It wants you to know more. It feels, that you, like me, have untapped potential in its ways. But alas, I told you this the first time made contact with it." he said in a solemn tone silently cursing himself for allowing her to change clothes. If nothing else it would've been a nice view.

"One last tip, you're just a newbie to the art of using the planeshifting matrix. Even if I let you see more you wouldn't learn any faster. The matrix is a separate energy system. It creates and uses its own energy to fuel the jumps. As you may notice. It tires you. And if you were to try again it would take about twice the time to gather the energy. Then four times longer, then eight. And it would keep on going that way until you rested and let it cool down. There is, however, a way around this weakness. By siphoning your own energy into the matrix you can help it refuel faster. However, that's what I was speaking of. Accomplishing that task is different for each person. Because each person's energy carries a different signature and would connect in a different way. So you could see how I do it all day long and you'd be no closer to doing it with your body." he replied sitting on a black colored couch not too far from the bed. The darkness in the room all bit hid him with the exception of those pale white eyes.

"Of course it's not. I can't ever be that lucky." he replied simply sneering in the darkness. If it wasn't him he knew who it was for. He really, really needed to kill that kid since she was too stupid to leave him even though since their big speech and near fight at her house, he had been, as usual, AWOL. "You can come here all you want. Nothing changes. I control this void. Just because you can enter a void does not mean you are it's owner. So you're free to move about here as you wish. But no one else. If I ever find out you brought someone here without my consent to, well, I'll bring you back here. And you won't leave without a few things mentally and physically broken. Are we clear on that?" he requested in a stern tone. He didn't mind if she came here to gather thoughts and escape the every day. Just so long as none of those other buffoons got in here with her. This was the one place he was free from them all.

She could hear him scoff in the darkness at her words. "Hardly. I am only upset that you can't unattach yourself to what is basically a ghost. You think you see it and then it's gone again for who knows how long." he replied back in a more serious tone. "Or maybe it's because every time you remind me of your unavailability, especially where it concerns stupidity, I grow a little more hatred for it" the dark concluded narrowing his pale white eyes in her direction.

"I have been the most consistent thing in your life since your arrival here. This you cannot deny. You know no other creature more intimately than you know me. Using the word intimate as a figure speech not in a romantic way" he clarified "Fine. You want to know how it should be? Then watch and learn." he said bending the laws of the realm again. She'd be fine in the bed but all vision beyond it would fade away. This is where memories of Yawgmoth's time with his former dark queen Crow would begin to play like a movie. He was happy then. At peace. Though both of them were undeniably evil it would be plainly obvious to see how much they cared about one another. Since she wanted to know what it was like he showed her everything. Everything. From just sitting around and being in the same room with her holding his dark queen, to making love, to their wedding, to his son's birth. Everything he had experienced with Crow. Everything he missed. The 'movie' would end with Crow's weakness in her dungeon and how he waited for her to get better knowing he could do nothing, and now she never came out. In the end it was ambiguous if she died or if he had just given up waiting for something that was never going to come. The rest of the room would slowly back into view with those pale white eyes starring at her. Though instead of narrow they were blank, soft. "Happiness comes so infrequently, you have to take advantage of everything while you have it in your grasp. Because you never know when it's going to disappear on you." his solemn voice replied from the depths of the darkness.

"Yes, it was. And I regret nothing. I was happy, I seized everything about it. Because unfortunately for yours truly. Mine did disappear on me. And who knows when it's going to come back. But you can bet your a** that when and if it does. I'll reach out and crush it with an iron grip and embrace everything from it. Just in case it's going to disappear again." he replied gently. Leaning back against the couch he sat in he ran his fingers through his hair. It was worth it, wasn't it? Losing his son, then losing Crow. Just for the experiences he shared. Yes, he concluded in his head, yes it was. Releasing a deep sigh his pale white eyes closed slowly and he sank into his thoughts for the time.

"You assume correctly. To a point that is. Reeve's focus was trying to kill me. Hunter's focus is on his own development which is why he is so often gone now leaving with his father. Where they go no one knows but when they come back he has always changed right? You simply haven't met someone who's interest is in finding that same happiness. Well, you have. Again to a point though" he said pondering the notion for a few moments. His eyes peeled open slowly starring blankly at her once again. "Me." he said simply.

Yawgmoth almost laughed, she still didn't get it. Ahh how fun. His eyes moved up and down in the dark. "Yes. How many times must I tell you that if the two of us were to go that route that I would play by your rules and not my own. Because in the end I will get what I want, which will make me happy, and you'll get what you want. Making you happy. Everyone wins. It is a much more desirable scenario than anything I've threatened you with in the past yes?" he answered back. Sure he figured dating was just a pleasantry but he did speak the truth. He could be 'that guy' again if it meant his own happiness. And being 'that guy' for her would make her happy. He saw no downside well...heh except the repercussion of everyone else in the syndicate should such a thing happen.
