Kuoni snorted. Many wolves act different around their mates. Look at Fiorenza. 'But Aphrodite says she's really not bad...' Kuoni needed to think more, and find out for herself.
Listening to Roxas, Kuoni flattened her ears and looked at the floor. It was near impossible imagining her brother as a threat, but they wouldn't lie to her about something like that. "Mikey... an attack dog." It tastes bitter saying it. She didn't like Mikey much, but this wasn't right. There had always been love simply as a little sister, but she had never liked him much. Was she to blame for Mikey falling for Agrona's tricks?

Aphrodite looked at Kuoni and began to see colors that showed that Kuoni was feeling sad and confused. She knelt down and wrapped an arm around her friend. "It's alright Kuoni."
Roxas watched the two females then turned around. "Well I'm going to head off and take this pie to Namine." He said picking the pie up, "I'll leave you two alone and it was nice to see you Kuoni." With that he walked out of the kitchen.

Kuoni nuzzled against Aphrodite's side. "No it isn't." She said, not paying much mind to Roxas' exit.
She should have been a better sister. Not teased him so much. Not argued so much. Should have shown him more often that part of her that did care. Should have, should have, should have. So many 'should haves,' not enough 'dids.'
"My only brother is turning into a monster. We never got along very well, but he's my brother... or was. How can anything be alright about that?" She laid her head on Aphrodite's lap and stared at the floor, thinking about the 'should haves.'

Aphrodite shook her head. "That's true but it was Mikey's choice to follow the path he is on." She said, "It was no one else's fault than his own." She looked down at Kuoni with a sad expression. She must be blaming herself for this or her mother. She thought. She gently stroked Kuoni's head.

Kuoni closed her eyes, trying to allow Aphrodite's gentle strokes to sooth her. 'His own choice. He chose that path.' It seemed to bounce around her mind, not sticking. She wanted to believe, and supposed it was true, but time had made her mind stubborn, and she continued unconcioulsy fighting the thought that she wasn't entirely to blame.
"Do you know how daddy is taking all this?" She asked. If Fiorenza was falling apart, that meant daddy must be around. He wouldn't willingly let her go to pieces... would he?

Aphrodite shook her head. "I have no idea how your father is doing." She said, "We never saw much of him before and ever since your disappearance he stopped seeing Fiorenza or she stopped seeing him." She looked off in the distance for a moment before turning her head back to Kuoni. "If you want we can go to your human's room and see if he's there."

Kuoni shook her head. She didn't know what she wanted. No... she knew what she wanted. She just didn't know which was right. Or which was best. She could make things worse by making the wrong choice.
But she did know she had to make sure he was at least okay. "Maybe just a peek." She said, moaning achely as she stood on sore paws. "Just to check on him." What if he had fallen apart too?

Aphrodite could see the confusing swirls of colors in Kuoni and sighed. "Alright." She said getting up, "Lead the way." She then began walking straight for a wall.

Kuoni was looking at the floor. Then she looked up at the door. 'It's up the stairs... how many doors?' "I hope I remember which door." She said hesitantly. She looked back to Aphrodite for support, and gasped with a start. "Aphrodite!" She yelped.

Aphrodite stopped inches from the wall. "What?" She asked turning around, "I'm sure you'll remember. It'll probably be like riding a bike or something like that."

Kuoni sighed. "This way. I think." Kuoni held the door open for Aphrodite, then headed for the stairs. She trudged up the way, cold creeping up her spine with each step. Worry about how Enigma was, and how he would react to her being here, and in the state she was in.
She walked slowly down the long corridor of doors. Her mind wandered though her thoughts until her feet stopped themselves. She looked up.
She was there. The familiar sign was still duct taped to the door.
She took a deep breath and held it as she nudged the door slightly, moving forward to peek through the crack...

Aphrodite followed Kuoni up the steps and to her owner's room. "Are we there?" She asked in a normal tone. She didn't know where the door was and reached out. She touched the door and accidentally opened it all the way since she had put some weight into her touch.

Unable to see much of anything, Kuoni frowned. She was going to have to open the door a bit mo- she froze when the door suddenly opened the entire way. Her wide eyes took in the room. Much had changed, yet most was the same. The green walls and the bed with red sheets. More wolf beds. A hole in the wall??
There, on a wolf bed. Was that-?!
Hearing the door open, Tilly lifted her head from the bone she had been gnawing lazily on. She looked up and rooled her eyes. "Tilly, you need to sleep. Now you're starting to see her." She sighed and went back to the bone. She looked back over. The image was still there... and a scent...
Her jaw dropped. Was she really here?! "Kuoni?" She squeaked out.

Aphrodite caught herself before she fell into the room. "Oops. Sorry about that." She said hearing another voice, "Who's that?" She sniffed the air and caught Tilly's scent. It seemed familiar from when the news of Kuoni's disappearance had been delivered.

Kuoni spared half a second to give Aphrodite a small glare for pushing the door open. She turned back to her old friend. The happiness she felt seeing Tilly was almost painful. "Tilly." She breathed, her vision becoming blurry from tears. "Tilly. I-" She started, before being tackled in a glomp from Tilly. "Careful!" She yelped with a tiny laugh, trying to nuzzle Tilly while keeping from squishing her stomach.
Tilly watched a moment longer, to make sure she really wasn't hallucinating, that she wasn't turning into Enigma. But he always saw her as a child. she'd be grown by now... And this wolf was. "Kuoni!" She shreiked, jumping off the bed and tackling Kuoni. "Oh-my-gosh-where-have-you-been-we've-all-been-so-worried-the-others-gave-up-but-I-knew-I'd-see-you-again-I've-missed-you-so-much-Enigma-will-be-so-happy-when-he-finds-out-you're-home-why-didn't-you-come-back-sooner-we-saved-your-bed-for-you-what's-it-like-living-in-the-woods-are-you-going-back-please-stay-don't-leave-again-we've-all-missed-you-and-want-you-home-again!!!!!" Tilly said rapidly, barely taking the time to breath.
