Gunhei was not about to give it up. The boy was destined to revenge his mate, one of the rare pairs of mates that had been so deeply in love. Someimes they took mates just for the cause, having a small liking for each other; that's how Liefon, so far, had felt with his new mate Amelia. But he couldn't help focusing feelings on one being, he cared for them all. Gunhei was being utterly selfish. "You will not act alone, Gunhei."
But the Vampire had already made up his mind. He crossed his arms over his lean body, glaring, no, not even; giving Liefon such a look of contorted hate that the king was forced to listen to his smoothe, irriatating voice. "I will, Liefon. I will not stand back and let her be unavenged!" His hands balled into fists, and if a vampire could literally be considered white, Gunhei was. His dark red eyes stuck out like pink in black, even in the dark corridor. But Liefon wasn't intimidated, as much as Gunhei tried. Liefon could be just as cruel looking, but there was no reason to get even more angrier for nothing would be resolved.
Trying to hold it all in, Liefon stood there, looking over to the side wall as he thought. Gunhei waited more than patiently for his reply, but Liefon refused to answer just yet. The wall was adorned with a drapery of fine design, one of the old kings of another land fighting his way with his warriors as their foe fell to their swords, horses, and archers afar. He finally let out a long, quiet sigh, and strode over to the drapery, running a strong, still hand across the bottom of it. Hooves, feet, weapons, bodies, all adorned the ground of the battlefield, while their standing partners and their military uses climbed over them with strong, courageous hearts to battle. His head suddenly jerked over to Gunhei, sleek hair weaving about on end, "Do you see this, Gunhei?" the vampire was already staring at it, eyes at the corners with a glare. He nodded slightly. Liefon took a step back from the wal, admiring the view, "They may only be human, but we were once too. These humans, though; look at how they stand together? Together, they will overcome the cowering enemy in the picture." He turned to the young vampire again, "Do you see, Gunhei? Together, we are one. Unbreakable. Split apart, we are fragile. Vunerable." He waited expactantly for Gunhei's reply.
The young vampire sighed, and turned around as if to walk away from his king, back to him and all. His quiet voice broke the silence, but only faintly, "She will be avenged, one way or another, Liefon. I won't wait much longer. And neither should you. One who wasn't on the battlefield wouldn't know the pain." He obviously knew that one would hit Liefon pretty hard, and it did; Liefon clenched his fists, attempting to say something in a loud tone. But Gunhei turned so he could see his face, holding up a hand for silence, "What would you do if you lost Amelia? Would you be sitting here? I was there, Liefon, while that demon tore her apart. Even with only one of them on me, I couldn't save her. You should understand it, if you care so much." And with that final word to hang suspended in the guilty air of Liefon, Gunhei strode out silently of the small chamber.
Liefon stood there, guilty, and vunerable. He knew what he had done wrong. But what if Gunhei said is right? What would he be doing right now if Amelia had died, because of him? Right there, watching her die, unable to protect her. The king would want him dead, of course, for although his sweet daughter was a vampire, she was still his. Things would be a lot different. Did Gunhei have a point? He sighed with frustration, turning to look at the drapery of joined men in battle. Is being together simply enough?
Or did they really have to face the demons once and for all?

Akuchi's eyes shown only through small slits due to his smile. Bowing as Lillian passed by him, he wondered how much of the tough Captain's attention did he get. Though he was intelligent, possibly far too much for his own kind, he was hardly the persuader, hence is unknowing if he had the Captain's mind on the fact that the vampires were also at loss. As his hair hung down, he then raised himself slowly and had his left arm parallel to his hip, the other one folded horizontally over his chest. The lightly pale vampire was about to proceed on forward, only to be stopped by the question that was posed to her.
Turning his head then his body around, he looked at her seriously, the smile away from him. He knew the answer, and he was slightly aware of the fact that Lillian was aware of that too. He only hoped that she figured he was investigating about it for a long time, instead of what he really had in store. He was worried by someone knowing that, but he sighed then smiled, running his long-nailed hands through his hair and lightly chuckling.
"They will, Captain Lillian. 'Tis the reason why we prepare a plan and meeting with the Council. And when I speak of Council, I speak of the united one between Vampire and the Crucians, I assure you. If the Leibeis are going to be strong, we need to the Crucians to be prepared as well."
His eyes slowly went to the side, beginning to wrap himself in thoughts. He contemplated as to what he wanted again with his position here. He still needed to think of what he want, and waited for that sign of realization. But it has not come yet and he was frustrated, especially with knowing that war was upon them. And there was the matter of whether or not King Leifon would attack the creatures...
For they were indeed powerful. Very...Dangerous.

