One more place for the list:

Britain.

Wearing a kippah in any council-housing areas (does America provide the poor with housing? If so, what are those areas called?) will result in you being stabbed and then cut open like a cadaver so that one guy can prove to their mates that all Jews have blue blood and eat babies. I don't often venture out of my neighbourhood on my own any more.

Any place in particular? I mean, putting just plain "Britain" on the list looks kind of weird...

BTW, sorry I haven't been active on this thread for a while. A lot of junk has been happening and I haven't had much time for Gaia. Thanks for all the interest in this thread, though!

That's not anti-semitism. The fight here is for the land. As much as it's tough that's diffrent. Anti-semitism is for people who hates jews without any purpose or benefits.

Subsidized housing. We don't have it in my town, but there are some in other areas. You probably wouldn't get hassled here for a kippah, just some stares.

You end up with your limbs in different rivers here. Put Muslim/poor areas of Britain then. They're opinion of Jews is that we're all greedy bankers who drink children's blood and made up the Holocaust for sympathy. And people GENUINELY believe that. I'm not making this sh*t up!

Prolly has something to do with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

BTW, everyone should dig up a copy of that in their own language. The original is a 19th century novel by Hermann Goedsche called Biarritz about how a secret Jewish Cabal was going to take over the world.

The concept kept going until newspaper articles were written about Jewish conspiracy theories and eventually the line between fact and fiction blurred.

Eventually all the conspiracy theories came together and someone published an expose manuscript book called "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" which were basically a collection of news paper editorials, theories and plagiarized bits of Goedsche's book.

And while we're on the subject of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, lets see what the reviews are...

"The only statement I care to make about the Protocols is that they fit in with what is going on. They are sixteen years old, and they have fitted the world situation up to this time. They fit it now." --Henry Ford, 2-17-1921, whose newspaper, the Dearborn Independent, cited the Protocols as evidence of an alleged Jewish threat until at least 1927

Yeah, Ford didn't like Jewish people, you know who else didn't care much for the Jews?

"To what extent the whole existence of this people is based on a continuous lie is shown incomparably by the Protocols of the Wise Men (Elders) of Zion...." --Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf

and my all time favorate

Los Angeles Times, November 28, 1993

MOSCOW -- In what observers called a historic ruling, a Russian court has pronounced the infamous "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" an anti-Semitic forgery -- the first such verdict in the land where the fraud originated 90 years ago.

"Up to now every country had disengaged itself from this shameful book, except Russia, where it was concocted," Tancred Golenpolsky, the publisher of the Moscow Jewish newspaper that won the ruling, said Saturday.

Also according to rumor, a underground film came out on The Protocols of the Elders of Zion in the middle east marketed towards the Arab Market. Probably where the neighborhood Arabs get their ideas from.

Here's the Syrian version of the book, published in 2005

So the book is still alive and kicking, and killing.

Actually that's not a bad thing, once you consider the most hateful images humorous, then they lose their power. Which is another good way to deal with anti-Semites.

This is what happened to my synagogue in the wee hours of this morning (last night, this morning... it was dark out, okay?). Or, rather, my former synagogue, when I was Reform.

http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2008/12/hate-crime-probed-at-north-side-temple.html

I'm glad no one was hurt, but I'm so dismayed at this happening at all. Violence, whether on a personal or an international scale, is the failure of diplomacy. When I see things like this, I can't help but think, "Really? Did you just not learn enough words, or do you have enough words but not know how to put them together? You clearly did this so that someone would pay attention and listen to you. Very well; we're listening. Now, what would you like to say? Use your WORDS."

Sometimes messages aren't through words. We listened the moment he threw it. He told us he didn't like Israel, or Jewish people. And now we're answering, with hand-cuffs and courts.

What do you think motivates anti-semitism?

To me, throughout history there has been so much senseless persecution of world Jewry as if Western Civilization doesn't understand how much Jews have contributed, and built Western culture, from our civil liberties, to our technologies and medical advancements, much of it is thanks to European Jews, spiritual descendants of simple band of rag-tag desert nomads. Jewish history just continues to amaze me every time I learn more and it makes me want to be part of this beautiful world culture even more. Yet at the same time I am continually perplexed, it's not just the far-right wing who seem to think Jews are the head of some grand "global conspiracy" in the shadows of world banks, but it's the left wing who accuse Israel, in some eyebrow raising irony, of being some modern national socialist state.

The only thing I can currently think of in relation to the issue of antisemitism (actually, to be honest I have problems with this term as "Semite" refers to a Middle Eastern genetic collective, rather than the spiritual collective of world Jewry.) that being because Judaism is more or less, not an active proselytizing faith, and because of the close-bond nature of Jews and general Halakha, to an outside observer or goyim, Jews seem secretive and segregated. And as for anti-Jewry in predominately Islamic states, the Qur'an has a tendency to instruct Muslims to murder Jews and Christians... and anyone who doesn't accept Allah and his crony warlord friend Muhammad, and these societies are based on the Qur'an rather than Western secular liberalism so children are taught from birth that these teachings are manifest truth from G-d, and questioning them is heresy. But these are the only sociological reasons I can think of currently. What are your opinions on the mass-psychological process of societies leading to anti-Jewry?

Actually, the Qu'ran teaches that Jews and Christians have access to their paradise, and that these two religions are to be respected as siblings.
Muhammad says similar things in the Surah, though I'm not an expert on the Qu'ran.
