((GARRR! It just ATE MY POST!!! scream ))

"Place your hands above her head. Then, transfer your energy into her soul. If this works correctly, it should turn into healing energy," she turned to him and gave him a reassuring look, "Don't worry, just trust your instinct."

As she kneeled down beside the Drow, she placed her hands just above her head. Moments later, a blue glow extended from her fingertips and a dark thread connected with Lasha. Through this thread, Yolanda's magickal energies were being transferred.

"Trust yourself," she said, closing her eyes.

"Alright..." He took a place across from her, doing the same as Yolanda did.

He put his hands beside the Drow's head, and the blue energy spread from his fingertips to her, a similar dark thread connecting them. His energies were currently being syphoned into the Drow's soul, which were, in turn, becoming healing energies.

"Trust my instinct..." He murmured, his eyes closed as he did this.

(Blargh... Gaia is slow...)

Her dreams began to flutter, breaking up to a lighter darkness. Lasha felt the dizzying sensation of semi-consiousness dawn upon her, as well as the magical energies being used on her body. At first she attempted to resist, to raise a shield of sorts to protect herself. But she then realised that it was an odd kind of magic, a calming, soothing water that seemed to be filling her soul.

An odd sensation at the back of her head snapped her to full consiousness. The drow gave a soft groan as it still throbbed, but it felt different now. It... itched, there was no other word to describe it. Dark eyelids opened slowly as black eyes got used to the light.

((errrg..it's not great..but it shall do xd ..i didn't want to do too much in case i might mess up the spell or somthing sweatdrop ))

In the dream-like world, Lasha's soul began to awaken. The thread disappeared in an instant. Now was the time to leave and quickly.

"Hold my hand," she directed, with some sense of urgency. They had about three minutes left to return to their corporeal bodies, unless they wanted to remain here for all eternity.

"We must return. There is nothing else we can do here," she closed her eyes, grasping Ravenar's hand in hers. Again, she felt the connection. Their minds had to be as one before they could leave. If they didn't leave...

Pushing the thought out of her mind, she returned to the calming state. Soon, they would leave the void and the rest of her work would have to be done in reality.

"Alright." He answered to her urgency, though he remained calm. He took her hand as she instructed, feeling the gradual return to their bodies.

Outside of the void, Ravenar opened up his eyes. He saw the female Drow, hoping that she had either not opened her eyes or she was fine. He hoped he had done nothing wrong.

He turned to Yolanda. "Well, we shall see if it worked, soon enough, I hope..." He said softly with a bit of a smile.

(Blargh xx; Not much... I know...)

"Something worked." The dragon's head was propped on the couch near Lasha's watching over her. "She feels different now, much more like normal sleep." The dragon shuddered, stretching his neck upward to get all the cricks out before turning his gaze upon the two again. "If I knew any magic yet, I'd have tried to help you, but untrained as I am in draconic magics I'd have probably been a major hindrance."

Even if he'd stayed with the proper dragons, he'd still be recieving only very basic training at this age. The only bits he knew were instinctive magics, like his understrength flame breath and his ability to roughly judge Lasha's state of health minus any healing classes whatsoever.

Imo rolled and twisted, suddenly taken by an overpowering itch. He rubbed his neck and back across the edge of the couch and floor before looking back up at the mages a few seconds later, trying to evaluate the effects of the magic on all parties involved.

"That is good to hear..." Ravenar said with a nod towards the dragon. He had never actually met or talked to a dragon before, and this was quite a new experience for him.

"Perhaps I could teach you something?" He chuckled. "But most likely, you could not learn our mortal magics... your elders probably have much more devastating and wonderful spells and such at their command..." Ravenar said wistfully.

Ravenar once again looked down at the sleeping Drow. It had been forever since he had seen another like him, and a female at that! Ravenar's mind went over the possibilities, but then remembered what most Drow females were like. Demanding, controlling, witchy and grouchy. Not something Ravenar had in mind for his life. He hoped she was different... and he wondered why she was here... Was she like him, an outcast? An exile?

Yolanda had always been a friend, of course, but she had been nothing more. Oh, certainly Ravenar had contemplating something more than that, but he figured it would merely turn into them living in the same home with little contact between the two, both of them studying their art, never talking, never interacting.

Ravenar, however, was not one to rush into things or to fall in love at first sight. He was much more intellectual than anything, and did not rush into most anything, especially relations. "Hopefully, she'll wake up soon and we can find out who she is and what she's doing here..." He said, wondering still.