At his answer she suddenly felt the sort of urgency that a meeting needed to be held. If these monsters, whatever they were are unaffected by the light of the sun then that left the crucians in a very dark situation if something wasn't done.
Lillian said nothing more as she walked away from the vampire. He seem a little strange to her. Not like the rest of his kind. Was he planning something? Or were the vampires up to more tricks? Her boots sound heavy in the nearly silent hallway as she moves past the large makeshift clinic and heads down anything corridor in hopes of finding Michelle. Soon she'd have to do without orders and do what was most likely the right thing.
Suddenly she stops and turns on heel, heading back toward the castle entrance. Why was she waiting for commands at all. Her underlings could easily clean up the mess of bodies. For now they will just have to be pilled outside the city walls in hopes to keep them out of sight until a more permanent arrangement can be made.
As she steps out of the castle the light of the sun baths down on her. She turns and heads toward the barracks that are further to the north in the city. Her cloak shifts slightly in the light breeze as she walks, the hood remaining in place. When she pushes the door open to the barracks she is bombarded with activity. It seems the rest of the higher-ups had the same idea she did.
"Underlings!" She calls out her voice turning hard as steel. After only a moment a group of ten men assemble before her. "Come on, we have work to do." She orders before turning and heading back outside, her company following after her.
"Captain," one of the young men behind her finally speaks up. "Just what is going on? We were guarding the North gate so all we've heard are rumors."
"There was an attack on the south side of the city last night. Be prepared, many of your comrades died," she answers her voice cold to keep control. Of course it wasn't too necessary. These ten men pledged their very lives to her. "For now the bodies will be piled on the other side of the city wall, until our King decides to tell us what to do with them."
As they approached the shambles of a south gate Lillian decides to start there and work her way inward. She could already see some commoners hanging around, and could easily guess they were there looting the dead. "Get lost!" She shouts sending the group scurrying away before turning her underlings and giving orders. Lillian and her underlings quickly spread out and began the rather gruesome task.

We are the ones, we get knocked down...Alysha kept spinning, not even noticing as the other girl proceeded to fight with a...streetlamp? Very questionable, she thought to herself, walking past her, toward the forest. There was something funny in there, she knew it, but what...she did not know.
Through the seemingly empty city she walked, hoping that the majority of citizens were at the castle. The ghost town was giving her the creeps, and she wanted out of such a place. The forest would comfort her, just like it always had. Nice frilly leaves of green to make her bed, nothing to hold her back, as long as she returned before sunrise she would be alright.
She made it to the edge, wondering what lay beyond. What new threat became to the vampires? She shrugged, thinking that it wasn't much of her business...she wasn't a fighter, far from, and she knew it. She heard the voices of all those who didn't make it, saying nothing as they rested uncomfortably in the ground. She closed her eyes to block them out. This was not the time for becoming overwhelmed. She walked into the forest, immediately comforted from the eerie feel of the ghost town past her now. "Hello," she said to the trees, lifting small wet leaves with small bugs on them, she greeted it all. Her bare feet made little noise as she continued into the forest, deeper and deeper. ...we get back up and stand above the crowd

Feeling the ground below her paws and claws, she continued strolling through the forest. As the sun's rays filtered through the treetops and gently placed what went through on her white fur coat, her mind wandered. It wasn't on exactly anything specifically, but on everything. She thought about the Elders, about Vischer and Celena, then thought about the life of a Crucian, then back to how rabbits cope with eating carrots, and other random things. It was a way for her to relax, to unwind. Finally, when her thoughts settled down, she stopped her walking.
Her ear twitched and she slowly turned her head to the noise. It was very small, probably unheard by normal critters that revolved in the forest, but she was able to hear it. Her eyes narrowed. Though the area was around the Crucian city, it was still close to the territory of the Wolfen. Why would someone be out here? Especially after the onslaught...would that mean that they discovered the place of the Wolfen pack? It was not good news, for she didn't want anyone to discover them, no matter what position she was in. It made her blood boil, but she was able to calm herself down.
I'll do this my way... Though her instincts were telling her to get rid of whoever entered or could prove deadly to the territory, Rynira decided on a more peaceful approach.
She moved silently into one of the shadows and closed her eyes. In the shade, she pushed herself into the air with her front paws and if someone gazed upon the spectacle, it would've looked like she was falling back. However in just short of a blink of an eye, her fur began to turn into wisps that soon traveled up the body and towards her head. The body began to reform into a slender yet fit image of a young woman with a good height of 5'8". As the wisps of her head soon turned into strands of top-of-the-calves long hair, the whiteness dyed into a midnight black color, leaving only a lock of whiteness at the side of her face. This all transpired in just a few seconds that was not noticed, turning a white wolfen into a bare Crucian.
Knowing that she had no clothes, she decided to climb up the tree and remain there, waiting for the woman that unknown to her is Alysha. Her mind was speculating as to who she was, making sure that she did not have thoughts travel back to the Elders or any members of the pack...

