We should be friends. Also, while were on the subject, the Wii is an annoying 5-minute gimmick. (But know this: DO NOT rip on the PS3, even though the PC owns it. Only I'm allowed to say that.)

this is the way I see it: PC: is the boss, if built right it can chew out any of the other platforms or all of them combined. Has arguably the best and most precise control system for 3rd person rpgs and puzzlers, hands down the best control system for FPS and racing outside of a gun and a wheel but sadly will never bee good with fighter games control schemes. Wii (or any of the nintendo platforms): fun gaming and the best selection/over all quality per quantity ratio of rpgs and puzzle games period. I find nintendo likes the method of quality over quantity and fair amount of variety even within their base genres. PS3: The rich people's game station, will usually blow the others away with it's specs and performance as well as additional utilities (dvd player and such). Also has the most games and the widest variety of games of any platform save the PC, including it's reverse compatibility, maybe even more. Has a fair amount of quality games, but has a lot of crap too. XB: Is teh suck. Microsoft takes the idea that sony sometimes leans on to the extreme: graphics over gameplay. There general idea seems to be "if the games is shiney enough, people won't notice the story sucks, or that it's exactly like 30 other games with almost the same title on our system". They have no real variety either. Their games seem to mostly consist of 3 genres: Sports, Racing and FPS. Now concentrating on 3 genre's might not be bad if they were the 3 most repetitive, over produced, least dynamic and usually the shallowest in storyline (if any) of any genres. I mean seriously, how many times do we need to story Normandy Beach in a game with the words "Medal of honor" in it? And then, when they get good games they tend to be those of companies that are simply putting them on multiple platforms, making the prospect of buying a XB not increased in proportion to the other platforms. The one thing I am grateful for is the fact that because this is Microsoft, and if they do get a break away hit that is only on their console, they will put in on the pc, usually with extra stuff. Hence I can enjoy my fable, halo and Unreal without having to own a stinky XB. I'm just so pissed that halo 2 is only for vista, and that I've heard bad things about how it was ported. Apple MACs: The only thing worse that XB for gaming and the only company who's plans for total domination exceed those of Bill's. The company that that assumes that all the viewers of their commercial's are too dumb to catch their horribly concealed subliminal messaging that macs are cool and hip and pcs are old, boring and stuffy. MACs are PCs dammit! As long as people buy windows and run it on a mac, microsoft could give a rat's a**, they still got your money b***h!....... I was really expecting an argument to erupt when I said the 360 sucks. I wouldn't say your opinions are great and not condemning in any way, but you agree with me, so it's okay.
Edit: Just watched the parody. I lol'd. HARD.
Another edit: I used to use Linux (had it dual-booted with Windows on my old laptop). In all honesty, I hated it. I liked all of the flashy aesthetic features; however, overall, it wasn't as productive as just using Windows. Doing anything was more complicated, and it was really an utter waste of time.

on another few notes:
the Wii should not have been the name of the console, they should have stuck with "Revolution", because that's what it is, a revolution in gaming style.
no one disses my Halo or MC will ******** you up homes, best sci-fi fps since Half Life.

I've got all three aswell, but I'd still buy any non-exclusive games on the PS3 because I just find it a much better console and I use it more than the other two combined. The only games I buy on the PC are RTS games, REAL RPGs and FPS games.
And Halo was an excellent series, until it hit numero tres, then it failed epicly. The entire Halo series never even held a candle up to Half-Life 1 or 2.

I loved the books and graphic novels as well (excluding "The Flood", which was basically the first game and the only novel not written by Eric Nylond) of course, Half Life is Half Life, the were breaking through FPS boundaries and doing it with genius coding. Still, i find that one of the reasons I find my self playing both Halo and Half Life over and over is there story lines and incredible play experience. That and Forman and Chief are totally super heroes. Because if Captain America is a super hero, so are they. They both saved their respective universes almost single handedly.

You should be hung. The Wii sells well for 2 reasons:
1) It's cheap
2) It appeals to non-gamers
This is great for sales, so Nintendo made the right choice. The downside is that Nintendo has completely forgotten, if not betrayed, all of the serious gamers that have kept it afloat over the years. Shame on you, Satoru, shame on you.
To anyone with at least half a brain, the Wii is a fruitless 5-minute gimmick that shouldn't be called a real console, rather a casual gaming machine.
