I was at Carmen (the opera) about a month ago. At the end of the second intermission, I was picturing the chandelier falling in my mind. Then suddenly I looked up and THREE of the hanging lights above the audience were swinging!!! I wanted to shout "HE'S THERE, THE PHANTOM OF THE IUMAC!!!" But I kept quiet and told my phanphriend Elizabeth (who got to be in the opera, lucky her) after the show was over.

ShadyKitsune Heh, this was great. XD Today at school, while we were practicing for our upcoming chorus concert, the stage lights suddenly went dim at the end of a song. We only have one lightswitch by the stairs and no one was there when we looked. One of my friends and I went "He's here, the Phantom of the Opera!" and I automatically looked up into the rafters...I could have sworn I saw something move. Our chorus teacher looked so confused, it was hilarious. XD He kept saying to himself "...weird...thats...thats just...weird..." and kept looking around the auditorium.
IT HAPPENED AGAIN! XD 'Cept different lights. Singin' again for our last school concert this year and one of my friends points to the box/room up a level that looks out over the auditorium and asks the teacher, "Mr. Shover? Is there any reason why there's a light is flickering back there?" He turns around silently and looks behind him for a moment before turning back and saying "Uh, nope." Me and my other buddeh next to me start saying/yelling, "It's Erik." "IT'S ERIK!" "Oh, it's Erik alright!" and we all go "He's here, the Phantom of the Opera!" again and laugh.

I believe that I was visited by the Angel of Music. I was working in the costume shop at my school while Oklahoma was going on. The show hadn't started and I was ironing the cowboy's shirts and I hear music. But it didn't sound like the music from the show...it was organ music. And it sounded very much like the Overture from Phantom...at first I thought that it was just my imagination or maybe in one of the girl's dressing room they were playing Phantom. But during the show...there was no CD players in sight, no iPods with Phantom of the Opera in them. It was late, so I was probably exhausted and the music just started playing in my head...
There was another time during my singing competition when I felt something. As I was singing my song, I felt that there was someone behind me. That day, I felt I sang the best that I had ever done and I feel that somehow, I visited by the Angel of Music. I don't know...maybe I was overconfident that I would do well...

Poo! I have never been visited in actual everyday life! Just in a dream! scream
EDIT:
No I remember once now. xD Okay my friend I were skipping class. Yush, I know. Bad me... Anyways, we went into the auditorium because it is very dark. You couldn't even see your hand in front of yourself. Okay. So we walk to a wall on the other side behind the seats so there was no way we could get caught at all. We sit there quietly maybe talking here and there. She was playing her gameboy and I was listening to my iPod. All the sudden there is this big thud up above us where the stage lights are. xDD Man I jumped so high... and my iPod was up all the way. Even though, it's only getting started. So... we go back to whatever we are doing even though I'm still laughing my head off. All the sudden the stage lights behind the curtain come on and there is music. XD! I was like, "WTF! Who is back there!" I started to go up to the stage and I went behind the curtain... and no one was back there. >< I promise! Yet the music kept playing from behind the curtains. Than there was something moving above us in the stage lights. xD To this very day I claim it was Erik. I know I'm not that crazy. I can't be! xDDD

Every time I go in the bathroom at work and no one else is in there, the lights flicker madly as I leave. The first time I was like "AHHH!!! HE'S HERE!! ERIK, STOP BEING A PERVERT!!!" Now, every time I go in the bathroom, I say "Hi, Erik".

So last year at around this time my two friends and I were sitting in 6th period waiting for the class to start when all of a sudden the guy my friends had a crush on walks in, in FULL PHANTOM ATTIRE.
I melted on the spot.
So about fifteen minutes later we're reading 'silently' and he begins to hum 'All I ask of You' and I being such a Phan decided to softly sing along. Suddenly we're singing together with these big grins on our faces and he stands and does a PERFECT phantom cape 'whoosh', walks to my desk and extends a gloved hand for me to take. So we're standing in the middle of the classroom singing a Broadway musical to eachother and at the end of the song he leans foward and places a kiss on the top of my head.
My friends almost mauled me. x3
Then, as we left class, he handed me a little origami envelope addressed:
To Christine
O.G.
Inside it simply read:
The Phantom has left his mark.
with a drawing of the mask and the rose.

Well, I haven't been visited by Erik in public, but I do remember one time I was listening to Lord Michael Crawford, in my empty house (I'm still living with my parents.... rolleyes ), and I was listening to "All I ask Of You", and singing along with Christine's part, (hello, I can outsing the singer) and out of nowhere BEFORE LMC began singing, the drink I had next to me started to vibrate, as if someone was walking into my room.
eek
And if that wasn't enough, I feel a whisp of cold air near my ear whispering simply: Sing, My Angel of Music...
I have NO CLUE what to make of it... stare

I haven't been necessarily visited, but the spirit of Erik is definitely in me.
Last weekend, at my grandmother's nursing home, I wandered into the lobby and started playing the piano there. I felt like I was pouring my heart into the music. Music was my escape from reality. It felt like music was my one true friend. Sound familiar?