One more long goodbye and...Alysha took her time walking through the forest, stopping to feel the unfamiliar bark under he fingertips, kneeling to pick up a stray toad and feel its rough, yet smooth skin under her fingertips. She was endlessly curious about the forest and its inhabitants. She wished she could live there sometimes, coming out when she needed to, and using the leaf canopy as a shelter from the sun, for it was certainly thick enough. A drop of water fell on her head, causing her to look up. It was not raining, so it was probably a drop from some earlier time that had finally climbed its way down to fall once again on the ground and reunite with the ground. "I'm so sorry," she whispered, feeling the pain the water must have felt at now, never being able to become one with the ground again.
She looked up again, more careful now, not wanting another drop to land on her again. As she looked up, she thought she saw someone in a tree, but thought nothing of it. Probably just something looking for a place to rest. "That sounds like a good idea," she said to herself, looking for a patch of ferns hidden from the sunlight. Finding one that looked comfortable, she dropped onto it, smiling softly at them. "Thank you, for letting me rest here," she spoke softly, not wanting to hurt their feelings by sleeping and not even thanking them first. She lay her head down and closed her eyes, hoping to get a short nap in before she would have to return home. ...one shot to the brain

From what it looked like, this woman was not of a threat. However, being the Huntress that she was, Rynira did not settle for assumptions and decided to continue analyzing her. The way that she apologized to the earth, realizing that it was a living thing, was interesting. Another was what seemed to be empathy for inanimate objects and their feelings. It was strange. If she was to report this back to the Hunters, they would most likely say that such a creature's habit would be its weakness for such excessive kindness. Still, it was appealing to her as to how one could even walk into the forest. From her scent, she seemed to be that of a vampire, which clan, she did not know that by the smell. It was day too...which was oddly strange.
Deciding that it would be fine to approach now, she held onto the branch and flipped downwards, before twisting her body and landing on her feet and hands gently and almost silently, save for the small rustle of leaves. Her long hair soon fell across her naked body, clothing her somewhat. Knowing that this may be an obscene situation to present herself in according to the Crucians, she slowly brought her hand to the silver collar around her neck. If one had a heightened sense in hearing, they would be able to hear the soft chime and then soft rippling of silks. It was a quick thing that Souji had presented her with the collar, which would conjure the red dancing gown onto her. Satisfied that she was presentable enough, she moved to the opposite side of the tree, nearby the patch that the woman rested on. Slowly sitting down and clearing her throat, she announced herself in her gentle voice.
"One must not lay in the middle of nowhere for one could always get hurt when they didn't notice it. Are you alone?"
Her voice was soft, slightly above a whisper, but it was loud enough for the woman to hear it as she rested against the opposite side of the tree. In Rynira's mind, she knew that she would at least be lectured for even talking to a Vampire or Crucian, for that was assigned to one wolf she knew: Erral. Especially since they were meant to keep their distance and their position safe from the eyes of their now opponents. However, the wolfen in Crucian form just shook her head and smiled, her small fangs showing slightly.
She remembered when she smiled and the fangs shown, she was immediately taken as a Leibeis member of the clan. Thinking that as a good thing, Rynira had complied to such position. She wondered now what she would be thought about, or how she would be treated by this young woman...

