Max got up and walked to the door, standing in the opening and looking out, "Hmm... I'm not really sure... It looks like an actual train station. I don't think I've ever been here before."
Lea walked past him out the door. "We're in Twilight Town," She said simply, not looking back at the others.
Max followed her off the train, reaching out to touch her shoulder but pulling his hand back before he actually touched her. "You mean this is-..."
Lea nodded and turned to face her friend and half smiled, "Yeah, this is it. I guess I'm finally home, huh?"

Soul got out and looked around. Everything was very... Orange. Twilight town was at twilight time, so he guessed it was a good time for a nap. Never-the-less, he went forward a moment before stopping, listening to Lea and Max. "Your home?" He echoed.

Minnie walked out next, a small smile on her face. Perhaps Yen Sid's train had ears and brought them here because she revealed the train's secret, but she knew not everything worked that well. Turning around, she waves martly at the train before looking at the group. "Well, Lea, This is your hometown? Why not give us a little tour, then?" She asked innocently.

Lea nodded, "As you wish, your majesty." She walked them out of the train station and looked up toward the roof. She almost expected to see two pairs of legs hanging over the edge, but that was silly. "Up there used to be Roxas and Axel's special spot. It's a great place to watch the sunset from with close friends..." She then lead them off toward the actual town, She showed them the sandlot and the square, telling them of the struggle tournements and the festivities. She showed them the shops, which were all closing down for the day, and lead them through the side streets, she brought them past the fountain. Everything brought back memories, memories that belonged to her, from her childhood, and memories that belonged to Axel... eventually they reached sunset hill, and she stopped the tour. The sun was going down and casting a beautiful shade of gold over everything.
"Well, I don't know why the train brought us here... but it's not going to take us anywhere else until we find out why..." Lea sighed, leaning against the fence and looking out over her home town and the ocean. "We should find somewhere to stay for the night."
"Your house?" Max asked, not really knowing if Lea wanted to see her parents... or if her parents were even still here.
The girl shook her head, and took her hair out of it's pony tail, letting it spike back. "No... We'll stay in the abandoned mansion," She said, turning to him. "It's across town... " She said, pointing it out from the hill. "You guys can go ahead, I kind of have something I have to take care of..."

Soul turned to look at the mansion in the far off distance, but he couldn't spot it, so he guessed that Minnie or Max could lead him to it. As they stood, something twanged at the ack of Soul's mind, and he looked around. Maybe he could find the mansion himself later, he suddenly had a restlessness in him, something was going up. The actor in him silenced - it had been out during the tour, giving the casual 'Ooo's and 'Ah's an extra would give out or during an montage scene. He played the part well, although he seemed a little see-through at times. But now his attention was elsewhere. "Actually guys, I think I'm gonna go explore the town a little. I think I've only got a taste. See ya." He said quickly, and was already halfway down Sunset hill.

Minnie watched him a moment before turning to Lea. "That's fine Lea, I know where to find it, the King told me about it in his adventures. Come Max, I may need a bodyguard." She said, letting Max hear her well. This was a casual comment, but to the Son of Goofy, who led the Knights of Disney Castle, this was a prestigious title, bodyguard to the Queen.

Max nodded and straightened up a little, standing like a knight. "Yes, your majesty. It will be my honor." He bowed and then stepped to her side.
Lea smiled at the two and nodded a farewell, "I'll see you later." She then ran off down the hill. She didn't stop running until she came to the one place in Twilight Town that she didn't show Max and the others. She moved aside the old tattered curtain and stepped into the shadows. "The usual spot." She sighed and sat herself down on the couch. "Oh, Roxas... where are you?"

Soul ran through the sewers, looking around. "Where are you?" He yelled out into the darkness. Someone was here. Calling him. He could hear them, all around him, they were saying something incomprehensible. He beckoned the Keyblade, and continued to run on.

"Keyblade..."

"Boy has it..."

"....Take it." The last voice muttered. Soul stopped, hearing the last part.

"Take it? Just you try! I earned this Keyblade!" He shouted into the darkness. He was afraid, that was for sure, but he wasn't going to back down - like he said, he was a Keyblade wielder. A sound issued from behind him, he spun around, only to see a small man garbed in blue he looked at it, giving it a 'WTF' look. "Uh..."

Suddenly, the little Vivi burst open and a Dusk flew out of him, Extending it's body in mid air before landing. Soul readied the blade, looking around him. The Dusks started coming out of the stonework, and he was easily surrounded. "Just a Dozen of you? I was hoping for a fair fight!" He shouted as he rushed them.

--

In the darkness merely fifteen paces from them ,a Cloked figure watched the battle. "He wasn't a true wielder. He found it and claimed it as his own." He said. A smaller figure strode forward and watched Soul fight on, but she made no motion towards him. "Let the Dusks handle it, Lumanix, there is no reason for us to get involved here." The cloaked girl looked up at the taller figure, and nodded slowly.

