"Agreed. Although, it is nice to take a break for awhile after we've been flying on Crysta," Sapphire pointed out. "Once everyone's done eating, I'm sure they'll all be willing to search this place for a stone."

"That's true," Ruby replied with a sigh. "Though I didn't want everyone's help in the first place. I mean, it's nice to have the company, but Brownie would have teleported me over and I could have gone looking myself. It's not fair to you all to have to be dragged into my treasure hunting."

"And let you go off on your own?" Sapphire smiled. "You're on a team Ruby and teams stick together, whether we're on a mission or just taking a break at the cafe. Besides, what if you had found a stone and you ran into trouble? Who'd be there to help you? I'm possitive of these cashiers would be willing to help you."

Alex took the fruit gratefully and sat down with Ruby and Sapphire... Because the table was there, and she could. Although it wasn't really like her to be silent...
"Sandwhiches, Sandwhiches, Sandwhiches..." Sekkai muttered, looking around for the sandwhich stall. "Ah ha!" She exclaimed, and ran over to the stall, with Kiichigo and Kira not all too far behind her. The three girls all ordered their sandwhiches.

Ami shrugged. "Suit yourselves, but I think my pancakes are delicious." She then sat down at an empty table, poured some batter into her pancake maker from a batter container that she had, and began to watch it cook.
Ceviche sighed before taking a seat at the same table as Ami. From her bag, she took out a pre-packaged salad, complete with lettuce, carrot shavings, small pieces of cucumber, and lots of ranch dressing. Not that she didn't like fruit or anything, but she had packed this salad thinking that she might not find any other place to eat, and... well, she didn't want to let the salad go to waste.

Pez began browsing the shops. 'I should probably have some meat. It'll take longer to digest and therefore I won't get too hungry too soon...' she thought putting her hands behind her head as she walked around casually. "Shredded pork with Peking sauce!" she suddenly decided out loud pounding her fist into her open hand vertically. She spun her head around and finally located a little stall selling Chinese food. Pez ran up to it.
"May I help you?" a plump woman asked in English with a mild accent. Pez looked at the menu and was glad to see that they had what she was looking for.
"Shredded port with Peking sauce over rice... And scallion pancakes, please!" she ordered. The lady nodded happily and began preparing one of the Styrofoam take out containers. She handed Pez the pork covered with redish brown sauce and lightly burnt scallion pancakes. The green scallions could be seen. "Do you accept Japanese yen?" she asked in English. The lady nodded as Pez counted out the right amount and handed the money to the clerk.
"Thank you," the lady said, opening the register and handing Pez about twenty Chinese Yuan.
((About 8 yuan= one dollar.))

"Keh. Teams may stick together, yes, but sometimes it is important for things to be done alone. The thing is, I know I'll run into trouble, and I feel a big group will get in the way." Ruby replied with a slight laugh. "To be a good treasure hunter, one really has to be able to see everything... too many people around hinders vision of the ground. Also, I'd be able to run if anyone attacked me... remember, I am able to fly. However, not everyone in this group is able to. It makes escaping trouble that much more difficult."

"I guess that's true...I had forgotten you could fly," Sapphire murmured as she stared at the last piece of fruit in her bowl. "I suppose we all have our own opinions and choices to make. Yours apparently were already made up."
(Man, Sapphire now sounds like a wise person.xD)

Alex listened to the conversation between Sapphire and Ruby. She was slightly confused. She remembered Ruby being the one to ask all of them to go with her*.
Kira, Kiichigo, and Sekkai found a table and sat down. They started eating.
((* - Alex is displaying my current thoughts. I'm thinking "But didn't Ruby practically force the others to go with her? I mean, Alex wouldn't have gone if she didn't have to"))

"And Thyme just had to go and ruin it all with her books, saying how hard it supposedly is to climb Vesuvius. It's only hard if you have absolutely no stamina, like whatever scientist wrote it," Ruby muttered loudly (hehe, she can do that). "I had planned on coming alone, except maybe with Brownie, but Thyme is an idiot. And the alien mews keep drawing straws... I think we'll all get sick of it soon."
((Hehe, Ruby hadn't wanted anyone to come. Thyme made her ask for help, for her 'own good'. How? Probably got threatened with being given no more help on homework. Sorry, I had forgotten to mention that.))

"Oo, that's mighty bold to say," Pez said plopping her box of food down on the table and taking a seat. "Especially since a lot of them are accompanying us." She opened up the lid. A lot of water had condensed on the top of the lid and as she opened it, a few drops of water fell onto her food. She slid the disposable wooden chopsticks out of their paper cover, broke them apart, and rubbed the ends together as to get rid of any possible splinters. "By the way Ruby, even though we all came, were you expecting this many people? I know that some of us thought you might need help, but there are a lot of us," Pez said picking up a piece of shredded pork and holding it in front of her face. It had a few grains of white rice sticking to the sticky brown sauce that covered the meat.

Leichi was doing what Pez was doing a few minutes ago: Looking for something to eat. 'Pasta? Nah, boring. Pizza? I had that recently,' she thought, running through a short list. Her face lit up as she thought of what she really wanted. 'A bagel with salmon cream cheese!' she decided. Leichi ran up to a bakery-ish themed stall she had seen earlier and looked at all the different breads they sold. "I'll have a plain bagel and a tub of salmon cream cheese!" she announced to the cashier, quite loudly.
The cashier jumped a bit at Leichi's loud declaration but nodded shakily, turning around. She picked up one of the tissues and then grabbed a plain bagel with it. It was quite a large bagel. She put it into a brown paper bag with the store's name on it and handed it to Leichi along with a tub of salmon cream cheese.
"Four hundred thirty yen, please," she said in almost flawless Japanese, somehow guessing that Leichi was Japanese.
Leichi dug her hand into her pocket and handed the lady the exact change, placing it carefully on the table. "Thank you!" she said, walking away to find a table with her friends.

Pez opened her mouth and plopped the meat into it. She began chewing pointing her chopsticks almost horizontally at a 90 degree bend from her arm. Her elbow was resting on the table. "Well then you should have said 'Aliens' instead of 'Alien Mews,'" she said sassily after she had swallowed. She picked up a small mound of rice this time and plopped it into her mouth.
((...I dun wanna do Serori's order. gonk *Is lazy* But I want to type out something long about what she orders... *Is talking to herself*))