The air around them had grown calm and quiet now, as the wolfen brothers stared off into another world. Erral was smiling lightly across his thin lips, his brother with a hard, serious expression. Erral could only imagine such things, about worlds; yes, for although he and Kale were blood brothers, their worlds were very different. The discussion had grown weary, like it always did; Erral would tell Kale of the events going on in Crucia, or the minor ones, at least. Kale would excalim a few things about the pack. But it was always the same, always ended the same; the two would sit in silence, Kale probably angered at the life Erral had chosen, dissaproval already in his eyes. Kale hated the Crucians more than anything these days, how they wanted to expand their land into Vischer's forests. Erral, on the other hand; he looked at everything differently. Erral didn't hate the humans. He disliked them. But the way they chose to live, the way politics went on, the lifestyle they chose with warfare in their histories and mechanics they created. It was all so interesting to let go, which was why Erral helped build such a place when he was younger, barely among the trust he was now. He did not help to build the place for it to come to this. He thought the city would've been small, the people stupid; but they expanded quickly through the years. It worried him, more than anything, with their minds and what they could do. A part of Kale must resent Erral for what he did. But he would never take it back.
Kale sighed. Erral looked at him slowly, a more calm, but almost tense look on his features. He seemed to know what was coming from his brother, some discouragement, warning, or anythign else having to do with Erral to become 'one with the pack' again. But then again, Erral knew it would've been pointless to say it. He was never going to give up his lifestyle because of his brother's word. Stubborness? Maybe. Was he selfish? Erral had to conteplate that one. He watched Kale as he nervously tried to find the right words to say. His eyes were full of sorrow; Erral somehow felt guilty just then. Kale and Erral had been so close once. There could nothing stronger than a bond among brethren of blood.
He cleared his throat, and looked at Erral with hard eyes, "I won't tell you what I have to say anymore, Erral. But..." he paused, looking up at the sky. It was clear and pure form the bloodshed that had happened below, the air crisp and cool. Erral looked up as well, as if they were baying to the moon in human form, "One day it's going to ruin you. You'll have nowhere to go, brother. The pups already cower from you. You smell of humans, and rarely the pack." He brought his head down slowly, a persuading look on his face full of hope. But Erral only shook his head as he brought down his as well.
Eyes lowered, mouth grimaced, Erral stared at the ground in front of him, "Whatever Vischer decides to do in the future, Kale. If one day he looks at me the way you do, it could happen in a second. But until them, I will continue to do what I am, and I won't give it up." He glared at Kale through the breaks in his rough hair, then smiled slyly, a warm laugh erupting from him.
"What's so funny?" Kale stared at him oddly, as if he had gone insane. Well, he probably thought that already, actually.
Erral shook his head, grinning at Kale smally, "Do I really smell like a human, Kale?"
Kale rolled his eyes with a theatrical sigh, "In that form, you do. Change or something. It's bugging me."
Erral laughed even more, and quickly grew form human to the large, hairy wolfen. A deep rumbling and cough broke out of his chest, exclaiming he was still laughing and making fun of his brother. or himself. It was difficult to tell. "This better for you?" his animal eyes glowered at Kale, but his jawline forced into a wolfish grin. Kale grinned and reached forward, his strong hand inbetween Erral's ears and he scratched his brother's head.
"Sometimes, you're like a little brother, Erral. Maybe if you were, you wouldn't be so wild." And Erral was laughing again, as Kale did now too, brothers from two different worlds, but born into the same as more than brethren.

I've been burning in water and drowning in flame...She turned her head, hearing a voice speaking near her, but not understanding the words completely. "Hmm?" a faint voice escaped her throat, not really a word, but merely a noise. She opened her eyes slowly, seeing that not much time had "Everyone is alone," she spoke the words softly, not knowing why since she hadn't heard what the other had said fully.
She now looked at the woman who had spoken, saw small fangs, not like her own. "Wonder what she is?" she said, barely above a whisper, more to herself, as if she wasn't aware that the other woman was actually real.
She sat up, pieces of fern still in her hair, which was slightly messy from laying down and general neglect for the last day or so. She then looked around the forest, observing the gentle beauty around her before her soft eyes made their way back over to the woman. "Hello," she said, before the words she had spoken came back to her. "Yes, at the moment I am alone here. I came this way for a walk. I quite love the forest."
She didn't bother to move from her ferny bed, her bare feet sunk in enough to keep warm. Her white dress had ridden up above her knees, but she payed it no mind. She was now fully interested in this strange new woman. She didn't smell like a vampire, nor did she smell like a Crucian. Was this one of the creatures she had heard about in the castle?
But how, since it looked like there was much damage, and this woman couldn't possibly cause so much carnage. A small smile planted itself on her face as a butterfly landed on her arm. ...to prove you wrong and scare you away
