zukpager305 rachaella22 neko-hime-cfi i saw a preview for the show at comic con and decided to watch it. the first episode was awesome. the first character that i fell in love with was katara. she had to be the most feminist character that i have ever seen. then when i saw zuko i was all like "omg, that dude is like bald...but still hawt!" and then when he went to the village, and grabbed gran gran. i thought to myself "dude, he is totally going to bang that chick that bends water. that would be soo cool." and thus, i became a zutarain without ever really being in contact with any other avatards. seriously, it has only been recent that i have found out how popular this show is. oh, also, it seems that i am the only zutara in the imperial valley that i know of. so yeah, all out on my lonesome here in the desert.

Damn right! xD Too bad it's a children's show and that'll never happen. D:good thing that stigma does not affect fanfiction!

I began to become a Zutaraian after my computer could load youtube for the first time which was less than a year ago. I began watching avatar fan vids including Zutara wons. At first I was confused by that thinking it a funny joke. But then I watched Zutara evidence for the intellectual dummy and I fell in love with it. God bless the internet and youtube for opening my eyes.

Veysa I began to become a Zutaraian after my computer could load youtube for the first time which was less than a year ago. I began watching avatar fan vids including Zutara wons. At first I was confused by that thinking it a funny joke. But then I watched Zutara evidence for the intellectual dummy and I fell in love with it. God bless the internet and youtube for opening my eyes.

I discovered Zutara when I first saw the Waterbending Scroll. Now, being in the Harry Potter fandom had completely screwed with my mind so I at that time I shipped Zutara because it was a crack ship.
Yes, at one time I believe Zutara to be a crack ship. sweatdrop
However, Season Two rolled around and I began to see how well they were suited for each other. I began to think it less of a crack ship but more along the lines of a doomed ship. Because, honestly HOW many times has Katara kissed Aang?
And then something wonderful happen. My friend suggested I watch the 'Zutara Evidence for the Intellectual Dummy'. Long story short they BLEW MY MIND.
So now I am a hundred percent Canon!Zutara.

I've been a Zutarian for so long that I can't really remember how I discovered it. But I think it was through the fandom, I was trying to find a ship I could just slightly support and keep my mind active till Season 3 started. Maikoians were boring to talk to (I look back and find that ironic), Kataangers were just plain snide and the rest were just...Blah.
I had a fun time around Zutarians, and from then on it just grew on me.

For me, I became a huge Avatar fan first, at the age of 10, shortly after watching the first episode. Then I saw The Waterbending Scroll. That didn't lead me to become a huge Zutara fan, but I realized the two might somehow end up together. By the time I saw The Storm, I knew Zuko would probably turn good. Then, in the summer of the (rather short) haitus between The Blue Spirit and The Fortuneteller, I discovered fanfiction and fansites. At the time, there were only 5 pages total of K to K+ Avatar romance fics on fanfiction.net. My favorite was Everything for a Price by Masko Moonshade. I went on the fansite Complete Opposites (now closed) almost everyday. By the time I went into my next year of school, I was a major Zutarian. Now, at the age of 13, I'm still a major Zutarian.

I've managed to convert or put doubts in their minds with those videos and my own form of shipping wars wink I remeber back when I thought zutara had no chance and was just a dream of fan art and amvs. I acctually remeber when I didn't know what ship meant or that their were shipping names. Then slowly became full pledged and die hard Zutara. I've never taken to a show this much before. Mainly because I've never had cool people to talk to about it(Sappy moment but the truth none the less)If it wasn't for you guys I'd probably lose my insanity(my sanity is already gone)

Well how I got into zutara was actually the day they showed Southern Raiders, Ember Island Players and the Sozin's Comet thing. I used to watch avatar from the very begining but stopped because I had no time then that day i thought "I miss it.." And when I saw those episodes I was like "He is in love with her!!!!" he being Zuko of course. But at the end of sozin's comet I screamed for about twenty minutes in anger and painless agony. then I watched every episode [so i kind of went backwards o_O but i was lost!] Then I read Stormbenders.. looked up fanart.. and all that stuff and I really can't believe got into it all just a month ago .. So that's pretty much how it started for me..

They hardly ever show Katara's feelings on her relationship with Aang, the least they could do was a give a reason why she chose him. I had various family members who watched the show regually become confused by the endgame ships. (my family is filled with Zutarians.)

I've been zutara since the fortune teller episode. Aunt Wu told katara that she would marry a powerful bender and I was like "zuko's a powerful bender! Katara's going to marry zuko I know it!!!" My brother just looked at me like I had grown a second head.