"Tell me, Boss, why do we want to stop this boy? The Keyblade wielders help us..." She asked.

The man looked down at the other cloak, before turning to the battle, as Soul destroyed two Dusks in a ferocious swing, but two more took it's place. Soul kept on, knowing within him he could do it, no matter the odds. Merlin trusted him. "Because he is a fake, a fraud of a Keyblade wielder. He doesn't release the hearts, he just destroys the Heartless."

The girl looked on, her voice emotionless. "I see. So why do we stay back."

The man, underneath the hood, smiled a false smile. "I always enjoy a show."

--

Minnie smiled inwardly at the way Max reacted, and they set off immediately before Lea as they walked towards the train station, she asked Max, "So, what's your relationship with Lea?" She asked. Minnie loved Gossip...

Max's knight act was dropped as soon a Minnie asked him that question. He blushed and looked really defensive. "We're just friends. Completely platonic on both ends! I mean, she's really nice and I'd do anything for her, but it's not like that! I can see where you'd get the idea since we make such a good team and travel together, but it's nothing. I mean, it's not nothing but it's nothing. I mean she's cute but-" Max's sentence then turned into incoherent grumbles.

Minnie giggled, but tried to keep silent next to her 'nephew', as she liked to see him. As they walked on, her walk went from elegant Queen to a much more relaxed and seemed very common, which was very comforting to her after being stuck in the castle for so long. After awhile, her giggles became audible to Max, and she finally said, "I don't know Max... You don't sound very convincing." If only to have a little fun herself, she loved they way Max turned red. It reminded her of the simpler days when Goofy could do that just by entering the room when some cute girl was near Max.

Max shook his head, his blush deepening. "It's really not like that. She's so hung up on that Roxas kid sometimes it's like she doesn't even know I exist..."
---
Lea was laying on the couch, feeling rather relaxed. It was a sad calm... as her thoughts drifted to the afternoons she had spent here as Axel. She could remember playing darts or just laying here on the couch with Roxas... just as she lay alone now.
"You idiot!" A girls voice said in the corner of the room.
Lea jumped.
"I can't believe you washed my clothes with that red sweater of yours! Now everything is pink!"
"I'm sorry, I was just trying to help..."
"Well sorry doesn't cut it."
Two figures in black argued as they emerged from the dark portal that had appeared. They noticed Lea and drew their weapons, the girl had what looked like a jump rope and out of under the male's hood two parts of what looked like a living woolen scarf apeared.
Lea immediately summoned her chakram and the flames that came with them, though she didn't see how these two would be much of a threat. She soon found out how though, when the girl started jumping rope, every time the rope hit the ground a wave of energy was sent out, and almost caused Lea to fall. She threw one of her chakram at the girl but it was blocked by the scarf and thrown back at her. She decided that she shouldn't go into this alone so, she caused a wall of fire to block them in and to take the moment to run away.
She caught up with Max and Minnie, running directly into the former. "Max!"
"What's wrong, Lea?"
"There's trouble. In Roxas and Axel's hide out... there were two people dressed all in black and they came out of this vortex!" Lea explained, out of breath.
----
The flames died down, and the two stood in awe. "Axel," said the shorter of the two, the girl.
"But, I thought he was dead?" The male responded.
"You can think, Twexs? And all this time, I thought your head was just there to hold your hood up."
"That's not very nice..."
"Stop complaining and get in the portal... we have to go tell the boss."

Soul slammed his Keyblade into the ground, blasting the rest of the Dusks nearby in a dark blast. "Yeah!" He exclaimed as the seemed to be no more Dusks. He wasn't even breathing heavily. The reason being was that not that he was tired, it was a breathing technique his mother taught him for being onstage. When done properly, you can get all the oxygen you need, even in high stress points. Soul had opted to learn this sage technique first, and found himself quite good at it. But he didn't have time to reminisce now.

Clap. Clap. Clap.

An audience? Soul turned to look at the direction of the sound, and saw a large hooded man walk out of the Shadows. Soul knew who it was - The Organization. "Well done, not many people can go on to long against Dusks. Much less any other Nobody..."

"Can it. Why the hell did you call me this way? It seems stupid to just send a bunch of fodder at me and then offer me Tea." Soul challenged, trying to act the part of a real Keyblade Warrior.

"Ooo, short on manners. Mommy would be so sad." He smirked. Soul just glared daggers at him. "Well, I suppose you already know who I am and what I'm here for, such a smart boy. Need a medal."

"Shut the **** up!" Soul shouted. "You got five seconds to explain yourself before I shut you up myself!"

The man's face, slightly visible, smirked. "Oh? A fake wielder think he can touch me?"

Soul stomped the ground. "I am not a fake! I worked for this Keyblade, it's mine and Your not gonna take it from me! I won't let you!" He defied, talking with his hand as well. He got ready to fight, but the man rebuked him.

