"Hm......Afternoon, Sir! How's it rockin'?"
Leaning against the armrest, Diana examined the scruffy janitor standing beside Hayden. Something about the guy was sending ugly vibes into her...and she didn't believe it was the cleaning stuff this guy used.
Personally, the guy looked like a sleaze-ball, but she wasn't going to say that outloud. So, puting on a fake smile she grinned at the cleaning dude.

Kira easily slipped off the counter and walked straight up the Phil, placing the magazine onto the table and holding her hand out to Phil. "It's nice to meet you, Phil. I'm Kira Hiromi, but you can call me Kira. I hope you;ll find the cleaning here most satisfactory?"

The janitor was no fool. His eyes scanned the room behind the girls, noting that it was miraculously spotless. Impressive. Quite impressive.
Especially considering the destruction he'd seen behind the door in his brief glance earlier. Now, as much as he wondered how they'd managed to clean up so quickly, the more important question was why? Why would they go to such trouble in an attempt to cover their tracks? Were they that afraid of getting in trouble already? They didn't seem to be the type, to be honest. Plus, they couldn't have any idea of what they were dealing with just yet. So why...?
Glancing at the guard who looked like he was about to have a coronary, Phil smirked. So...there was a connection. Hayden must have convinced them to cover for him before he'd left the room. Or was it their decision to protect him? Either way, the situation was quite interesting. Quite interesting indeed.
"Good afternoon, ladies. I must say, I'm a bit surprised. I'd been informed that there was a situation here that required my attention, but it seems that I was misinformed. How...fortunate." He chuckled, leaning on the door frame. His pleasant words carried a subtle, threatening undertone, though his posture seemed relaxed and at ease.
"It would have been a shame if this place had turned out to be the chaotic warzone I'd been told about." He laughed humorlessly, making a mental note to keep an eye on these two, as well as the guard. One never knew who could be useful in the future.

Yep...this dude was greasier that her fathers' homemade saddle cleaner...and that was pretty greasy to begin with. The undertone of his words were sending off warning signals.
"Emergancy? Maybe yer thinking of the mens' room down the hall. Kira and I are just kinda hanging out, ya?"

Kira smiled and laughed at Diana's remark, playing off of it. "Yes, you may want to be careful the next time you go in there to clean. I heard some very strange noises coming out from behind the door.... Might I suggest borrowing a stun stick when you go in there?"
She then smiled brightly to Hayden. "Hayden, you look like you've seen a ghost. Are you feeling alright? Maybe a fever?" Smoothly, she walked up to the guard and placed her hand on his forehead, leaning in enough to whisper softly into his ear. "Told you we would be fine...."

There was no way Phil was going to buy this...and yet...how could he call them on it now? There was no proof left!
Careful not to respond to Kira's whispered statement, he forced what he hoped was a disarming smile and shook his head. "No, no...just fine. Probably just hungry. It is getting close to dinnertime and I skipped lunch today; that's all. Probably just low blood sugar or something." He waved his hand casually, informing the room that he was nothing to be worrying about.
'You are one lucky son of a...'
"So, Phil...seeing as we must have been misinformed, I suppose there are no more problems here? It's getting close to quitting time for you anyway, right? How about you grab a bite to eat and enjoy the rest of your evening? I'll make sure these ladies find their way back to their rooms. What do you say? It's been a long day all around, I believe..." Mentally 'holding his breath,' Hayden prayed to whoever might have been listening that the janitor wouldn't call his bluff; that he'd simply give up and walk away...
...just this once...please...

As fun as it would be to watch the kid squirm some more, the janitor had more than enough by this point to hold over his head if necessary. Plus...it really was after quitting time. He wasn't getting overtime for this hassle, though he almost didn't need it for this much fun and possible future profit.
Almost.
"Yeah, suppose some lines must have gotten crossed along the way, eh?" he responded smoothly, shooting the young guard a pointed look. "Strange how things like that seem to happen around here. Professionalism is always the first to go; next thing you know, the whole place is going straight to hell." He laughed, as if he'd made some spectacularly witty comment, and clapped Hayden on the shoulder with a heavy hand. He squeezed, perhaps a bit stronger than necessary as he chuckled darkly. "Just don't let these young sirens tempt you with their youth and beauty, friend."
Barely veiled warning delivered, he nodded to the 'guests', "Ladies. If you'll excuse me..." Without waiting for a response from either party, he exited the room and headed down the hallway alone, mop in hand. He allowed himself a chuckle, thinking of today's success. Valuable information, both general and of the blackmail variety, and a possibly useful taser to boot. All without prior planning.
Ah yes...it was a good day.

"Bye bye, Sir!"
Diana waved roboticly until the janitor stepped out of the room. As his footsteps faded, her temper flared up. Cursing, she hopped off the couch and started to stomp around the room. That guys' cocky attitude irritated the trainer to no end, she absolutely HATED people like that! Marching over to the door, she yanked it open and (being careful that there was no one around) waved the finger in the direction that the evil dude disappeared down the hall.

Kira smiled and waved happily to Phil, "Have a good evening, sir." She watched him go out of the room, then sweatdroped as Diana ran out and gave him the finger, reaching over and pulling her in. "I think we've cut it close enough times for right now.... Agreed Hayden?" She smiled sweetly up at her security guard friend.

Hayden merely collapsed weakly into one of the lounge chairs, hands over his eyes. He was literally shaking and he could tell he'd need a while to recover before he even dared head back to his room.
"That...was WAY too close," he muttered quietly after a moment. He dropped his head back against the chair as he slid down weakly into the comfortable seat. He draped his arm over his face, dropping the other to his side, not noticing how much he was still shaking. Close. WAY too close. That was an understatement. Terrible things were looming on the horizon; that much was certain. The question was...how soon? And could he manage to do anything worthwhile before then?

Kira softly put a hand on Hayden's and smiled. "Do you mind escorting me to my room? I'm feeling a little light headed from the cleaning products and I think I inhaled too many of their fumes. I don't want to fall over and get hurt on my way back." The room was spinning a bit, but not enough to make her topple over as if though she'd just gotten off of a large, spinning top..
