"Well, if there's one thing I know is that the forest can change people. Myself...if you look at me you probably see this frail, skinny boy. But since I started staying in the forest for so long I've felt stronger and my senses are better. I also learned how to tell humans from forest creatures. That girl....she was one of the first people to dissappear in Araino Woods. Those wings....they were her pet." Saku winced slightly.

Stop having 3 conversations and a battle without me!! crying Its making it hard for me to catch up!
Anna (who had fallen over in the chair) looked up at Kyo. "See? Now she has no excuse to let us stay away," She sat up and smiled at Saku. "If you and that girl can get to the point where you can stand up to theose soilder things, then so can we. All the two of us need is the right training, some extra exercise..." She looked thoughtful for a moment. "And if the forest changes us, then that can only help." She picked the chair up and set it straight and began to go around the rest of the room just randomly picking things up that had become messed up in the fighting. Seeing Kyo's raised eyebrow, she gave a sheepish smile. "Sorry," she said. "Force of habit. HEY!" she turned to Saku excitedly. "Hey, I got an idea! You said that no one respects you in the forest right? Well, if you managed to get into the Other World like that girl, they would, right? So the three of us can all go look together!" Anna grinned. "If all three of us had the right training, theres no way they could keep us out!"

Anna looked at window. "Oh, my..." she walked closer to it, and opened it up for the little dragon thing. "You shouldn't do that, you know. You could hurt yourself," she said. She put a hand out for the creature to land on it. "If you wanted to come in, you could have just tapped politly."

"Are you mad?" Saku asked. "Tbe king of the Other World would have us killed if we found a way in...." She stopped to think. "But...I suppose if we were strong enough to hold our own that wouldn't matter." She looked at the Dragon and blinked but smiled slightly and rubbed his head. She wasn't afriad of things like the dragon. Not anymore. "I suprised, little fellow. I've never met another dragon brave enough to leave the forest."

"i have more eyes and ears in the woods than you know" she chuckled "i will be alright. Yes i think ill head home. If the king should send more soldiers im sure you'll find out about it"
Cloud looked at Ryuu wondering what he would do but didnt bother to ask. She just headed off toward the tree she lived in. He could follow if he wished.

Kyo was looked at the dragon. "Today is weird...." He nodded at what Saku said. "She's right. I don't know the king, but he would proubly think of us as a threat. Its better we keep people out."

Ryuu stood there for a moment and then ran to catch up. He walked beside Cloud. "The king will will get the soldier's bodys examined with magic and he'll find your prints. Then he'll search everywhere. I'll stay with you, incase they come to you house."

"Are you frightened Ryuu" she asked him "you seem so concerned about his highness coming after me."
She reached her tree and climbed up into it. The branches shifted a bit in welcome and the leaves rattled in an invisible wind. Tip buzzed up to his nest of leaves and barried herself there. Cloud had a hamock of sorts tied up between some branches. The rest was inside a backpack which she still kept. It had a drawing book, a flute, and some food stuff she'd saved from the woods.

Ryuu looked up at her. "You have no idea what he'd do to you." He climbed up and sat on a branch next to her and said slowly, "He hates humans... he dosn't like to give quick kills. He'll toture you untill your begging him to stop." Ryuu curled his lip in a snarl. "I couldn't let that happen."

"Do you like humans all of a sudden Ryuu" she asked "when i first met you you hated humans. Yet i caught you following me all the time."
Cloud winced for a second after she was done talking. It was hardly noticable unless you'd been looking for it. She sighed.
"will you excuse me for a few Ryuu" she said "i have to take care of something. If i catch you spying you will regret it"
Cloud hopped down from the tree. She wondered over to a stream that was near by. Slipping into the water she removed her shirt revealing bandages all across her back that wrapped around to the front. Taking them off cloud had large lash marks down her back. They didnt look too well.
Tip zipped out from under his leaves and went to her side. He buzzed around her back and touched the wounds lightly to ease the pain. Then he dipped himself in the water and then dripped down her back. It washed alot of the dried blood away. Cloud splashed water over her back letting the cold water numb her back.
Then started wrapping it back up again with a little bit of trouble.

Anna stroked one of the dragon's wings. It actually felt soft and smooth instead of leathery like she had suspected. "Well, we could try to keep people out, and three people would be better that just one..." She looked thoughtful for a moment. "But still, we would only be three. People would still be able to get in, and they would still die. We can't save everyone, despite our best efforts." She set the dragon on her shoulder. "I vote that we go and find someone who can use magic, and get them to put some sort of barrier around the forest so people can't go in... Or something. Ow." The dragon started climbing on her head.

"It's not that easy." Saku said. "And it could take months for you both to reach even my level....No offense..." Saku sighed. "I wish I was a mage. That would make things easier....I could have helped him then...." Saku felt like she was going to cry.
