You think you'll get it out of me? Kione let out a slight purr. Oh please, I know you can do better then that, Airithn! Now, just calm down and relax for now. Let yourself go, all your worries cease. Your time will come. The young shaman nodded, curling up slightly. She yawned a bit before looking sleepily over at Airithn. Try and mingle a little. Keep your mind off of things. The social butterfly always gets the juiciest gossip y'know. You might find something a complete dud, or worthwhile of your time.

Rellick nosed Naharia back up to her perch, smiling as he heard the distant sound of her daughters clammoring for food... Hungry princesses... He smiled up at them, grinning when they gave squeeling giggles that sounded like a loving 'Grandpa!'... It should have made him feel old... It didn't... It lifted his spirit to have kits in the Den again, even if they were not his own...
Pacing back out side, he smiled at the sight of Nox lying not far away...Of course, the area about her had become the battlefield for a pair of kits, one he recognized as his own Grandson... With a smile he paced over, watching the scuffle.
"Nox..." He rumbled in his silken voice. "Caedmon..."
A note of authority crept into his voice. "Prince."
Jadera purred softly, snuggling to the warmth of his body. It was hard for her not to turn to him like a flower to the sun, for she so craved his nearness. "The Pride is healthy enough.. With all these newcommers, Scarlet Shadows has a Shaman to call their own... And perhaps a suitable candidate for Queen or two... As I believe my dear brother is in need of one of those..."
She eyed the land. "New kits were born, and even if they are not is, babes always did do wonders to lift Rellick's spirit, though he never really needed it..."
She frowned faintly. "Aside from wishing my brother was happier, I am perfectly content..."

Airithn swatted Kione with her tail. Had no idea you were into idle gossip, Kione. With a giggle, Airithn stood, and exited the den, lost in her own thoughts as she trailed to the river. She needed a drink...and to clear her thoughts.She had so much running through her head, trying to figure out exactly why she felt drawn to this pride. She dipped her head to drink. She'd really have to think about this...

Never having felt more welcome, when he said her name, she could only lift her gaze to him, a smile creeping over her muzzle. "Aye?" she finally managed. Her eyes when to the small cub, as he was adressed. No wonder he had been so fearless, of course he had nothing to fear with the stregnth of such a pride under his paws, and the love within his heart.
"Wot can I do for ye?" she stretched her paws out, her toes wiggling against the side of his paws, the size difference was amazing. She glanced past him, towards all of it, it scared her a little bit..more than a little. Her eyes went back to him.
His ears perked as he was adressed, he turned and found his grandfather behind him, his ears flattened for a moment. "Hi Grandpa..." He smiled as he untied himself from his new friend and gave his grandfathers front legs an affectionate headbutt. "Wheres mother? I want to show her Caedmon, Lookit him...hes so cool.." He grinned as he pawed at the other cub.
Caedmon turned his head, for a moment, his eyes just danced between the pair, his new friend, and the King. He gulped slightly, had he done something wrong, couldnt the prince play? But as the prince continued on, he found himself smiling and pawing back playfully. "'Lo yer Majesty.." He grinned before found himself climbing onto his mothers back.

Rellick sat, smiling down at her, and brushed her cheek with a large, gentle scarlet paw. He smiled gently, eyeing her and the two cubs for a moment, and then returning his gaze solely to her.
"Nothing, Lady..." He rumbled. "I am the King, if anything, it is for me to serve you... Is there anything you require?"
He turned back to his grandson, who wound about his paws, and smiled softly. The light in his golden eyes softened as he focused on the kit, as he was told it always did. "Adelio, your mother is feeding and tending your sisters... And then, I imagine, it will be your bath time, young Prince... But I am glad you have made a new friend, and I am sure your mother will be overjoyed..."
He glanced to Caedmon, smiling. "Greetings, young warrior..."
Kalliska returned quickly, a bounce in her step. She passed her father and his company with the young zebra draped across her back, entering the den. Inside, she cast it off, smiling as Naharia was there, tearing into a haunch. "You need to eat more..."
"Kits are exhausting." Naharia smiled, eating quickly as she kept an eye on her two daughters, who were curled in a ball watching the sunlight dance beyond the den. "But worth it..."

His eyes moved to Caedmon."Cmon, lets go see my mom..Shes cool. And we can mess with my sisters.." He looked to Nox, and bowed his head before racing off towards the den. "Mooooooooooom!" he called out, slipping a little.
Caedmon's cheeks turned as red as the markings that covered his body.."Heh.." He said as the king adressed him, his chest puffed a little bit. "Mum, can I go" He asked, with pleading eyes.
She let out a soft purr as she rubbed her cheek against his paw, "Wait.." She cleared her throat, it was time to slip into her other tongue. "Your the king, and yet...you want to know if there is anything you can do for me?" She laughed some more. "I didnt think things worked that way.." She smiled up at him.
She looked to her son and licked him softly. "Go with your friend.." She nudged him softly and watched as he scampered off. "Your grandson is beautiful." She said as she watched the pair disappear. She rose to a sitting position, "Your pride, again is just amazing.." She watched it all, she already felt a close tie to it all. "Thank you for letting me stay." She smiled, and brushed her tail against his. "How is life treating you my friend.."

