"I am able to care for myself, thank you." she said softer yet, her face shown mild irritation but she did not wish to bring trouble to either of her friends. "Indeed, this, a place of light, you must not feel very well, at least not for long." she replied, tilting her head and observing Fox. Both would soon notice, if not already, that she had yet to smile.

"Hmmm..." David's eyes flashed, and suddenly the room around them morphed into an open courtyard, and dark stones appeared under Fox's feet, to prevent him from being burned by the holy ground.

"Thank you, David." she said softly, referring to the change in atomosphere and accomidating Fox's needs. She bowed her head slightly, feeling conflicted on things, not knowing what might be next.

" Yes Thanks for making it so my souse did not get messed up any more hen they already have. " He said with a smile and then looked at Ziven and then back at David. He looked like he wanted to say something but he would not let it leave his lips. This made a wearied look on his face because he was not one to keep things in so it was almost a complete change of his charter. but it was needed.

A shadow seemed to quickly cross David's face. Quickly bowing to the two, he said, "Please forgive me, but there is a problem I must attend to. I will return shortly." He spread his large wings and took to the skies, darting away almost too fast to see.

She bobbed her head and looked to Fox for a moment. Stepping closer to Fox, the portal for they to return to RDS opened and she quickly brought him through it, returning them home.

Carus appeared in his cave, his arm bleeding profusely. "Damn him..." He searched through his trunk searching for his first aid kit. "Damn...why can't I heal...I may actually have to fight in this war..." Finding the box, he opened it and began binding his arm with a long roll of gauze. Within moments, however, it was soaked and dripping with his blood. "Damn it..." All of a sudden Carus collapsed against the wall, the blood loss was too much... "Someone...anyone...please help me..."

Having been meditating and listening for others, she heard Carus speaking as if they were intentionally speaking. Standing, she replied immediately; "As you wish." before disappearing with a pop, reappearing at his side but a moment later. With a soft gasp, she took him in her arms, helping him to the floor. "Please .. do not move." she said softly, immediately beginning to clean his wounds with magic and begin the healing process.

Carus's head slumped as he lost consciousness the moment Ziven appeared in the cave. If she tried to communicate with him telepathically, her mind would be met with chaotic thoughts and memories.

She continued to heal him working quickly and carefully to make sure he was able to heal properly. After a few moments, his arm would be just fine. In case of the wound opening again or not having continued to heal properly, she wrapped his arm in a bandage, cleaned their clothes and the floor of his blood, before picking him up and taking him to his cot, resting him there carefully. Sitting next to him, a chair to sit on appeared as she sat, resting there politely, watching and waiting for him to wake or show signs of needing more help. After a moment, she began to sing for him also, a calm song about peaceful times, rest and healing.

Carus's eyes flicked open as he pointed at a shelf on the other side of the cave. "Bring me the vial...blood red..." He shuddered and lost consciousness again.

Startled, she moved her hands to prevent him from rising, careful to still be gentile. When he made a request, she smiled and bobbed her head. Rising gracefully, she went to the far side of the cave, fetching the vial and returning it to him.

When she returned, she would notice that the wound had re-opened. He was loosing massive amounts of blood, and unfortunately, right now the only way for him to replenish it would be to for him to drink more.
His eyes flicked open when she brought the bottle to him and he took it from her, his movements slow and measured. He raised it to his lips, and in two gulps it was gone. "Ziven...I'm sorry to ask this again, but I need a little favor..."

She looked to him, smiling cheerfully, hoping he would be alright, until she saw his arm. When he spoke, she knew it was much worse than she thought. With a nod, she encouraged him to go on, though she was still working on redressing the wound with fresh bandages again. "Worry not friend, I will do my best to provide."

"Are you sure?" When he spoke, fangs were visible, thanks to the effects of the transformation potion.
