The end... Letting his legs give way, the man went along with the motion. However, as the man was in the air spikes shot from the ground suddenly. They were high enough to go right through Skye, and because the man had ahold on his tail flying would be far to difficult. Skye was also close to the ground and the spikes gave him litterally no reaction time. The spikes were everywhere around and under Skyeheart. This was, of course, a Magik spell... But the rules of this land did not apply to the man. After all, he was already technically dead.

But then, a flash came from Skyeheart's Aura shield. In a burst of radiance, the attack vanished. The Aura shield held runic properties, and had absorbed the magic. The spikes had given Skyeheart an idea though. Planting his Tidal trident like he planned to in the first place, Skyeheart halted the motion and pulled back hard. There was no way he could resist this time. Being airbone, he could not pull back nor could he change direction, and his claws were too embedded to be able to let go in his position. Skyeheart charged his Hyper Gauntlets, and gave an all-out downward smash right in the head.

((Naw dude. If it was like a beam of energy than that attack could work, but the attack is actually coming from the earth. In order to do that you would have to change the chunks of earth into nothingness... which could not happen. Besides, a shield that nullifies all magic based attacks? thats a little eccessive...))

(Well then in that case, let's just say the shield was underneath and blocked it. Then Skyeheart used the new spikes to do the action as listed. Besides, the Aura Shield is a blessed weapon. It has all kinds of properties. And look who's talking, you have a whole dimension that does the same thing.)

((But see, there are so many spikes that you would still get hit somewhere... It's covering the floor everywhere around you. And I don't think the sield is one that covers your whole body. confused Once again, a weapon that nullifies all magik attacks is rediculous. Energy attacks; understandable. Elemental attacks; not so much.))

(Well if you check my bio, you'll see they allowed it. And it's just the floor, which means it's coming in only one direction)

((It just seems really god-modish to me. And I know it's only coming from one direction. But because the spikes are everywhere if you protect your chest you still get hit in the legs, arms or face. Get what I'm saying?))

(I thought I was upright, not sideways. That gives less area)

((No, because if you pushed off with your hands and your feet it leaves you in a animal like position.))

(No, I only used my feet, wouldn't that turn me to an upright position?)

((But you still used your arms for the first pull, still putting you in that animal like position. Like when a dog runs; he uses his front legs, then uses his back legs... but his body is still facing the ground.))

(But when I only use by back legs, all the force goes there, it's like standing up after crawling, am I not right?)

((I see what your trying to say... But when you stand up after crawling your propelling yourself up. However, when your tackling your body is slanted, propelling you to the side.
Besides, even if your standing straight your in trouble. The spikes get your legs unless you bend down to protect them with your sheild, then your even more exposed.))

(I understand, so let's leave it like this, the combination of Skyeheart's Sol Mail and Aura Shield along with his dragon skin is enough to prevent any impalsion. Skyeheart then executes the manevuer to strike back using one of the caught spikes.)

((Ung... I'll let that work for now. Keep in mind though; Dragon scales may be harder then metal, but they are still vulnerable. Given enough strength and sharpness, they can be pierced quite easily. As for Mail... It has a weak structure and very many exposed points.))
As Skye pulled again, it gave the man just enough of a jerk to rip off the chunks of the tail that kept him holding on. Just like the previous times the man suddenly disappeared as he moved through the air. A slight 'clink' was heard coming from the wall, and suddenly the man was on the side of Skye once again. This time two swords were in hands, but they were moving so quickly that all they appeared to be were black blurrs. Each sword strike moved for a specific area; the neck, the armpit, the lower side ribcage, the hip and the side eye. His feet were bent slightly, one leg in front of the other, ensuring a change in movement and the ability to focus a counter attack into the ground.