"Oh, I don't mean to fight you, Oh no. I want you to join us. You are already one of Darkness, I can feel it from your heart." He said. The gleam from his pure white teeth was sickening. Suddenly, Neo Shadows twitched nearby and grew out of the wall, once again Soul found himself surrounded. "Succumb to the Heartless, leave your Heart behind and reach true power to do what you please!" He said. Soul took a step back, only to notice the Neo-Shadows crawling up behind him, as well.

"But... You Organization members want to become whole again! That's why you want Kingdom Hearts. Giving up my heart goes against everything you try to do!" He said. "Your a hypocrite!" He said.

The Man's smile faded. "You misunderstand me, boy. We Want Kingdom Hearts, oh yes, no denying that..." He said. "But we do not wis or our hearts back. No, We wish to complete it for... other means." He said. Soul didn't understand. Merlin only told him so much. If only he had more time with the Wizard... "Well, it's not like you have much chance..." He laughed a deep, empty laugh. He looked towards the Heartless with a slight malice. "Kill him." He said. Soul looked around as the launched around him, and did the only thing he could do - run away. A Dark Portal surrounded him as he disappeared into nothingness, leaving the Boss Perplexed. "Hmm..." He mumbled. "Perhaps the boy is more in tune with the Darkness then I gave him credit for... Lumanix! Find the two fools, Twexs and Diaxly, and tell them to meet back at the castle. I have research to do..." He disappeared into a portal. Lumanix watched the shadows peer around curiously, before disappearing herself.

--

Minnie nodded and turned to Max. "Shall we check it out?" She asked her 'bodyguard'. "They could be leftover Organization members." She said hurriedly as she apparently made Max the 'party leader'.

Max nodded, "Let's go." He then moved out, running in the direction Lea had just come from. He made sure the two women were keeping up with him but still safely behind him.
"Through there!" Lea pointed and lead them into the Usual Place.
The group arrived ready for battle, but all they saw was the last scraps of the portal swirling before they disappeared forever. "They've left."
"Well, I can't say I'm sad they did. Let's just get to the mansion before it gets too dark. You can take care of anymore things that you need to take care of in the morning, Lea. The last thing I need is for you to meet up with the organization..."
"Alright, let's go..." Lea nodded. But before she moved to follow Max, she ran to the wall and removed a loose brick, taking out from behind it a small silver charm in the shape of an x. Once she had that and a few other little things in her pocket, she walked along with Max. "The mansion isn't far. I doubt we'll meet much trouble on the way."

As Lea spoke, a Large pillar of darkness appeared in the room. It stayed there a moment, almost like letting everyone know that Lea had just said the one thing that adventurers know not to say. Minnie got prepared for whatever was coming through, but suddenly the portal dropped, And Soul stood there, looking rather bruised a nd a little beaten up, but with a little smirk on his face. "Where are we? The mansion?" He said, looking around. "This doesn't look like a mansion."

Even Minnie was a little perplexed at Soul's sudden entrance.

"This isn't the mansion." Max stated, looking at their teammate's strange appearance.
Lea seemed annoyed, "What are you doing? You used the same thing as the bad guys! Were you with them? Are you one of them?" Her temper was flaring up, and along with it was the ground apparently, as small flames seemed to circle around her feet. "What's going on?"
"Calm yourself, Lea. He's one our side, remember. Let's just go to the mansion and we'll sort everything out where it's safe. If those guys come back, I really don't want to be standing here bickering."
"Fine."
Max shook his head, and started to lead the way out. He knew the general way to the mansion and was sure Lea would speak up if he made a wrong turn.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 08, 2007 6:38 pm

Soul blinked, unsure what to say to Lea. "I only found you guys because I was able to trace Minnie's light..." He said, before Max cu them off. He held his head and nodded. "I agree with Max. If this isn't the mansion, I'd like to get there soon. I don't like being wide open to attack again." He said. "I'll explain later, but I don't see why I have to again." He mumbled, trying to remember if he had told them the whole story before nodding off. Perhaps the whole second part of it had played out in his head while he slept. Luckily, he mumbled the last part so only Minnie heard him, and she decided to just let it go.

Minnie turned to Max. "Yes, let's head to the Mansion. I'm Sure Lea can lead us the rest of the way?" She asked, turning to Lea.

Lea lead them through the town and the woods to the mansion. It seemed empty, so she took them inside and for some reason headed to the dining room. Max followed and sat at the head of the table when he got there. Lea took the seat to his right.
"Well, apparently we're here because the Organization is here," Max said to the others, seeing if they had any ideas to add. He looked to Lea but she only said one word.
"Axel."
He didn't know what to say, since she was obviously in a bad mood and thinking about her other half. The goof then looked to the Queen to see if she had any input on the situation.
