*smiels jofully* "My name is Joy..aww to bad!!I know!!i'll get ya a smoothie!!"

Kurai smiled back at Toadess at her classes. "Tooo bad i guess you aren't smart enough for AP Mage studies then. Mother AIli is teaching that one! its really fun! she makes the class very exciting..." Kurai then suddenly heard the Machines death sentance and turned around with a fearful expression.

"AHHH!!! NOOOO!!!" Kurai stared as he was slowly dragged into the trance of obeying the arrows movements and such. Slowlly the Max 300 banner loaded onto the screen

"Are you readY?" the machine asked Kurai. Sweat already started to drip off his face.

Kurai slowly heard the crashing 300 bpm beat blaze upon his body. Slowly his body was taken into the beatiful haze of confusion and obedience to steps. the first 10 steps rained down onto him quickly. He moved his feet agile and quickly in a movement only DDR heavy players can master them. A quick glide upon the mat his feet made and already it started to grow fatique from the demands. Halfway through the slight pause gave him a chance to lean down onto his knees and take only one deep breath before the song went from complete stop to a blazin 300 again. Faster and faster the song nears its ending with quick 1/12 air arrows. Finally the last note smashed into a beatiful freeze. Kurai sighed and took a deep breath..

The Maxx Unlimited banner showed its face.

Kurai turned to Ky panting with a slight twitch in his eyes. "What do you mean by that? DDR is the training of Timing and body control and of course quick agile ninja like speed!" Kurai then quickly turned to face the oncoming Freeze arrows. "ohh damnn!" The freeze mixed with quick air jumps confused him already seeing up right freeze with only the up frozen and the right hit again with an air made him think they were two air arrows. The Maxx unlimited mix had a distinct timing for him to smash onto the long freeze stream but more annoyingly he had to hit the slow streaming arrows at a massivlely reduced 100 bpm. Slowly the slight pause made its way to Kurai and Kurai leaned back onto his knees with another breath of air. Once again the arrows steamed by. This time the air arrows clustered togethers causing Kurai to hit 2 arrows from here to there jumping like a jackrabbit with spazisim. Kurai slowly broke down his body as misses start to bear its ugly face depleting his energy greatly but somehow Kurai mananged to made it through onto the crashing final air freeze arrows.

Kurai fell to his knees huffing and puffing

Legend of Max banner appeared.

Kurai turned to face Ky with an angered look (and very sweaty.. ). "Is that what you want then? just a simple battle between me huh!? WELL THEN!" Kurai heard the song of Legend of Max blare onto the speakers. the flashing lights of the DDR machine grabbed his attention. "umm.. well talk about it after this.." Kurai slowly got into his ddr stance and heaved a large breath of air staring down at the bottom of the screen awaiting his new steps at 333 bpm. Suddenly they blaze up. Kurai's health bar was already flashing red but fourtantnly for him the begining of Legend of max was actually easy. just simple patterns requiring quick reaction. He gained enough to fill most of the green up by halfway and the famous pause slammed away with 2 freeze air arrows. This time instead of freezing the song after the freeze arrow finished the freeze arrow was trapped within the freeze song. Meaning if Kurai lifted up any foot while the 2 freeze arrows was active. he would get N.G. which would deplete his health. this was a tricky manuver cause this would allow a chance for the next set of arrows to catch him off guard. a slow silence and suddenly the song blares back at 333 bpm Kurai missing the first 2 quickly reacted to hit the next sets. then the song ended with its famous insane Air patterns Kurai fell backwards as the song ended and almost hit his head on the bar behind him.

"...ahh.." Kurai slowly closed his eyes as the final song of the Max Quartet showed its face.

Max.(period) ((actually come to thikn of it max quartet is only on DDR EX home version not arcade O.o ))

Kurai slowly picked himself up using the red bar as he stared up at the screen. hell has shown its face.... then up came 1/2 steps at a blazing 300 bpm going right down up left then left up down right. simple pattern as it seemed but it continued to stream twoards Kurai nonstop. Kurai felt the fatique of his leg refusing to continue on the steps. Kurai quickly resorted to using andreline rushes. Slowly Kurai summoned out some energy from his body and used it to attack the last bit of notes. finally the 180 bpm section came. It was a haunting sample from the very first 'boss' DDR song Paranioa. softly the song played during the 180 rest. simple steps it was but then a soft hiss from the machine let out and Max.(period) shot back twoards 300 bpm. Kurai was nearing the end and he was well aware of what frightful speed it was about to throw at him. The 600 bpm section. Then it blasted. The 600 bpm arrows shot by Kurai depleting his life quickly for each consecutive miss. Kurai quickly caught on and tried using insticnts to hit the arrows. This proved diffucult. what he thought was left turned out to be down or right turned to be up. They stream past Kurai and Kurai's leg spaztatically hit any arrow he could. Slowly he neared the end the screen flashed Danger Danger. but at the last stream arrow he somehow managed to hit them using his knees. Almost loosing his freeze balance he sighed in relief after they moved away. "Thank you for playing..." the song boomed in a haunting voice.

"ahh jeez... i did it..." Kurai said softly to himself.