Jager listened to his mate talk, eyes still closed. His tail curled around her slightly, eyes still closed. "Hmm, I see. I think King Rellick will finally find the peace he seeks." Sitting up, he looked over at her.
"Jadera, I've been giving it some serious thought...I was wondering if....you wanted cubs. I know we haven't talked about it, but I want to know if you want a family, Jadera. Are you happy not being a mother?" He looked at her hesitantly not sure if he struck the right chord.

Naharia perked, giving a soft, purring trill that was her call to her young. She trilled again, calling to her son. A smile lit her face and eyes, for she was more than overjoyed to be able to tend cubs of her own. Another trill. "Adelio."
Rellick smiled, purring softly at her as the cubs scampered off. "Lady Nox, in Scarlet Shadows, you will find that there are many things that are not as you would expect.. In my Pride I believe it is the King's duty to protect, guard and serve his pride..."
He nosed her. "You are more than welcome in my land and home.. I hope you find it to be a suitable environment to raise your son... As for life..."
He gave a shrug. "She is nice as kind as she has been... But perhaps things are changing..."
Jadera purred and snuggled closer, pausing to listen to him speak. She smiled slightly. "I hope so..."
At his questions, she considered him. "Do... Do you want cubs Jager?" She asked softly, arching a brow at him... She always considered having cubs, especially after seeing how happy it made her brothers... But.. If Jager didn't want cubs... Well.. There were always other's she could watch over...
Even if she couldn't love them like her own.

The medium-sized male shrugged his shoulders staring away from her. "I wouldn't mind, but..." Thoughts of his father ran through his mind. Would it be genetic? Would he have that sudden urge to leave Jadera after they had cubs and find another female? He swore to the Fates he would not be like the demon-sire that spawned him, but part of him was afraid.
However, his love for Jadera outweighed that fear and he knew that he would not be like his father. He wouldn't allow himself to go that route. Jager would rather kill himself than do that to his love...Looking back over, he gave her a small smile. "Yes, I want to be a Father, Jadera." His tongue caressed her ear softly before he rested his nose against her cheek keeping close. "I wouldn't mind cubs one bit...it's even better that it's with the love of my life."

His mothers calls caught his attention even further, he came running towards her "Mother!". Coming up to her side, he nuzzled her leg and then looked back to his new friend whom was following him. "Caedmon!!...mom his is my friend." He looked back at her, and grinned.
Caedmon's steps were shy at first, so many other lions around. So many strangers, his ears bent back slightly as he followed his friend, the young prince it seemed. "Hi." He said sheepishly, he looked to his friends sister, thankfully he only had one of those.
She smiled, "Lady Nox is so formal, please just call me Nox." She curled her tail around her back legs, her feathers brushing against her side softly. "Your a good King, Rellick.. I am honored to be welcomed here..." She smiled and purred. "Ah, life is a fickle creature...hopefully she will show us some kindess."

Jadera smiled, nuzzling her mate. The thought of making a family with him made her heart lighter, his caress at her ears made her giggle. She pawed at him playfully.
"Well then." She said in a soft, loving voice. "Perhaps we should consider trying for a family..."
Rellick smiled and shrugged. "You will always be a Lady to me Nox... You are one of my dearest friends... I have known you longer than some of the lions or lionesses in my Pride... And I am glad you have come to stay with us..."
Now if only he could get what he was thinking out of his mouth, instead of letting it prowl around in his skull....
Naharia smiled at her son and his friend, nosing them in greeting. "Adelio... Your friend? Caedmon is it? Lovely to meet you..."
She gave a soft purr and cuddled her son a bit, grinning at her daughters who trilled a happy hello to their brother.

Airithn yawned, and made her way back to the den. She shook her head softly, watching the others in the pride. What a crew they were. She liked it here, so much better that her old home. It was quiet, and calm...the positive energy was abound. She liked it here...and damn if she was gunna leave.

His maw curved into a slight smirk at the thought. If she was ready, then so was he. His forepaws held her to him, nose nudging at her cheek before he licked slowly on her muzzle, mischief glinting off of his eyes. "Well then...let's try for a family, Princess." His tail wrapped around hers, keeping her frame close to his body. He inhaled her scent, closing his eyes.

Flare, a little tired from excitement, layed back down and looked around the pride, still a little curious. All of the heat and excitement finally got to her again, and she closed her eyes.

Kalliska watched the lionesses and cubs romping around with a small smile, eyes thoughtful. She very much loved her home, there was always someone to look after, or someone to hunt with... But wandering was starting to play a large roll in her life, and she found herself moving beyond the Pride's borders, searching... Always searching...
She turned to Lady Airithn, knowing how her father felt about the male, and smiled. "Something on your mind, Oh lovely Lady?" She prodded.
Jadera laughed softly in her throat, eyes dancing as she pressed herself closer to her mate. She traced down his muscled back with her tailfeathers, rubbing her face under his chin with a soft purr. "Yes, Let's... My Wandering Prince... It would be my greatest joy, to raise a family with you..."