Who was this Drow? Why was she here? Was she single? ... Ravenar forced that final question out of his mind. He was more mature than that.

I found this a bit of an awkward bit.. maybe somthing like.."Your elders would know more devastating and wonderful spells at their command." ))

Her black eyes now fully able to see the room about her, the drow sat up slowly then tried to stand. Thats when Lasha saw him, another drow. Fearful and surprised all at the same time she backed up too quickly and ended up tripping and falling backwards over the couch.

It was then that Lasha had wished she never moved. Pain exploded in her head, but not so much as before. It felt more like a bad bump on her head now.

"Buki shu, waele klez ulu xun.." She muttered, the words not sounding very clean either as the slender female tried to pull herself up off the floor again. This was all highly embarressing and frustrating.

Then it fully registered, 'A male drow...' Lasha swooned again and almost passed out, finding herself leaning on Imo for support. It had been too long since she had seen any of her kin..So very long.

Yolanda moved quickly to help her up back onto the couch.

"You should try not to move so much. Here, drink this," she said, pushing the bowl of painkiller into her hands. For the moment, it would do, although she wished that she could get some more potent herbs. Well, that would be on her list of things to accomplish.

"This is Ravenar," she continued, giving him a glance which clearly read, 'Introduce yourself!' Knowing little of the Drow, she wondered if her two friends knew each other prior to this.

((So...short... sweatdrop ))

((Can't find anything to complain about ^^))

Accepting the help and finally getting back to the couch, Lasha took the bowl in her hands and gave it a curious sniff. Wincing slightly she took a deep breath and gulped it down. Refusing to make a face, the proud female contented herself with a mere lip twitch before looking back to the other drow.

"How..but...who?" Confused and still a bit dazed she finally gained her composure, her face becoming a mask void of any emotion. She heard Yolanda mention his name and thought it suitable to introduce herself as well.

"Well honoured Ravenar, I am Lashantha Al'Carne of clan Val'Saghress, Matron Quin'tara's third daughter." Nodding her head slightly in greeting, the exausted drow settled back against the couch, giving Yolanda and Ino each a grateful smile.

"Well met, fellow Drow." Ravenar said with a slight smile and a nod. It seemed she wasn't too bad, as of right now, at least. "But as for my origin, Kal'Daka, my youngest brother, reported to us about a year ago that our House, the DeMirro House, lay in ruin, our Matron and Patron slain." He shook his head. "And Cryso was a good man..." He looked up, back at Lasha. "But enough of that."

"What brings you to this area, Lashantha?" He asked her, raising a thin, white eyebrow. "I'm quite certain that most Drow wouldn't simply be strolling along these sun-lit lands... I know I wouldn't, had I the option..."

He thought about what he just said. Was he telling the truth? Now that he thought about it, it was simply an inbred habit.

"Actually, I wouldn't. These lands actually prove to be a bit more... kind." He said, with a glance over to Yolanda. She was the perfect example. "But enough of my rambling." He said, turning back to Lasha.

"I'm interested. Why are you here?" He asked her.

Looking at him suspiciously, a vague memory tickled the back of her mind. A story, from her childhood, of a drow in exile... But that was all she remembered as of now. Her own curiosity now perked at his (intentional?) slip, and Lasha, ever the sarcastic one replied to his question with.

"Oh, I thought I might just take a stroll one day and never went back." Which was followed by "Buki pry jaluk.." in muttered tones. She wasn't about to tell anything to this male just because he was of her race. Old habits kicking in from her life in the underdark. She never trusted her own kind fully.

Ravenar tried to remember some fragments of Drow he had remembered. He figured if he used them, they'd come back.

"Usstan shlu'ta kampi'un dosst ssinssrin ulu ser klezn szeous." He said in their tongue. "Xun naut eszak, l' rivvil orn naut kampi'un udossa." He assured her, hoping that he hadn't taught Yolanda Drow and forgotten doing so.

He continued. "Qualla, tesso uns'aa ele dos ph' ghil." He insisted. "Usstan xun naut hass'l ulu fashka dos, drill Usstan z'reninth nindel dos gumash kl'ae natha abbil." He finished, waiting for the woman to reply.

He hoped he had gotten his Drow right. He hadn't spoken his native tongue in a good amount of time. He hoped he hadn't gotten rusty...
