Tangerine tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for the two to turn back around and when they did, she ceased her fidgiting. At the question Marilene looked over to her Captain, who was smiling devilishly. "Yes, but as I recall you dear Asherah, know where the, ahem , 'booty'," At this she raised her hands did the quick 'bunny ears'. " is. As I am the only Captain here and cannot be wasting my time trying to find something YOU know the location, I am therefore obliged to be helpin' yeh." She paused, quite pleased with herself. "Unless of course you want to go it alone... And I truly don't think this... Gentleman." Her smile faded for a moment, "Is willing to help."

Arron lifted his index finger in protest and his eyebrows in interest. "Quite the contrary. A pirate is a pirate, after all. And we all know just how much pirates love a good treasure hunt, am I right? Also," he said biting his lower lip in thought, "I can't really go back now that I've told you all this. Knowing Captain and knowing...well, her," he said, indicating Asherah, who did not particularly like being referred to with pronouns and glared at him with her hands on her hips. "Err... right. In any event, this situation calls for three choices on my part. I could either go back to the Captain and risk being thrown in the brig for going against his word, go back to town and try to lie low and hope no one comes looking for me, or I could come with you. And I would choose to come with you. After all, a pirate is a pirate."
"'n dat's why Cap'n keeps ye on der boat," she chimed in, pinching his cheek in a manner that mimicked everyone's least favorite aunt. "B'cause ye talk pretty."

Tangerine placed her hands on her hips, a large, smug smile on her face. "Lovely. And since ye be staying with me, it means you're now part of my crew and you may address me as Captain Tangerine. Or jus' Captain. It's really your choice." She giggled a bit giddly, then paused, as if thinking. "No, don't even-" Marilene began but was interuppted by Tangerine who shouted, "This occasion calls for a drink! Don't you all think so?!!" She rubbed her hands together and whirled around back toward the resturant they had left. "And while we're at it we can eat and be merry!" She giggled again, taking a step forward.

Asherah smiled. "I canneh ever turn down a drink, Cap'n." And promptly followed after.
"Er... thank you... Captain," though before he could get the words out of his mouth, she had turned and they were off. He rubbed the bridge of his nose and mumbled "Oh God, not another one" before sucking it up and following.

"Please..." Marilene began, following after the two girls. "Please no rum tonight?!" She called, her face pinched in worry. "Bah!!" Tangerine replied briskly, looping her arm into Asherah's as she began a strange redention of an old song.
((Erm~ We can skip a little bit unless you have something we could do during the drinking. Or we could just right to their drukenness.XD)

((I'll start!))
'WITCH!!" Tangerine screamed, slurring the word incredibly and waving around her bottle of rum which was nearing the bottom. Marilene was sitting at the same table, but as far as was possible from her now druken captain. She sighed loudly, a groan escaping while still sounding pretty. "Can you believe it?! He called me a witch!" Tangerine laughed crazily, snorting and hiccuping.

"Ay weetch ye says? Tha's righ hirrariuh righ 'ere," responded Asherah, in a sentence that was significantly more vowels than consonants and was therefore only comprehensible to someone who was equally, if not more drunk. "Dia I evuh tell ye 'bou der time Ah were mistookern fer serm emp'ror's long lost sumfin'erover? Surpose iswha happen when ye port en ye'r best'un'finust inna place whurr ye'r nae sure whur ye are..." She let out a high-pitched cackle.
Arron sighed. It wasn't that he didn't drink, because he certainly did enjoy a drink now and then, but he at least knew how to drink responsibly: alternate alcohol and water, only in small doses at a time, pacing oneself, etc. Someone had to remain coherent, anyways.
It was lucky for him that the uniform he was wearing in the restaurant was only an apron over his normal clothes. He was so bland-looking that they hardly recognized his face despite the fact that he had only been gone less than an hour. Hence, there was no trouble.
In any event, sitting and watching his new captain and old crewmate get smashed was losing its interest. He wasn't worried, really. If anything, Asherah would probably pass out before she could do anything stupid. And Tangerine, well he would wait and see. He sidled up to Marilene and timidly tried to start conversation. "I take it she does this a lot, does she?"

Marilene rolled her head from side to side, dreading this conversation. She finally lifted it and sighed. "Yes. Everytime we have a simple thing to celebrate she goes out drinking like a crazy person." She sighed again, pressing her hand to her forehead to support he head. "I don't mind, really I don't... I just don't like to drink. It messes with me... And I don't like it." She shook her head a little more and shrugged. She looked him up and down a minute, then added,"Why aren't you drinking?" She looked innocently enough at him, wondering as her Captain screamed something undeterminable.

"I...uh... well, one of us has to stay sober. And since it clearly isn't her, then it must be me. And I doubt that in the event that all three of us pass out, you'd be able to carry us," he rationalized, but not before adding "No offense."
"So how long have you and... erm... the Captain known each other?

Marilene shrugged the comment off. It had been a long day and she was tired, so any comments couldn't really touch her now. "Well... A while. Since I was...Oh... About... 10?" She concluded matter of factly. That was almost ten years, considering she was now 19. To her it seemed a long time, but living with her Captain for any amount of time would seem long.

Asherah stretched her arms out as far as they could go, as if she were using them as measurement. "An' it were this beeg!" Arron rolled his eyes as if to say "oh, she's telling that story again," but instead payed more attention to the lovely lady sitting next to him, for she was, by far, more interesting.
"Since you were ten, you say? Have you always been pirates, then, or is this just a recent endeavor?"

Marilene fidgeted, hearing Tangerine's druken cackle and her screams of 'Impossible', although it was spoken in French for reasons unknown. "Well... We didn't become pirates until a few years ago... I was... 15 I believe. We had just been orphans before... And then we meet this man..." She trailed off, sighing a little, as if remebering how things were or could have been instead of how they are.

At the mention of another man, he felt a slight bit jealous. Upon realizing that he was jealous, he became embarrassed and turned a slight shade of pink. It wasn't just that she mentioned him, but the way she mentioned him that had an affect on him. That's the way it worked with women: it wasn't what you said, but how you said it that made the world of difference. Which meant that it went both ways: you have to listen when they talk as well. And what she was saying, along with that dreamy look in her eyes, it meant more than "Oh, just some guy."
He swallowed his vague jealousy and smiled. "A man, you say," he squeaked, then cleared his throat. "What... er, what sort of man?" Right. Because a squeaky voice is ever-so manly.

Marilene dabbed her finger in a spot of water on the table, forlonly dragging it across so that the water streched. "A big, old man. He found us just wandering around one day and took us onto his boat. A pirate boat." She began, emphazing the word 'pirate'. She sighed again, shaking her finger of the water. "He told his crew not to touch us, just let us help him. And we did... We did all sorts of things. We hoisted the flags, washed the deck, even did some laundry. Tangerine loved it. When the man, who was the Captain, decided we were ready to go he just dropped us off at one of the ports. We haven't seen him since. Heard he actually got attacked and the whole crew died once he dropped us off... " She shrugged nonchalantly. It had been such a strange occurence. He had just picked them up and put them to work, then just as flighty dropped them off. "Are you alright? Your voice?" She asked out of kindness.
